Apple’s big WWDC 2016 announcement is hours away, and the Cupertino giant has a lot up its sleeve. The company is expected to launch and announce several improvements to its software products and also possibly upgrade some hardware.
Apple is serious about making Siri better, not only by making it more open but also more connected. While Google showed off some major improvements at Google IO, Amazon has also been working on Alexa which has left users excited about what next to expect.
However, with Siri being the most used assistant globally, thanks to Apple’s tight control, opening up to select third parties may be next on the agenda.
Apple will rename Mac OS X to MacOS to continue its naming system across the board. The next in line is expected to be MacOS Fuji according to rumors. Apple is expected to make the seamlessness between iOS and MacOS smoother and sharing of files is expected to improve even though AirDrop is considered the best file sharing system.
Apple will announce, and launch the developer preview of iOS 10. iOS 10 is expected to include major improvements across the board. Newer design and graphics overlay, improvements to apps and functionality and better multitasking.
Apple may announce, or quietly upgrade the Macbook Pro to newer hardware, improved chipsets, However, Apple’s next-generation MacBook Pros are expected to include an OLED touch panel that will replace the function keys on the existing MacBook Pro . Apple may hold off launching these new Macbooks at a separate event.
Apart from a possible design revamp the Apple Watch 2 might also include a larger size, up to 47mm. Apple will also add functionality to straps by allowing third party developers to include large batteries which will sit on the straps and allow for much longer battery life, up to a week. Samsung has tied up with the sequel of Injustice: Gods Among Us to launch a limited edition Batman styled Galaxy S7 Edge, and called it the Injustice Edition.
However, the phone is presently for sale only in Malaysia and will go on preorder on 17th June 2016, 10AM local Malaysia time.
The Phone will come with a Black edition Galaxy VR, A Serialized Galaxy S7 Edge with Bat Logo in Gold. A Back cover “Injustice Edition” and downloads and free content, we are guessing game related.
The Phone will cost RM 4099 (That is Malaysian Ringgit) which is roughly Rs. 67500. Which seems fair for a limited edition phone. We hope that other parts of the world get to see this phone, if not and if you really want one, expect to pay twice on eBay from Malaysia.

Apple’s investments in the hundreds of megawatts of solar projects for powering its server farms and offices is apparently generating more electricity than the company can use. Apple has set up a new business called Apple Energy with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to sell power on wholesale markets.
Apple has announced its plans for significant investments in solar projects throughout the US, and this will only help generate more electricity for the energy company.
Apple claims that they generate enough electricity to recover 93% of its usage worldwide. The company also has investments in hydroelectric, biogas, and geothermal power, will buy green energy from the grid when and if needed.
Apple may not be looking to convert this into its main business and call it iPower, however, it seems that they can sell back to the grid and get rid of any surplus they may not need. Apple had earlier this year shown $ 1.5 Billion in green investments, and major initiatives to improve recycling and impact on the planet.

The Indian Government has halted plans from Google to put Indian cities, tourists spots, hills, and rivers in an application in which one can explore through 360-degree, panoramic and street-level images.
According to the security agencies and home ministry, these pictures can be used for planning of terrorist attacks that might ultimately lead to events like those in 2008 that took place in Mumbai.
Street view, which was earlier just launched as a test in the US is now showcasing 360-degree panoramic views to include locations on all seven continents, covering 65 plus countries and has travelled seven million plus miles.
Google has often run into trouble with their Maps platform, in countries that take privacy, including many in the EU. In Germany, homeowners can log into street view and blur their homes.
Google with the Archaeological Survey of India has already added their street view to the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Varanasi river bank, Nalanda University, Mysore Palace, Thanjavur Temple, Chinnaswamy Stadium besides others in partnership with the Archaeological Society of India.
But now, the Government of India has blocked Google from going ahead with Street View due to fear of potential terrorist attacks. However, if the fear of terrorism holds back progress, then terrorism at a certain level has already been achieved.

Modular is the new, now that Lenovo sub-brand Moto has launched the new and highly leaked Moto Z and Moto Z Force.
The Moto Z has a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. You get 32 or 64GB of storage with SD card expansion, 13-megapixel camera with f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilization and the new fingerprint scanner that we saw in the G4 Plus. The Moto Z also gets a 2600mAh battery. The phone is super slim at just 5.2mm and light at just 136g.
The Moto Z Force upgrades the camera to a 21-megapixel, the display gets a shatterproof panel like the one on the Moto Force, and the battery gets a bump to 3,500mAh.The phone is also thicker at 7mm.
The best part about the Moto Z phones is the Mods, which can be had in a variety of materials or finishes, such as nylon, wood, or leather. The SoundBoost Mod, built in partnership with JBL, is a speaker with upgraded two three-watt drivers and adds an extra 1,000mAh of battery capacity. The Power Pack Mod adds a 2,220mAh cell to the back of the phone and is made by either Incipio, Kate Spade, or Tumi. The Insta-Share Mod adds a pico projector to the phone and lets you broadcast your phone’s display up to 70 inches wide at 480p resolution.
The Mods are plug and play and unlike the LG G5, you will not need to reboot your phone, the software comes preloaded on the Moto Z, and Moto Z force and the phone recognizes the pair instantly.
Both the Moto Z and Moto Z Force come with USB Type-C ports and without a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which now seems to be the industry standard.

Renders of the next Galaxy Note phone from Samsung not only come with the details of the design shift but also a name shift. Samsung will reportedly call the next Note device Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to make the Galaxy S and Note series phones align with the nomenclature.
According to leaks from French site Nowhereelse.fr the Galaxy Note 7 will apparently measure 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm and will also be available in an Edge variant which will replace the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus for 2016.
The renders which the site claims are true, show off a USB Type-C port which falls in line with many of the rumors in the past.
