Well first off it began with asking for full access and if you don’t give full access you can’t use it. (Possibly out of your $1.99 if your lazy enough to ask for refund) It reads it will not store any info you type but yet when you click full access it reads it will save all info. Including credit card information :|. The emoji design themselves are great, they couldn’t be more perfect for her. I do wish they were a bit smaller like the original emojis. The keyboard crashed or just didn’t appear the first time I tried using it. I had to delete and reinstall. Every so often it will appear blank, no emojis will pop up only the letters keyboard. I think over all it’s a great idea but room for improvements

Either way, there are still a lot of Kardashian fans that would love to get these “Kimojis” in play. Sigh!

Finland Becomes the First Country to Have ‘Naked’ Emoji

Finland has surpassed the rest of the world when it comes to trendsetting now. Just when emoji were becoming commonplace and kind of old, Finland comes along and creates its own emoji that make the traditional ones look pretty lame.

A naked couple enjoying sauna, a Nokia phone, and a headbanging heavy metal fan are the first three official national emoji of Finland. Why these three? Well, the Finnish or Finns love a nice, hot sauna, they’re proud of their ‘unbreakable’ Nokia 3310, and they trip on heavy metal. Their official names are ‘the Sauna,’ ‘the Unbreakable,’ and ‘the Headbanger’.

EmojiWorks Creates the World’s First Emoji Keyboard

We are all aware how important emoticons are nowadays. Nobody wants to type ‘okay’ anymore, just a thumbs up emoticon will do. The process is supposed to save time, but we still have to press an extra key to open our emoji options. These troubles will however soon be in the past, because EmojiWorks has debuted its first hardware based emoji keyboard. So now, with the help of a built-in shortcut, you can immediately just type in your preferred emoji.

    Emoji keyboard

Design wise it looks like an Apple keyboard with emoji symbols and each key has an emoji along with a character. Just like the shift key we use in order to type in a letter in capitals, there is an additional ’emoji’ button which you need to press in order to insert the specific emoji.

    Emoji Button

EmojiWorks has been very careful so as to include all your favourite emoji, including the poop emoji. They also claim that the emoji keyboard is up to 10 times faster than a standard keyboard and is Bluetooth enabled; this feature in turn makes it compatible with Mac and iOS devices. The only con that comes with this keyboard is that it cannot be customized as it comes pre-printed with emoji on the keys along with pre-programmed emoji shortcuts. Here is a short video:

  • New iOS 9 Update Brings Tons of New Emojis, Live Photos Improvements

New iOS 9 Update Brings Tons of New Emojis, Live Photos Improvements

It’s about time you got an emoji that lets you ‘flip the bird’. Wait, let’s rephrase that. It’s about time you got some new ways to express while messaging. Apple has released it’s latest iOS 9.1 update that comes with two major features.

    IMG_0035

The first is related to Live Photos. Live Photos will now be able to sense when you move your hand higher or lower, and will ignore the movements.

The second new feature is a lot more exciting. The latest updates brings over 150 new emoji characters which include taco, burrito, cheese wedge, money eyes, and the middle finger. Yes, you read that right. There is now an emoji that lets you send a middle finger to anyone if you find yourself unable to express your feelings through the word.

There is a catch, though. The new emojis can be sent only to those who have updated to the iOS 9.1. So, non-iOS users and iOS users still on the older version will not know when you’re giving them the finger. Some would say there is a certain evil joy in that too.

Apart from these changes, iOS 9.1 includes new features and compatibility updates for upcoming Apple products like the fourth-generation Apple TV and the iPad Pro. The new Apple TV requires iOS 9.1 for setting up. The new update also fixes a lot of bugs such as unresponsive Calendar, issues with Game Center and some issues with Mail search, among other things.

In case you haven’t already updated your iPhone to the new iOS 9.1 update, you can do so now. For those who don’t know how to get it done, simply head over to Setting > General > Software Updates and hit on ‘Download and Install’. You can also connect your device to the computer and update via iTunes. Once installed, play around with all the new emojis and show some love to your friends by sending them the finger.

WhatsApp has introduced a couple of new emojis for its users. The new emoji includes the middle finger and the Vulcan Salute from Star Wars. Both these emoji are available in different skin tones within the app. While the middle-finger emoji seems Android-only for now, the Vulcan emoji is also supported on iOS, though it is not part of the stock emoji keyboard.

WhatsApp has recently upgraded itself and comes with a bunch of new features. Among them, is a new custom notification setting that allows you to set different notifications for the different chats you’re in or mute specific conversations entirely.

You can also mark your chats as read or unread and WhatsApp has even included an “low data” usage feature to make voice calls. This reduces the amount of data that is used during phone calls made through the app.

Apart from all of this WhatsApp has also made sharing contact information easier, by allowing you to save the information or even start a new WhatsApp message from within the app itself.

  • Decoded : Snapchat’s Recent “Emoji” Update

Decoded : Snapchat’s Recent “Emoji” Update

Snapchat has launched a key update that allows you to recognize your closest friends based on a complex tier system of emojis. Previously, anyone could visit your Snapchat profile and check out who you sent the most number of snaps to. Hence, friendships would be questioned if a person did not appear in the ‘Best Friend’ list.

The app ditched the Best Friend feature in January, and now they are back with a new personal way to see who you’re closest to. The new Friend Emojis on your screen of incoming snaps will only be visible to you. Next to some of your Snapchat friends’ names, you will see an emoji that indicates the status of your photo-sharing friendship. Here is how the new Snapchat emoji looks like:

    SNAPCHAT EMOJI

    • Gold Heart: You are the #1 Best Friend. This is the person to whom you send the most number of snaps, and they snap back at you the most too.
    • Grimace/Grit Teeth: A Mutual #1 Best Friend: You send the most snaps to the same person that they do.
    • Smile: One of your Best Friends: One of the people to whom you exchange snaps the most after your Best Friend.
    • Sunglasses: One of your best friends is one of their best friends: One person to whom you snap the most is also the person another friend snaps the most.
    • Smirk: You are their Best Friend but they are not yours: You don’t send them many snaps, but they send you a lot.
    • Fire: You two are on a Snapstreak: You have snapped this person every day, and they have snapped you back. Increases with number of consecutive days.

Snapchat has also bought in some technical changes that include a new low-light mode for your phone camera, simply by clicking on the Moon icon on the top of the screen. Also, a new bracket has been added- friends who have not snapped in a while will fall under the category of ‘Needs Love’.
