Latest Leak About iPhone 6s Camera: A 400% Boost According to Reports

A report by Forbes announced a 400% boost in the front camera of the latest iPhones to be released on 9th September. According to MacRumors, the selfie camera would be upgraded to 5 MP, pleasing selfie and FaceTime aficionados all over. This is indeed a big leap from the current 1.2 MP of the iPhone 6. A better quality front camera inevitably makes it one of the most anticipated features of the new iPhones.

In addition to this, a post by 9to5Mac mentions a rear camera case which is not made of Sapphire. If reports are to be believed this is perhaps because of failure during drop tests.

Final Rumour Roundup : What to Expect From Apple’s iPhone 6s

What we already know about the new iPhones is that they are going to be launched on the ninth of this month, the event will take place at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco and that it will be one of the biggest so far in the history of the company. While Apple poses itself to charm potential customers, let’s do a quick recap of what we think these gizmos are going to be all about.

Price

Storage

The added feature of being able to take 4k videos on the device is also likely to cause trouble with storage, especially for the buyers of the 16 GB variant. They would then be forced to upgrade the iCloud storage and dump their files on that, or look for alternatives.

Processor

The device is rumoured to have a Force Touch display, an A9 processor, and 2 GB of RAM. A9 is also expected to have two cores running at 1.80GHz. A new NFC chip from NXP and labelled 66VP2 is also expected to be inside the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Battery

cnBeta marks the new battery capacities of the iPhone 6s at 1715 mAh and iPhone 6S Plus at 2750 mAh. These can be compared to the iPhone 6 at 1810 mAh and iPhone 6 Plus at 2910 mAh.

Since iPhone-users are already struggling with battery life, this doesn’t come as a welcomed change. Despite many power enhancement updates in iOS 9, a bigger battery is always more appreciated. Also considering that the newer ‘S’ version iPhones usually have a bump in hardware, power consumption might get affected.

Display:

In terms of display, the gadgets are expected to have a 1125 x 2000 resolution along with a pixel density of 488ppi. According to rumours, the company may offer a new colour variant -rose pink, in addition to the gold, silver and space grey variant.

One of the most anticipated features of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus is the Force Touch Display. The iPhones are going to keep the design from last year, which may disappoint many buyers. With the S6 Edge as the benchmark of design, those looking for a new iPhone will need to push their purchases to next year and wait for the iPhone 7.

Camera

With the iPhone stuck in the 8MP cycle for many a years, the company is expected to bump up the camera to 12 MP. Apple iPad Pro Set to Arrive Alongside iPhone 6S on Sept 9th

Time for Apple loyalists to hold tight as details of one of the most anticipated events of the tech world are divulged. 9th September marks the day the new iPhone will be launched in markets all over the world. The San Francisco venue, the Bill Graham auditorium (shown below) a 7000-seat building, therefore becomes symbolic of the significance this event will have in the history of the company.

The event will mark not only the launch of a pair of new iPhones but also of an upgraded Apple TV set top box, and new bands for the Apple Watch. The launch of these gadgets will be followed by the much awaited iPad Pro, and a revamped version of the iPad mini for retail in the subsequent months, if rumours are to be believed.

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to showcase the two new iPads at the event next week. The iPad mini 4 will be a thinner version of the current iPad mini, including a faster A-series chip with support for split-screen apps first introduced in iOS 9. Leak: iPhone 6s Plus Front Panel Shows Larger Front Camera and Force Touch

According to recent reports, the iPhone 6S Plus’ front panel has been leaked, with images showing a larger front camera. Apparently an Apple component store got early replacement units which shows a similar design but with a Force Touch controller.

The changes for the 6S is expected to be mostly internal – better cameras, selfie camera on the front will be above the earpiece and will go up to 5MP with 1080p video capture.

The Upcoming Fourth-Gen Apple TV To Be Priced Below $200

New reports have emerged about the upcoming Apple TV fourth-gen, that have revealed its pricing, availability, and product lineup plans. The new Apple TV will be priced below $200 and will be available in October. The price of this new device could range between $149 to $199, both having been noted as being higher than the third-gen Apple TV.

This new box will be more expensive than its competitors, however, Apple has decided to keep its $69 third-gen device on sale as an entry level model within the Apple TV product line. The Apple TV 4 is expected to be ‘thicker and slightly wider’ than its predecessor.

Some features that might be included in the new Apple TV would be – Siri support, a new remote control, an App Store with a Software Development Kit for developers, and a refreshed user interface. Other reports also imply, that Apple might plan to release a cable-replacing streaming TV service that bundles multiple television channels for a price as low as $40 per month, however the Apple TV would still require logins to cable networks to unlock the content.

The updated Apple TV will feature SIRI and an App Store.

This software that is supposed to enable Apple’s cable-replacement service is currently planned to also become available for the third-generation Apple TV. However, it has also been reported that the current model will not receive support for the upcoming App Store, nor will it be directly controllable by Siri.

Apple plans to reveal the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus on the 9th of September 2015. These two new devices are expected to come with the Force Touch technology, a new Rose Gold colour option, 12MP camera with 4K video, wireless chips from Qualcomm, A9 processors and improved front facing cameras. Which not only means that Apple will continue selling the low capacity 16 GB version, but it will also be at the same price as the iPhone 6.

Apple Officially Confirms – iPhone 6s Arrives on 9th September

This time last year we expecting big things from Apple. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were on their way, and the rumour mill was working hard and fast to deliver the latest. This year we’re expecting another upgrade – we’re looking forward to the iPhone 6s.

Apple has officially confirmed that its mega ‘iPhone’ event for 2015 would be held on 9th September 2015. Which means after months of deciphering rumours, we finally get to see what the Cupertino-based tech giant has in store for us this year. The formal invites for the event reveal that it will be held at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

Apple is expected to reveal two iPhones at the event and then ship them later that month. The phone will be first shipped to Apple’s ‘first-tier’ countries – Germany, Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the U.K. and the U.S, and mainland China.

Report: Pre-Order the New iPhone 6s, 6s Plus September 11 Onwards

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are both said to arrive on the 9th of September 2015. However, a leaked image from a company in France suggests that its employees can start pre-ordering the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, starting September 11th 2015.

This new date also would suggest that the announcement of the two new iPhones should be on the 8th or 9th September, thereby further confirming rumours. According to these reports then, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus should be available from the 18th of September 2015.

These new devices are expected to come with a 12MP camera, an A9 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and the much awaited Force Touch. Apple, however, has not confirmed any of the rumours.

China Times: Apple Might Reveal the iPhone 6C in November

We are all awaiting the two new iPhones that are expected to be launched this September – the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The 6S is expected to come with a 4.7 inch display, while the 6S Plus might come with a 5.5 inch display.

However, rumours say that the third product is now expected to be launched only in November. This new device is speculated as being the iPhone 6C. According to further reports, Foxconn is planning to increase its workforce in order to manage iPhone output better, and an insider from Foxconn has also allegedly said that they would be making the iPhone 6C for Apple soon.

No final announcement about this has been made by Apple Inc, but they are expected to unveil their 2015 iPhones on the 9th of September and then launch them on 18th September 2015.

Looks Like This Year’s iPhone Won’t Be Bending

Last year, it seemed a little shocking when Apple users found their iPhones being susceptible to bending. And in order to wash that reputation away, rumours and reports suggest that this time, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be made from 7000 series aluminium, in order to make it more hardy.

Apple is yet to confirm this, but reports suggest that the alloy used for this year’s iPhones, will be composed of zinc (5%) and iron (might be as high as 8%). Although those are approximate and unconfirmed percentages, the Apple News site said that they discovered that ‘unspecified amounts of iron can be introduced into the shell during the milling process.’

Unbox Therapy, which is the YouTube channel that famously bent the iPhone 6 Plus on camera, last year, did a similar test on the iPhone 6s metal case, this year. He concluded that the shell did have zinc and iron in it and that one would need at least three times the force to bend this years iPhone. Do you feel reassured?

Atop the metal, a 10-micron thick anodized aluminum oxide layer is also present to protect the phone against corrosion and also to introduce dyes for various colour options.

Apple iPhone 6s Release Date Leaked

As we get closer to the release date of Apple’s newest iPhone, there are several speculative reports suggesting the tentative day we might be able to get our hands on the smartphone. A recent report suggests that major German carriers are planning to launch the iPhone 6s on September 18th 2015. However, the companies have not been identified yet, though it is known that O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile already carry the iPhone 6.

This indicates that people living in first-tier launch countries will be able to purchase the phone from stores on 18th September. While the announcement event of the phone remains unchanged for 9th September.

Apple iPhone 6S Prototype Leak Confirms 2GB RAM

An Apple iPhone prototype has reportedly been created, and the new device is said to come with a tri-core CPU on the Apple A9, a single-core number of 1811 and a multi-core score of 4577. These statistics are more than the HTC One M9, out of water.

More reports by Geekbench reveal that the iPhone 6S might have 2GB of RAM with a tri-core CPU running at 1.5 GHz.

A new short tweet by Evan Blass reads “Sounds like iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, and 6c will all arrive concurrently.” The current release of the iPhone 6S is expected to be in mid-September, implying that the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and iPhone 6c could release on the same day.

The camera on the iPhone 6 Plus offers amazing shooting features like Time-lapse and slow motion capture.

The rumoured iPhone 6c, said to arrive with a 14/16nm FinFET chips from TSMC and Samsung, in order to provide a better performance and lower power consumption to the new lower range devices. What we also know is that the iPhone 6C is said to be similar to the size of an iPhone 5s and will have a similar hardware vein as that of the iPhone 6. The smartphone is said to come with a full metal unibody construction in comparison to the plastic iPhone 5c.
