The company is all set to launch the Galaxy M30, and new leaks confirm previously known specs.
Galaxy M30 Specifications
The smartphone measures 159mm x 75.1mm x 8.4mm and weighs in at 175 grams. It has a 6.38-inch display that has a resolution of 2220 x 1080 px.

According to the source, the Galaxy M30, like the Galaxy M20 is powered by a massive 5,000 mAh battery. In terms of memory and storage, the device has 4 GB of LPDDR4x high-speed RAM and 64 GB of eMMC inbuilt storage. Like the M10 and M20, it is also assumed to support memory expandability up to 512 GB via a microSD card.
Unfortunately, Samsung has not announced the launch date of the Galaxy M30. The smartphone is expected to launch before the end of Q1 of 2019. Sources close to iGyaan have said that the phone will be available in March soon after the Galaxy S10 launch in India.
Qualcomm has announced the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Mobile Platform. With performance boosts and support for the all-new Quick Charge, Snapdragon 712 is may end up being used for mid market gaming devices.
Performance Boosts
The Snapdragon 712 retains the 10nm process of its predecessor and runs the multicore Qualcomm AI Engine. It consists of the Qualcomm Kryo 360 CPU, the Adreno 616 graphic unit, and the Qualcomm Hexagon 685 DSP. Talking about performance increase, the 712 offers up to 10 percent of more power over the Snapdragon 710.
Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon 712 is designed for mid budget gaming devices. It also claims that the chipset can help render over a billion shades of colors. Qualcomm’s Aqstic audio technology will be added to the chipset for seemingly better audio experience.
What Is Quick Charge 4+?
The Snapdragon 712 is targeted at improving your battery life. Now the real question that arises is how will 712 manage to do that?
It is engineered in a way that it’s heterogeneous computing structure automatically works out the perfect balance between workloads, heat management & optimization. What’s more, it also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. This means what it can bring your phone battery from 0 to 50 percent in under 15 minutes.
More Features
Snapdragon 712 has a ton of other enhanced features that already were present in the Snapdragon 710. It integrates the Qualcomm Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem. Qualcomm claims this offers almost double download speeds with LTE Advanced Capability.
The new chipset offers video noise reduction and the Snapdragon 712 understands your settings and adapts to them, so you don’t have to lose battery over it.
Will the Snapdragon 712 be the next big mobile platform especially in the Low-mid market? With all the performance boosts and AI development, it sure looks that way. And the Quick Charge 4+ is a welcome add-on.

It is a 4-person co-op shooter set in a huge sci-fi universe, where there are no limits to what you can do. With Javelin exosuits and a Mass Effect-style gameplay, you play as Freelancers.
Your primary motive is to destroy huge alien biomes, but that may be varied depending on how much fun you want to have with your friends. An interesting fact to note here is that Anthem is written by the guy who wrote Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. The demo was out for February 1 to 3 on PS4, Xbox, and PC. The game itself is releasing very soon.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
If you’ve played Tom Clancy’s The Division, you’ll probably know what we are talking about. Snow-laden streets. New York. Epidemics. Doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, but it was a huge success at the time of its launch. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of end-game content, so the hype quickly died out. Now, the determined developers at Ubisoft are ready to deliver another blow with The Division 2, the second game in the franchise.
Set in Washington DC, the game follows the same timeline as its prequel. It’s placed at almost 7 months after the events of the first game. The game has a ton of new features, including eight-player-raids, and a whole redefined game engine. Tom Clancy fans will love this, that’s for sure. But are you one of them?

Google Glass launched back in 2012 with a lot of promises. The tech that the smart glasses offered was ahead of its time but didn’t connect well with the audience. The Google Glass was a flop in the consumer market. Google then tuned the Glasses into an Enterprise model, where it found decent success. These Glasses were meant for better focus and faster completion of tasks in the workers of Enterprises. Looks like Google is all set to release the next iteration of the Glasses. Named the Google Glass 2 Enterprise Edition, these could make their way to the market soon.
This information leaked includes complete certification, prototype images, and benchmark score to prove the product is very real. The Glass 2 Enterprise Edition might make their way to the markets in the coming months.
Google Glass 2 Enterprise Edition
The Google Glass 2 Enterprise Edition was recently certified by the National Radio Research Agency(NRRA) of South Korea. This too confirms the existence of the device. The name of the device is mentioned as a “Certain small-output wireless device”. This description fits into what we know about the device.
The Geekbench scores of the Glass 2 were leaked in November last year. This listing also provides us with more details about the device. According to the Geekbench listing, The Glass 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The scores are lower than how the SoC generally performs. That may be due to the underclocked processor. The Glass 2 is listed as running on Android 8.1 Oreo. That may change when it releases as Android 9 Pie has been out for a while.
The Glass 2 is expected to bring better battery life, faster Wi-Fi speeds, improved performance, a higher resolution camera, and more as an upgrade. Google is expected to make an announcement about the Google Glass 2 Enterprise edition at any one of its events soon.
Huawei is expected to soon launch the P30 lineup of smartphones which will succeed the P20 lineup. The P20 smartphones were launched last year and were primarily targetted as camera-centric devices and similar is expected from the upcoming devices. Although news about the launch of the P30 first surfaced online in late 2018, the details about its features were lacking. A listing of the P30 and P30 Pro on a case maker’s website reveals their key features and design details.
Huawei P30 Pro and P30 Design
Both the P30 Pro and P30 have a similar design with a glass front and rear build. On the front of both devices sit a high screen-to-body ratio display with a small waterdrop notch that houses the front selfie camera. The top, left and right bezels of the smartphones are thin and almost negligible whereas the bottom bezel is comparatively thicker.
The right side of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro accommodate the power button and volume rockers while their bottom side is occupied by USB Type-C port, loudspeaker grill and main microphone pinhole. The visible difference between the two devices is the rear camera module alignment and number of sensors in it. The rear of the Huawei P30 has a triple camera setup below which sits a dual LED flash and dual microphones.
On the other hand, the rear camera setup of the Huawei P30 Pro consists of fours sensors. Also, the dual LED flash and dual microphones on the device are placed next to the protruding camera module which is unlike the P30.
Additionally, the cutouts at the bottom of the P30’s case indicate that the device will have a 3.5mm audio jack while the elder P30 Pro might skip this feature. The case maker’s website does not reveal any specifications of the smartphones. Fortunately, another source supplies this information as well.
Specifications
According to leaks, the Huawei P30 Pro will be the world’s first smartphone to feature the Sony IMX607 sensor that has a 38 MP resolution and an f/1.8 aperture. The resolution of the other three camera sensors of the smartphone is yet unavailable. Both the P30 and the P30 Pro are likely to feature the 7 nm Kirin 980 SoC which is also present on the Mate 20 Pro.
In terms of memory and storage, the top end variant of both devices will be offered with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM. Both devices are also expected to support nano SD card which is the company’s proprietary memory expansion format. The source claims that the elder P30 Pro will be powered by a mammoth 4,200 mAh battery while the P30 will pack a 3,400 mAh powerhouse.
Although Huawei has not officially announced the launch date of the P30 and P30 Pro they might be unveiled at upcoming ‘Connecting The Future’ event which is scheduled for 24 February.
OnePlus has seen unprecedented success over the last few years. The primary reason for the success would be the brand’s ideology which, has been the same since the beginning. OnePlus has always delivered on its promise of a premium experience on a budget. And it seems like the company has some big plans going forward. OnePlus has sent out media invites for an event held within closed doors at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona.
The invite reads “Join OnePlus at Ultramarinos where drinks and a taste of the future will be on us. We’ll be celebrating MWC 2019 at this exclusive, invite-only event.” It is highly unlikely that OnePlus will launch something at the event. The event is expected to be rather just a discussion about what the future holds for OnePlus and smartphones. OnePlus has held similar events in the past, during MWC, and have usually been just networking events.
What Will OnePlus Showcase At The Event?
With the launch of a completely new device or product out of the window; OnePlus is expected to show something revolutionary at the event. Considering the exclusive invite and the cryptic message alongside it, there is definitely something the brand is trying to pull off. OnePlus announced in December that it will be among the first to use the Snapdragon 855. Maybe it is the new OnePlus device they will showcase, but that seems highly unlikely. OnePlus also promised a 5G device in 2019, so it may showcase that technology at the event.
OnePlus is expected to launch the next generation of its flagship in a few months. The device is said to have an all-new design and Snapdragon 855. Maybe the event is scheduled to give people a sneak peek of the device before its official launch. OnePlus is definitely planning something big that we may see in the coming months.

The smartphone will be out in three different colours, Black, Blue & Red. The Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3 inch Full HD+ display.
The device has a waterdrop notch, and thin bezels at 1.95mm. Powered by the Snapdragon 660 with an Adreno 512 GPU, the device has a dual-camera setup. Furthermore, the smartphone has a 48MP + 5MP camera and a 13 MP selfie camera. Redmi Note 7 packs a 4000 mAh battery, with Quick Charge 4.0.

Sony is assumed to showcase several smartphones at the upcoming MWC 2019 (Mobile World Congress) with a distinct design format. The flagship smartphone that the company is expected to showcase at the upcoming event is the Sony Xperia XZ4. A leak claims that in addition to the flagship device, Sony will also showcase the Xperia XA3 which has a similar construction.
Sony Xperia XA3 Design and Features
The Sony Xperia XA3 has an unconventional design with a tall display at the front that has an aspect ratio of 21:9. The top bezel of the handset houses the earpiece for receiving phone calls and is quite prominent. While other three bezels around its display are thin and negligible.
The right side of the Xperia XA3 accommodates the volume rockers, a user customisable button and the power button which also doubles as a fingerprint sensor. The bottom of the device is occupied by a USB Type-C port which is flanked by two grilles on either side while the left side of the device makes room for the SIM card slot.
The rear of the Sony XA3 seems to be made out of aluminium which houses the company branding, NFC logo and horizontal mounted dual camera setup. Although the exact details about its specifications are currently unavailable, the source claims that it will have the following features:
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait for long as the device is set to launch soon and will be unveiled at the MWC 2019 which is scheduled for 25-28 February.
LG Mobile division has been struggling to find success. Despite launching two good devices last year, LG couldn’t sell many of them and thus these phones got lost in obscurity. But LG refuses to give up. It plans on releasing at least two flagships at MWC 2019 if reports are to be believed. The phones are expected to be the G8 ThinQ and the V50 ThinQ. LG themselves have sort of confirmed that the G8 will be making it’s debut soon and a number of leaks later, we know a lot of things about the device already.
But LG has gone out of their way to reveal an interesting information about the G8 ThinQ. In a blog post published today, LG has confirmed that the LG G8 ThinQ will have the 3D Face Unlock feature by using a TOF camera from Infineon.
LG G8 ThinQ Specifications
The LG G8 will be the basic flagship for 2019 with the specifications matching it. The phone will Snapdragon 855 chipset, a 6-inch display with a notch. The battery capacity will be 3500mAh for the LG G8. The phone may arrive in 2 variants, One with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The TOF camera mentioned in the blog post by LG is made by Infineon. LG says in the post, “While other 3D technologies utilize complex algorithms to calculate an object’s distance from the camera lens, the ToF image sensor chip delivers more accurate measurements by capturing infrared light as it is reflected off the subject. As a result, ToF is faster and more effective in ambient light, reducing the workload on the application processor thereby also reducing power consumption.”
The technology works similar to the FaceID in Apple’s newest iPhones. The difference will be that Apple uses an array of sensors. LG will probably may just use the TOF camera for authentication. How secure this solution will be isn’t known yet. LG is expected to unveil the LG G8 ThinQ at MWC 2019 in Barcelona. The pricing is expected to be around the $750 mark or around Rs. 45,000 for the LG G8 ThinQ.
In this day and age where Internet has taken over everything, one can never be too careful. There have been several data breaches over the past few months which have made people anxious about privacy on internet. Google aims to minimize that anxiety by launching an extension called Password Checkup. The tool will help you check if your data credentials have been compromised in a previous data leak.
Password Checkup: How Does It Work?
The extension can be added to the Chrome browser to track login details every time a sign in occurs. It then searches through approximately 4 billion compromised credentials. The extension will then alert if the credentials have been part of a breach and if a password change is required. Google says that it won’t store any of the users data and that the extension will never reveal the credentials to Google. The aim of this added security is to prevent hijack of the extension’s functionality, which could then be used to gain access to a users private info.
According to the description of the extension, it will anonymously report information on the number of look-ups. Google is also looking to improve the way the extension works over time; hopefully it’ll be embedded into a future version of the Chrome browser so more users can take the necessary steps to protect their accounts. This seems like a great initiative by Google.
Google hasn’t had the best reputation when it comes to data security. But, if their claims are true about not harvesting this data, this could be a great new add-on for people who are concerned about their privacy on the internet. If you are interested in checking out the extension, you can head to the Chrome Extension store, or alternatively click here.
Korean electronics giants, Samsung will soon launch its first foldable phone which is allegedly called the Galaxy Fold and 2019 flagship lineup which carries the Galaxy S10 branding. The anticipated smartphones are set to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event which is scheduled for 20 February in San Francisco. As the unveiling event closes by, more and more leaks of the devices seem to pop online. Live pictures of the Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e posted online reaffirm that the devices will have previously claimed features.
Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e Build
The images of the Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 were shared online and they surely look genuine. The elder Galaxy S10+ has a large edge-to-edge display with an Infinity-O notch and an under display fingerprint sensor. The handset has dual front-facing cameras which are housed in the Infinity notch. The rear of the Galaxy S10+ seems to be made out of black ceramic which resides the company branding and triple rear camera setup. The rectangular rear camera module of the smartphone also houses an LED flash and a heart rate monitor (HRM).
The second image set is of the Galaxy S10e which is the youngest member of the Galaxy S10 lineup. It has a similar design to the Galaxy S10+ with an edge-to-edge display that tapers towards the sides and an Infinity-O notch. However, the circular notch in the display only has a single selfie camera, unlike its elder sibling. The leaked image of the Galaxy S10e exhibits a white coloured ceramic back panel which has a similar setup as the S10+. It also has a triple rear camera set up along with an LED flash and heart rate monitor.
To conclude, images of both variants of Samsung Galaxy S10 look authentic. Also, we won’t have to wait for the official confirmation of their design as their launch is imminent.
Samsung will soon be coming forward with the new members of the Galaxy A Series. They include the Samsung Galaxy A10, Samsung Galaxy A20 and the Samsung Galaxy A30, with speculations of the Samsung Galaxy A50 launching some time later. After the recent Samsung M series launch, this could be the next big step for the electronics mega-giant.
Target Market For Samsung
According to a leak the Samsung Galaxy A series will be targeted towards the offline market sector. Another feature that the A series might sport is the AMOLED displays across all the variants, which indicates that the devices might be launched in the premium segment. More good news for Samsung!
Expected Specifications
As far as the reported specs go, the three phones popped up on Geekbench some time back, and that’s when it became clear The three smartphones will probably be powered by the Exynos 7885 octa-core processor. Furthermore, With successively 2GB, 3GB and 4GB of RAM, the devices will most likely be running Android 9 Pie. Also, that has to be based on Samsung’s very own UI.
The Samsung Galaxy A-Series is expected to be priced starting from Rs. 8,490. However, we’ll have to wait for the official launch of these smartphones to be able to get confirmations on pricing and specs. Are you looking forward to the new Galaxy A Series? Let us know below!
Xiaomi is a company whose product categories are ever expanding and range from smartphones to lifestyle products to consumer electronics. In India, the company has mainly focused on smartphones, accessories and television sector. However, the company is slowly turning the focus on lifestyle products as well. Surprisingly, the company has launched a pair of sports shoes in the country which is called ‘Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2 ‘. As the name suggests, they are the successor to the original Mi Men’s Sports Shoes which were unavailable in the country.
Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2
The Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2 have an attractive design with a thick white coloured midsole and black outsole. The top of the shoes has a unique fishbone structure that Xiaomi claims improve balance and reduce the chances of sprain while intense physical activities.
The Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2 also have a cushion patch and a TPU midsole which offer comfort to the wearer’s feet even when worn for longer periods of time. Distinctly, the shoes are machine-washable which makes them easy and are available in shoe sizes ranging from UK 6-11.
The Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2 is available in three colour variants which are Black, Blue and Dark Gray. The shoes are currently available on Xiaomi India’s crowdfunding platform for a price of Rs 2,499 which includes a limited discount of Rs 500 and the deliveries will commence from 15 March.
Reliance launched the JioPhone in 2017 and it became an instant success. The ability to run 4G VoLTE on a cheap device was a dream for many in India. The phone could run some basic apps thanks to the KaiOS in it. WhatsApp also was launched on the platform a while ago. JioPhone is a success story that Reliance may want to repeat again. If recent leaks are to be believed, the JioPhone 3 is in the works. The news may be more exciting because it reportedly will have a touchscreen this time around.
The original JioPhone had a T9 keypad. The JioPhone 2 used a QWERTY one for convenience. A touchscreen in the third iteration seems like the way to go. The pricing has gone up with each iteration so the JioPhone 3 will be significantly more expensive than the last one.
JioPhone 3 Specifications
The JioPhone 3 will feature a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen. The smartphone will also have 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There will also be support for memory expansion using a MicroSD card. The phone will have a 5MP camera on the back and a 2MP one on the front for video calling.
What is not clear is what the phone will run on. If we follow Jio’s past records, the answer will be KaiOS with touch support. But the phone will be significantly expensive and has a generous amount of RAM, so Android GO edition is not out of the question either. Touch support for KaiOS is apparently already in the works.
The smartphone will launch in July and will be available to the public in August. The phone will be sold offline and will carry a price tag of around Rs. 4500. That is a significant increase over the previous one. It remains to be seen if the phone will be as successful as the original JioPhone.
Last year saw the release of YouTube Rewind. The video quickly became the highest disliked video of all time. As of writing this article, the video sits at over 15 million dislikes. The video was flagged for missing out the key creators and elements that have made YouTube what it is today. There hasn’t been a response from anyone at YouTube about the Rewind. That is until now. YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki in a blog post, admitted that the Rewind was not what they set out to do.
Susan, in her post, seemed to admit that the Rewind didn’t show the year’s key moments. She wrote “Even at home, my kids told me our 2018 Rewind was “cringey.” We hear you that it didn’t accurately show the year’s key moments, nor did it reflect the YouTube you know. We’ll do better to tell our story in 2019.”
YouTube Rewind 2018
The YouTube Rewind is an annual video that is released by YouTube since 2011. The video highlights the trends that were famous on YouTube. The Rewind was flagged last year for not including some major creators like PewDiePie, H3H3 Productions etc. The video also didn’t mention some of the key moments of 2018 like the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight or PewDiePie vs T-Series. The video got so much flak, it became the most disliked video on the platform. It broke the previous record of Justin Bieber’s Baby, with almost 10 million dislikes.
Many creators then released their own version of the Rewind. Some of them got even more likes than the original video. YouTube seems to finally understand their mistakes and the problems with the video. Let’s hope they don’t repeat the same this year as well.
