With the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 set to launch tomorrow, the full renders fro the press have leaked to show the dual edged Note phone from the company. The look of the phone falls in with many other previous leaks, talking about a new design stylus and iris dimply which can been seen on the handset.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be launched in three colours as seen before and will feature an Exynos variant and a Snapdragon 820 variant, with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM respectively.
Samsung is betting big on the Iris scanner for locking up of individual apps and the main phone to make it more secure in lieu of most businesses opting out of using an Android handset.
The new S Pen is expected to have some fun tricks up its sleeve. Along with a similar camera setup when compared to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
Another leak shows the new Samsung Gear VR in an all Black variant which looks excellent and should work with all the latest Samsung handsets. See below for comparisons of the Note 7 with the S7 Edge courtesy @Onleaks

Samsung is working fast towards the launch of the Galaxy Note 7, in an attempt to beat Apple’s next iPhone to the market. But India it seems is not keen on the next smartphone from Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which is expected to have a dual edge design, an Iris Scanner and a new tricks up its S-Pen stylus is not something that users are looking to buy.
Rajiv Gupta, a 32 year old CA, and an avid Galaxy Note user says :
I Have used every note device since its original launch, and am highly disappointed in the lack of growth of the segment. The phone this year seems to be playing off the iris scanner gimmick and the S7 or the iPhone 7 seem to be my choice
Varun Sharma, a 22 year old Student of Delhi University, who has also owned two generation of Galaxy Note smartphones claims that the market is far more fierce than it used to be, and budget smartphones are claiming a large portion of the high end pot.
I used to prefer buying Samsung flagships, but the last note’s S-pen was really troublesome and Samsung did nothing to fix the problem. I have used the OnePlus 3 and am waiting to buy the Soft gold variant, because i expect the Note 7 to be priced beyond Rs. 60000 and that makes absolutely no sense.
Many other people claim that the rumors are not matching up to expectations of the Smartphone. Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in India early August, tiring in with global launches, however, with the trend, the phone is expected to be priced in the Rs 60,000 price bracket.

Samsung may yet be in trouble, with a lot of people waiting for the next iPhone and the other opportunities in the market that include the likes of LeEco and OnePlus that seem to be offering flagship specs for almost half the price.
It also seems that Samsung will not have anything exclusive to the Galaxy Note 7 this year, with iP68 on the Galaxy S7 and Dual Edge on the Galaxy S7 Edge already launched earlier this year, the Note 7 will heavily rest on the Iris Scanner, which may not be enough to woo customers. Unless, the company reveals a new feature that gets everyone excited.
OnePlus has officially launched the Soft Gold variant of the OnePus 3 in the US and will launch it in other counties on 1st August. The company had initially only launched the Graphite colour variant of the OnePlus 3 which is selling well according to the Chine manufacturer.
The Soft Gold variant is expected to do well in asian markets and the company claims its not the typical flash gold variant, but a more subtle tone of gold. OnePlus also says that the Soft Gold variant is limited and may not be remanufactured.
Be aware, supply of the Soft Gold version of the OnePlus 3 is limited. If this is the device you’ve been waiting for, we recommend ordering yours before the first batch of devices runs out!
*Launch Information:
US – July 26, 12:00 pm US Eastern time
EU – August 1, 12:00 pm CEST
HK – August 1, 6:00 pm Hong Kong time

The Redmi Pro is all set to launch on the 27th of July, with the name confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer. The Redmi Pro is rumored to run on a deca-core MediaTek MT6797M processor and pack 3GB of RAM.
The company may also make a 4GB RAM variant and the handsets will run Android 6 with MiUi.
The phone might have dual cameras and a metal unibody, while simply being a hacked up version of the Redmi Note.
Xiaomi is also reportedly working on a laptop that will rival the Apple MacBook, which may also be unveiled on July 27th.
There is no stopping the leaks of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, with the company now confirming the August 2nd Launch date officially on their twitter handles, it seems that we will not be expecting a major new device, as the world will already know the handset.
The latest leak shows off the iris scanner unlock system on the lock screen. which shows two circles above the usual pattern lock. The image comes via @stagueve and it is the most up-close look you should get with the Galaxy Note 7 and its iris scanner prior to launch.
Iris scanner Note 7
Spec wise the Note 7 is supposedly going to launch in two variants a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, another variant with Exynos 7420 processor was also leaked. The Note 7 will also carry a maximum 4 GB of RAM as opposed to the expected 6 GB previously leaked.
In an internal memo obtained by iGyaan, the Note 7 is also expected to have two new features to in the Air View menu, along with a confirmation of the Iris scanner and a border-less display expected to be the Edge Display.
Come December 2016, WhatsApp will end all support for handsets running Symbian, Nokia S40 and all Blackberry operating systems. The Facebook-owned chat application will also remove support for those running on older versions of Windows mobile, Android and iOS.
The full list of operating systems :
BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
Nokia S40
Nokia Symbian S60
Android 2.1 and Android 2.2

iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
The company did apologise for ending the services but, claims that if it is to offer newer services including encryption and voice calling, users will need to upgrade to newer gen handsets.
This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has also started pushing messages to those on the mentioned platforms notifying users that they will not be able to use WhatsApp post 31/12/2016
It appears that Apple may actually be killing the mute switch on the next generation of the iPhone. If new image leaks are to be believed the next iPhone will not only cut the headphone jack but also the mute rocker switch.
New images leaked by a french website show what supposedly an accurate dummys of new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Pro and they tie in with a lot of the leaks in the past. For the iPhone 7 Pro dual cameras on the rear, an existant yet redisigned home button and no headphone jack, a new design larger single camera for the iPhone 7. However, one new fact that appears is the lack of the silent switch.
Apple already removed the switch from the newest iPad Pro, even though a virtual button exists. Apple has made no major revision to the design of the iPhone 7 to warrant the removal of the mute switch, unless it somehow hinders the water resistivity of the iPhone, which seems to be the only logical answer. Either that or the images are of a nice mockup made using current leaks, wouldnt be too difficult considering you can 3D print anything now.
The sizes of the screen remain at 4.7 inches for the iPhone 7 and 5.5 inches for the larger iPhone 7 Pro.
A server side update on the popular messaging app, WhatsApp, has allowed the ability to replay to certain messages by selecting them and then pressing the reply text popup.
This then includes the message you are replying to , to make more sense in chaotic group chats. WhatsApp also previousl allowed you to include some basic formatting in your messages inlcuding Bold Text, Italics text and Strikethrough.
• Bold: Add an asterisk (*) before and after the specific words or phrases you want to embolden e.g. *hello*
• Italics: Add an underscore (_) before and after your chosen words or phrases e.g. _hello_
• Strikethrough: Add a tilde (~) before and after the words or phrases you want to strike a line through e.g. ~hello~
Twitter inc. is making several changes that will affect its users in a good way. While the 140 character limit has stayed a major reason for its popularity, it was originally set for use with text messaging or SMS service.
Twitter had earlier considered raising the tweet limit to 10000 characters, but the company realizes that the length of the tweets has majorly been the reason for the popularity of the now “trend” network.
Now, however the company is planning to exclude the media and links attached from the counted characters in the tweets. this will free up more space for actual wordage.
Twitter is also, much like facebook, betting big on video and live video streams that will help generate not only new users but large revenue.
A new report originating from the LA Times claims that while Apple and FBI were taking matters to court and creating a public issue over iOS privacy. Los Angeles police investigators obtained a method to open a locked iPhone 5s.
The LAPD was able to unlock and access information on the iPhone 5s which belonged to April Jace, wife of actor Michael Jace, accused in her killing at their South L.A. home in 2014.
The report mentions that LAPD found a “forensic cellphone expert” who could “override the locked iPhone function,”. There is no other information on how the iPhone was actually unlocked and it looks like only those involved will know the actual details of the case.
While the FBI managed to do this with a foreign third party organization, the appearance of a sum of US $ 1 Million which was paid for the obtaining the crack of the iPhone 5c in the San Bernardino case. It is also unknown what the version of iOS on the iPhone 5S which was unlocked by LAPD was, if similar the same “forensic cellphone expert” could have been used by the FBI and saved the US $ 1 MillionCould it be the infamous Siri bypass?

In the near future wearable tech, not watches and glasses, but the tech that you wear right on your skin may become something that we take for granted. However, we might be headed in that direction sooner than expected. University of Tokyo researchers have developed an optoelectronic skin whose polymer LEDs and organic photodetectors are thin enough to directly slap onto your skin. This 3 Micrometer thin display at the moment doesn’t do much more than tell your blood oxygen concentration levels.
This 3 Micrometer thin display at the moment doesn’t do much more than tell your blood oxygen concentration levels. The current prototype is a little rough and requires a lot of refinement, however it the display can be crumpled and stretches without affecting output result and may make for a great first step in finding a true wearable display skin in the near future.
Thin-film electronics intimately laminated onto the skin imperceptibly equip the human body with electronic components for health-monitoring and information technologies. When electronic devices are worn, the mechanical flexibility and/or stretchability of thin-film devices helps to minimize the stress and discomfort associated with wear because of their conformability and softness. For industrial applications, it is important to fabricate wearable devices using processing methods that maximize throughput and minimize cost. We demonstrate ultraflexible and conformable three-color, highly efficient polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) and organic photodetectors (OPDs) to realize optoelectronic skins (oe-skins) that introduce multiple electronic functionalities such as sensing and displays on the surface of human skin. The total thickness of the devices, including the substrate and encapsulation layer, is only 3 ?m, which is one order of magnitude thinner than the epidermal layer of human skin. By integrating green and red PLEDs with OPDs, we fabricate an ultraflexible reflective pulse oximeter. The device unobtrusively measures the oxygen concentration of blood when laminated on a finger. On-skin seven-segment digital displays and color indicators can visualize data directly on the body.

Apple’s Annual Developer Conference will run from June 2nd to 6th in San Francisco
Apple has just announced that its annual World Wide Developer Conference has been scheduled for the 2nd of June through 6th in San Francisco. To mix things around the company will now select attendees randomly instead of a first-come-first-served basis.
If you are a developer, you probably already got the email to register your account for a lucky draw to be able to attend the WWDC 2014. We can expect to see all of the latest iOS 8 madness alongside the next OS X developments, maybe even the elusive iWatch and Apple iTV that we have been long hearing rumors of.
Apple was recently in the news as the company is in talks to buy Renesas Electronics Corporation, a unit that designs liquid crystal display chips for iPhones for about ¥50 billion, Apple is expected to complete the stake purchase by summer.
