Leica Mini M gets a preview before June 11th Launch

The Leica Mini M was teased by the company recently, with a launch date set at June 11th, But an image of the camera has been found. Mirrorless Rumors has found an image on the french iPad app for the camera and a lot of information has come forth.

The Mini M from Leica will sport a 16.1 MP APS/C sensor with a fixed 28-70mm f/3.5-6.4 lens, rather than the interchangeable mount expected earlier. A body made entirely of Aluminum and support for an optional (expensive!) electronic viewfinder.

The new mini M will also support HD video capture with in body Image Stabilization and custom/ manual controls. The Leica Mini M will also ship with a licensed copy of Adobe Lightroom with the box.

More details should emerge on or before the launch and we will keep you posted. The expected price of the Mini M is  €2,450 or about Rs. 1,75,000 (before customs and tax).
