Alleged images of the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 Pro have surfaced online. The images show the device will be available in 3 colours which are Twilight, Black and Blue. The device will run on the flagship HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset.
Design:
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro will supposedly feature a 6.3 inch screen. From the images it can be drawn that the device comes with a notch up top. Also, the rear of the device has a triple camera setup along with a dual-LED flash. The device has thin bezels on either sides and a slim chin along the bottom.

Huawei is claiming their Kirin 980 to be faster than Apple’s A12 bionic chip. The chipset uses the 7 nm manufacturing technology. Another feature called underwater mode which Huawei showcased at IFA Berlin 2018 might also make its way to the device. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro might drop the monochrome sensor and replace it with a wide-angle RGB sensor to provide with 5X zoom capabilities, according to reports.
However, precise details about device will come out on 16th October at Huawei’s launch event in London.
The past few months have been filled with leaks about the Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL. So much so that we have reached a point where the only thing which is unknown is the price at which these devices will be sold. A few weeks back, a conspiracy theory hinted that these leaks might be fake and the we might encounter an entirely different device.
Pixel 3 Back
Pixel 3 Front
However, these alleged renders of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL put that theory to rest. The renders claim to be as close as one can get to the real device. We can see that the bigger Pixel 3 XL will sport a notch. Thhe Pixel 3 will continue to have a conventional design with thick bezels on the top and bottom. They also change their colour depending on the time of the day, according to the user.
The same user also gave us another bunch of images of the alleged Pixel 3 XL and also pointed out the device has a glass back and a SIM tray at the bottom.
So here is another look at the Pixel 3 XL exclusively from me! According to the source, the device features a frosted glass back with kinda plastic sides (could be metal with some coating). Also has a SIM Tray at the bottom.#Google#GooglePixel3#Pixel3XL#Pixel3pic.twitter.com/ocEKb5QoW2

This leaves us with two possible smartphones which might be launched, the Nokia 7.1 Plus or the Nokia 9 flagship device.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is set to make its global debut soon and the device has popped up on various websites and forums. Recent leaks have also given us a good look a the device. It is highly unlikely that we might see the Nokia 9 device so soon. This is because of the possible delay in production and also the fact that the Nokia 8 Sirocco was launched earlier this year and is the current flagship for Nokia as of now. If we do see the Nokia 9 this year, it will be a great surprise.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is set to be the successor to the popular Nokia 7 device which was launched earlier this year. The leaked renders do show us some external design changes which set it aside from the previous device. The Nokia 7.1 Plus has a notch, unlike its predecessor but sports a similar chin. The chin also houses the Nokia branding. The device also has a rear fingerprint scanner and a dual camera setup with a Zeiss lens. It also has the Android One branding on its back.

The Apple iPhone XR is not yet available on sale, lacks certain features compared to the other two and is still proving to be the most popular out of the three iPhones launched recently. The device is the cheapest of the bunch and does lack some features when compared to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. However, industry sources report that Apple is ramping up production for the same.
The device will go on sale on 26th October. Apple has reportedly pushed the production up to 20 million units. iPhone XR orders have been revised upward to over 50 % and the demand will continue to rise, according to experts. Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo had earlier stated that the sales of the iPhone XS will be lower than expected and that the iPhone XR will account for 50-60 % of shipments of the new iPhones.
It is no surprise that the device has become a hit, compared to the other two. Starting off, it is the most affordable out of the three phones. The iPhone XR has a price tag which starts at Rs 76,900 in India while the iPhone XS starts at Rs 99,000 and the iPhone XS Max starts at Rs 1,09,900.
Apart from this, the device has a 6.1 inch screen which is bigger than the iPhone XS, reportedly preferred by most users. The device also resonates as a more reasonable choice with consumers who want to upgrade from their iPhone 6 or iPhone 7 series.

The device is available in two variants. It has a 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variant with 128 GB of internal storage. These variants are priced at CNY 3199 and CNY 3599 which are around Rs 33,703 and Rs 37,755 respectively. The Mi 8 Lite carries a lesser array of features as the name suggests. The device is available in three variants. It has a 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage variant and a 6 GB RAM with 64 GB/ 128 GB of storage. The devices costs CNY 1,399, CNY 1,699 and CNY 1,999 which is around Rs 14,691, Rs 17,842 and Rs 20,992 respectively.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Specs:
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro has a 6.21 inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The display has a notch and a resolution of 2248 x 1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The OnePlus 6T will have a dual camera setup, contrary to rumours which reported it will have a triple camera setup. The latest leak also shows that the device will sport a taller display. The device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner as confirmed by the company earlier.
The 6.4 inch screen will have a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display will also have a smaller, water drop notch as compared to the OnePlus 6. The device will also be a millimetre or two taller than the OnePlus 6.
Despite the fact that the OnePlus 6T has a similar dual camera setup, the camera performance will obviously be bumped up. The triple camera setup might be held back for the OnePlus 7. The device might implement AI functionality to combat the other devices in its segment. Under the hood, the device will carry a better and bigger battery, according to reports. Along with this, better optimisation might give extended battery life as well.
OnePlus is not expected to upgrade the chipset with the new OnePlus 6T, according to reports. The RAM options will also remain the same but we could expect a boost in the memory segment. With more and more flagship devices offering 512 GB variants, OnePlus might not stay behind. The device will not have a headphone jack.
Other expected features include wireless charging and water resistance. Since the OnePlus 6 was only ‘splash proof’ this upgrade would be nice. Along with this, the other change in terms of design will be the absence of a physical fingerprint scanner.
Launch:
The release of the OnePlus 6T will be in October, close to the launch of the Pixel 3 devices. The device is already being teased on Amazon, which means it will be an Amazon exclusive, as always.
