Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Gets Multiplayer Mode

A couple of months ago, Activision the publisher behind the famous Call of Duty franchise announced its latest iterations. The new game is being called Call of Duty Modern Warfare which is a reboot of the original trilogy that was beloved by gamers. The original trailer that was revealed had seen the return of the series favourite Captain Price. Since then, a lot of hype has garnered for what people call, ” the game that will revive the Call of Duty games again.”

Now, Infinity Ward, the original developer behind one of the most popular first-person shooter game has dropped a new trailer and unveiled a new multiplayer game mode.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is a boots to the ground iteration of the popular franchise. It means that the game will no longer have its premise based on either the second World War or some sci-fi futuristic world; a theme common with the past iterations of the video game. The latest entry in the series will rather focus on the ‘Ugly Truth’ of war. A primary focus of the game will be the implications of global violence, terrorism as well as personal impact on the characters. Players are no longer simply in the shoes of a badass military character, but one with emotional depth and a sense of morality.

    Multiplayer: Gunfight

The first trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare arrived on 30th May and revealed the first look of the game in all its glory. Now, Infinity Ward has uploaded the first look of its new multiplayer game mode on YouTube. Gunfight is the latest game mode to be incorporated in the game and will feature a 2 versus 2 man quick play style of gameplay. Team of 2s need to eliminate the enemy teams to win a round and the first to 6 wins the game. The game features small maps that are long in length but narrow in width. It’s a symmetrical map with both teams spawning on either end; players have about 3 routes from which they can attack the opposing team.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Trailer Reverts The Series Back To Its Roots

We get dirty, so that the World stays clean

Activision’s vision of a game closer to reality has never looked so good, as showcased in the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reveal trailer that was released on May 30, 2019. The franchise can be deemed nothing less than legendary, and while the reviews of the previous iterations of the game have been dwindling in quality, Modern Warfare aims to take the player back to the roots.

Call of Duty: Modern WarfareThe trailer is centred around the ‘golden’ CoD character, Captain John Price, who is one of the more prominent faces of the franchise. It is expected that other characters such as John “Soap” MacTavish and Derek “Frost” Westbrook will also make an appearance in the reboot. The trailer showcases scenarios that are heavily relatable to the current state of the world in some cases. Terrorism and bio-chemical wars are just two of the threats that were poised in the trailer.

Call of Duty: Modern WarfareOne significant fact is the return of the original developers, Infinity Ward  back to the franchise. As per reports, the core developer and design teams working on the game (including developers from Naughty Dog) are focusing on the emotional impact that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can have on the players. Infinity Ward co-head stated that the story designers will aim to be sensitive and edgy at the same time. Since the game is based on real world headlines and events, it is expected to feature psychological warfare along with dictating villains and a rich dose of violence.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
The trailer further reveals that the storyline of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can be experienced from two separate perspectives. The player can play as a lethal Tier-1 Marine with a complete set of weapons and equipment, or he can play as a freedom fighter in the Middle-eastern region. Similar to the previous games, the players can call in airstrikes, perks and care packages to strengthen their position.

Furthermore, more information regarding the gameplay and the game itself is expected to be revealed at the E3 2019, which will start June 11 onwards. And we can all hope to catch some more glimpses of old characters from the previous Modern Warfare games, because the end of the trailer packs a clue too obvious to ignore.

Sonic The Hedgehog Director Claims Changes Will Be Made To Design Of The Main Character

The known studio Paramount and legendary gaming company Sega released the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie on the 30th of April. The film stars the beloved Sonic, a blue hedgehog who is bestowed with the power of superspeed. While the character has been a part of various video games and animated series in the past, to the creator’s surprise, the trailer for the movie was met with disappointing glares and negative reviews.

The fans of the games and animated series made on the beloved character demanded a change in the look and design of Sonic. In a recent tweet, the director of the movie Jeff Fowler claimed that the studio will improve and enhance the design of Sonic before the film is released in November.

    Sonic the Hedgehog

The announcement was made on microblogging website Twitter as mentioned above. The director of Sonic the Hedgehog movie, Jeff Fowler thanked the fans of the Sonic franchise for their support and criticism surrounding the trailer. He also claimed the Paramount studio and Sega have decided to change the design of the main character as requested by many fans. The trailer is set against the legendary “Gangsta’s Paradise” soundtrack, which would have actually enhanced the trailer hadn’t it been for the kid-hedgehog combo leading the movie. Sonic The Hedgehog is scheduled to make its way to movie theatres on November 8, 2019. However, because of the changes, the release date may be further pushed into the future.

  • Sonic The Hedgehog Trailer Released, Sonic’s Appearance Leaves Fans Disappointed

Sonic The Hedgehog Trailer Released, Sonic’s Appearance Leaves Fans Disappointed

Sonic the hedgehog is definitely a name 90s kids can relate to. SEGA revolutionized the 8-bit gaming industry with a lot of games, and Sonic the Hedgehog was one of the major ones. The game featured a super-powered hedgehog which has a host of abilities. For starters, he can run faster than the speed of sound. This enables him to break and smash through all obstacles in his path. What’s more, the loveable character could also curl up into a destructive ball, which is nearly unstoppable. The character has almost 70 games to himself now, and on April 30 2019, Paramount Pictures and SEGA released the first trailer for the much-awaited movie.

Now the fans were waiting for this movie eagerly, so a lot of expectations were resting on it. On top of that, the bar is still set high from all the movie fanatics still reeling in the aftermath of action and emotions present in Avengers: Endgame. However, when the trailer came out, the Sonic fans were disappointed to say at the least. To put forward a summary, the official Youtube trailer for the movie has a Dislike-to-Like ratio of 1.55. That’s a awfully high number of dislikes for a movie that a lot of fan following, especially before the trailer dropped.

Sonic has been awkwardly designed as a “human-hedgehog” fusion creature, which is more human than it is supposed to be. The trailer tries desperately to make Sonic more at home with all the humanoid expressions and actions. What’s more, the character from the movie has a set of extremely human-like teeth, which deprive Sonic of his classic “hedgehog” look. It’s almost like the movie is not Sonic The Hedgehog. It’s either Sonic The HedgeHuman or Sonic The HumanHog.

Dora can be seen guiding her friends through a series of adventures through forests and unknown lands. Dora’s faithful monkey, Boots also makes appearances throughout the trailer.

  • 5 Latest Movie Trailers You Should Not Miss

5 Latest Movie Trailers You Should Not Miss

The movie hype is on an all time high, with some great movies releasing in the upcoming months. The first few months of 2019 gave way to some amazing trailers for movies like the Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Movie critics are calling 2019 a huge year for movie releases, simply because a lot of big titles are on the line. Given below is a list of the top five recent trailers, which will leave movie fanatics wanting for more.

    1. Detective Pikachu

Pokemon fans will know what it’s like to witness a live action Pokemon movie, and that too, a movie with the majority of attention directed at the all time favourite character, Pikachu. The trailer was faced with mixed reviews, where some people disliked the fact that the ‘cute’ voice of the Pokemon was replaced with a human’s voice. But when most of those fans realized that the “human” is none other than the beloved actor Ryan Reynolds, all griefs were put to rest. Warner Brothers just dropped the second trailer for the movie, showing a “caffeine addicted” Pikachu and Justice Smith as Tim. To fans amazement, the trailer also features the legendary Pokemon, Mewtwo in all its glory.

The movie is scheduled for release on May 10, 2019.

    2. Dark Phoenix

The last X-Men movie came out in 2016, titled X-Men Apocalypse. The climax of the movie showed Sophie Turner unleash her full potential, and eventually put a stop to the impending apocalypse. Dark Phoenix will  reveal the (obvious) dark side of the most powerful mutant in the team. The trailer shows all the X-Men grouping together to save their own teammate. The movie features James McAvoy, Sophie Turner, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and Jessica Chastain (who’s playing the negative side).

Dark Phoenix will hit the theatres on June 7, 2019.

    3. Hellboy (2019)

The Hellboy franchise saw Ron Perlman playing the “good demon” and fans were instantly hooked to the series. After the release of Hellboy: The Golden Army in 2008, Lionsgate Movies announced the Hellboy reboot trailer on December 19, 2018. The follow up trailer was released on February 28, 2019 and promises much more than the previous movies – quirky jokes, monsters fighting monsters and huge swords. It can’t get better than this.

Hellboy is releasing on April 12, 2019

    4. Spider-Man: Far From Home

A lot of fans were disheartened when they saw (SPOILER!) Peter Parker crumble away to dust in the wake of the Avengers: Infinity war. However, when they saw their favourite character come back to life in the new Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser Trailer, the hype was back on the track. And the fact that Tom Holland will get to play Spiderman in another movie is an indication that (SPOILER – 2) the dead Avengers will eventually be resurrected in the upcoming Avengers movie.

Watch Spiderman: Far From Home swing to theatres on July 5, 2019.

    5. Frozen 2

Also Read: Twitch VS Youtube: Which Platform Should You Start Streaming On?

Disney’s Frozen was an animated musical-fantasy movie, and it earned over $1.27 billion in box office revenue post release. Walt Disney Animation Studios dropped the trailer for the sequel to Frozen on February 13, 2019, and the new teaser trailer is exactly opposite to Frozen 1 so far. It’s dark, broody and all the things that a Disney movie shouldn’t be, but it manages to pull it off equally magnificently. Not a lot was revealed in the trailer, but it was every bit as “intriguing” as a teaser could be. With some amazing music scores similar to “Let it Go”, the movie may provide a dark turn to events from the first movie.

Frozen 2 will debut in Theatres on November 22, 2019.

  • Who Is Thanos And What Are The Six Infinity Stones?

Who Is Thanos And What Are The Six Infinity Stones?

The latest Avengers: Infinity War trailer has extremely hyped up the upcoming movie. The Avengers franchise has so far had the core members playing a pivotal role. But, the new trailer gives a glimpse of what happens when the whole MCU is condensed into one film. From Guardians of the Galaxy to Spider-Man to Dr Strange, everyone made an appearance in the trailer. While the last Avengers film had the superheroes battle Ultron, this time around Thanos will be in the epicentre. So, who is Thanos and what are the 6 Infinity Stones he keeps rambling about?

    Who is Thanos?

For the first time, Thanos was teased in The Avengers, which was released in 2012. In fact, he had a cameo in “Guardians of the Galaxy” as well. He was born with a malformation, which explains his oversized body. Thanos also goes by the name “Mad Titan,” because he was born on Saturn’s moon, Titan. Three things that Thanos preys on are power, death and killing.

Due to his oversized body, he has a rancour against the remaining universe.  He rules the alien race Chitauri that invaded the earth in the first Avengers movie. As he is eternal, he has many super strengths. He has a skin which is impervious to heat, cold, electricity, and radiation. In fact, it can also withstand a psychic attack.

    Thanos

He can shoot cosmic energy from his eyes and hands. On top of that, he is cursed by death to be “immortal”. It will be very interesting to see the plans made by Avengers to stop Mad Titan.

    The Six Infinity Stones

In the trailer, Thanos has a golden glove on his left hand, with six grills. According to Marvel Comics, the glove is called the Infinity Gauntlet, which has the space to house the six infinity stones. Those who possess those six infinity stones will gain infinite power. In fact, the six stone’s alternate name spells Thanos (Tesseract, Aether, Orb, and Scepter). Also, Dr Strange has one Infinity Stone in his necklace.

    Thanos

The Infinity Stones were formed when the universe exploded into existence and parts of the universe were intensified into six infinity stones.

    • Tesseract is a space stone, which can teleport anything from one point of the universe to another point in no time
    • Aether is a reality stone, that can attach to the host to make him stronger
    • Orb is a power stone, which can give superhuman strength to the heir of the stone
    • Vision is a stone that can let the heir control others mind
    • Soul stone can trap souls inside it
    • Time stone manipulates the time

  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Arrives: “The Force is Calling to You…Just Let It In.”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Arrives: “The Force is Calling to You…Just Let It In.”

We can barely control the giddiness that has just erupted over the third and potentially final trailer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The excitement has never been more real. The internet is literally breaking over the latest trailer, and there are plenty of reasons for it. The new footage premiered during halftime on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

If you’re still reading and haven’t already jumped to the end and hit play, the new trailer has some huge moments – both in action and scenery. The trailer sheds more light on new characters like Finn (John Boyega) and Rey (Daisy Ridley), and new antagonist, Kylo Ren (played by Adam Driver) – who seems to be carrying forward Darth Vader’s legacy. You can clearly see Kylo Ren talking to the salvaged helmet of Darth Vader, saying, “I will finish what you started”. The third trailer still has no signs of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), though we did hear him speak in the previous trailer. This time, we get to see Han Solo (Harrison Ford) speak a few new lines, and oh, how we love each and every word of it: “The Dark Side, the Jedi, they’re real.” And that really is all a fan needs to hear.

    Official poster
    Official Poster

Clocking in at two and a half minutes, this trailer is perhaps the best look at what you can expect from the movie. We see Rey with her BB-8 droid on the planet Jakku. Her character is still a mystery and the trailers so far haven’t revealed much, but that hasn’t stopped fans everywhere coming up with possible theories as to who she might be. One of the more popular opinions suggest that Rey belongs to the Skywalker family. Whether she is the daughter of Han and Leia (Carrie Fisher) or if she’s Luke Skywalker’s own is still uncertain.

You also see the Millennium Falcon show off some new moves that will bring tears and nostalgia in buckets. And when the Millennium Falcon jumps to lightspeed, the goosebumps begin. We can go on and dissect every scene of the trailer, but instead we’ll stop here and let you go ahead and watch the trailer cause,”the Force is calling to you…just let it in.”

    J. J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theaters December 18th.

  • The New Steve Jobs Trailer Is Here

The New Steve Jobs Trailer Is Here

There is one movie that has been on our minds since we heard about it first; yes, we’re talking about the new Steve Jobs movie. This movie comes with a lot of heavy names from showbiz, with Aaron Sorkin, acclaimed script writer with movies like the Social Network in his kitty, then they have Danny Boyle of Slumdog Billionaire acclaim as the director, and guess who’s playing Steve Jobs himself? Michael Fassbender. You’ll know him as Magneto, but he’s also done some great work with Quentin Tarantino and Steve McQueen. Oh, and he’s also going to be the new Macbeth soon.

We could go on with the big names in this film, but I’m going to leave that for the trailer that you can watch here:

This is the official trailer, but there have been other earlier trailers which seemed to have focused on different things than the official one. The final trailer focuses on his relationship with his daughter more than his genius, it seems to show him as a much more nuanced character than just being a complex genius. The film promises a lot with great reviews after its screening at the Telluride Film festival this year. Of course, there will be comparisons to the previous Jobs film, but then again even on the most shallow grounds of criticism you know who would emerge as the winner between Ashton Kutcher and Michael Fassbender.

Steve Wozniak himself is quoted saying “I felt like I was watching Steve Jobs,” while Fassbender’s co-actors have commented on his almost creepy transformation into Steve Jobs. We will know whether it’ll all pay off once the movie releases on the 9th of October 2015.

  • The New Full-length Bond Trailer is Here

The New Full-length Bond Trailer is Here

The full-length version of the new film ‘Spectre’ directed by Sam Mendes, that is part of the James Bond franchise, has been released. The film is rumoured to be the biggest and most expensive Bond movie till date. The trailer opens with M (being played by Ralph Fiennes aka Lord Voldemort) questioning Bond about his unofficial and controversial trip to Mexico City for which he gets a typical Bond-like response “I was on a vacation”.

Instantly, one gets the new Bond vibe that Daniel Craig has so effortlessly created.

    Bond Cast Poster

The trailer seems to have all the ingredients of a successful Bond film – exotic locations in Mexico, fast cars, witty dialogues, a Bond-like story and a stellar cast. But we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves. Sam Mendes has returned with Spectre and the trailer sees Bond going rogue to infiltrate a secret organization called Spectre. This movie is also expected to tie up lose ends from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, especially where Bond villain Mr. White (Jesper Christensen) is concerned and deals with Bond’s past.

The star studded cast sees Daniel Craig reprising the role of James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Christoph Waltz as the new villain (perhaps the only one who can compete with Javier Bardem),the underrated but absolutely brilliant, Ben Wishaw as Q, and of course, the new Bond girl Monica Bellucci. The film also stars Naomie Harris,Léa Seydoux and Andrew Scott (from Sherlock fame).

Dates for a worldwide release have not been announced although Spectre releases in the UK first on October 26, 2015 and in the U.S. on November 6, 2015.

Are these ingredients enough to make Spectre as smart and riveting as Skyfall? Watch the trailer below and let us know.
