Motorola prepping 2 Xoom Tablets the first Tablet Revision – Images Leaked

Motorola was expected to re-launch a beefed up version of the Xoom Tablet (which failed to do well), especially since its epic takeover news first hit us. The new versions of the Tablet have been roaming around on the iter-webs for sometime. But now, folks from engadget have got their hands on some real interesting images that suggest that there are, not one but two Xoom Tablets all set to be released.

The devices are presumably as thin as the iPhone 4 at just 9.3mm, the devices will come equipped to handle next-gen LTE networks. Android 3.2 and five-megapixel HD cameras on the rear.

Boeing 787s to have Android tablets for in-flight entertainment

Whats beter than a mass of Android tablets being put to good use by the big folks at Boeing. The aerospace company has exclusively selected Google’s mobile OS as the might behind its new class of 787 Dreamliners’ in-flight entertainment.

Fitted with 10-17inch Panasonic screens, more than 800 of these aircrafts are currently in production, and the company is exploring alternative ways for users to interact with the devices. The touchscreen input may not be feasible since the screens may be too far for a traveller to constantly tap. Boeing is currently playing with the idea of a gesture controlled tablet device.

The S II fury is dying out in our short-love country, and people are looking for better. Some waiting for the Xiaomi and Micromax A85 to save their money. • Google’s Nexus Prime to be the first next-gen Android handset

Google’s Nexus Prime to be the first next-gen Android handset

Yes, you heard right – Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich build is going to debut on a new handset titled the Google Nexus Prime, in an attempt to return the Nexus to the glory it had hoped for originally.

Okay, it’s not a hard challenge for Google given that who gets Android first is largely its choice, but given that it’s made by Samsung, an Apple rival whose competition for the Tablet Throne has been somewhat intensified given the recent injunction on Galaxy Tab sales in Germany, this could be a power play to help increase Android’s market share even further.

Android has a major advantage over iOS, in that it’s not limited to a small range of handsets. In fact, most modern smartphones are running a version of Android, and this allows Google to reach even further into the Apple userbase to tempt people away from a platform that may offer more apps, but is very expensive and devoid of Flash capability.

If you’re not keen on owning a Nexus Prime, however, then fear not – there’ll soon be a range of phones boasting the ability to use Ice Cream Sandwich, and Google are working with the community to ensure that everyone gets their hands on it regardless of phone model, age, or carrier.

All that remains is to review the Nexus Prime itself – although given Google’s recent acquisition of Motorola Mobility, it’s likely that the tech we’ll be seeing will be impressive, to say the least.
