Blackberry London gets leaked yet again with details, Slim Savior for RIM?

This to-be (or not to be ) image of the Blackberry London has some promising features to its tail. According to Crackberry the image is the correct render of the said device. More information including Blackberry 10 and support for possible Android Apps comes courtesy the image. First look  states that the device is exceptionally slim, yet it retains the Blackberry build feel. It supposedly will run on a dual core 1.5GHz processor made by either Texas Instruments ( TiOmap) or Qualcomm.

We should expect dual cameras ( or see them in the image) 8 Mp + 2MP along with features like autofocus and full hd recording. The device should also feature Android Apps and a better experience to the dying numbers of Blackberry lovers. Could this be RIM’s answer to the iPhone and Android?

Apple kicks off discussions on Apple TV with Media Executives

Apple is reportedly discussing the possibility of the Apple TV (not the tiny box, but a real television) with global Media honchos. Steve Jobs’ next big thing before he passed away was the change in the Television industry. Apple’s new CEO Tim Cook has no plans to drop the idea as the company pushes the game forward.

An idea that includes a TV that packs wireless streaming with AirPlay to deliver TV shows and movies as well as technology it’s developed to tie-in DVR storage and iCloud, allowing personal access on tablets and devices handheld. There should be major voice activated control implemented in the whole ecosystem, possibility of that is the already popular Siri voice control systems.

Several companies including Google have already attempted this ill fated journey, only to fail all attempts. Lets see what Apple brings to the table and if it changes anything.

  • iPhone 4s shows up on AT&T’s employee database

iPhone 4s shows up on AT&T’s employee database

Not only is is an iPhone 4S but its a white iPhone 4S. Thats right a new SKU has been found on the AT&T employee database in the US. ATT&T is the primary partner since the initial launch of the iPhone back in 2007.  An employee found the AT&T’s internal system, listing the “iPhone 4s White” along with the usual Apple devices.

The interesting part of this whole mystery is that a black version is nowhere to be found. Does that mean – Apple is taking out a Special edition iPhone 4 which will be available in white only. Or does it mean that the next budget iPhone 4 will also be available in white from launch.

    Questions ….. questions….!

  • Leaked : PlayBook OS version 2.0, Drops BES

Leaked : PlayBook OS version 2.0, Drops BES

A bunch of pictures / screenshots of the playbook running what appears to be RIM OS 2 for Playbook are being tossed around on the internet. As if the Playbook wasn’t out of the sack punch the next update is really going to drop notice.

Looks like RIM is dropping the BES from its playbook, disabling enterprise support on their only tablet that sold only 40,000 units since it was launched. It could also mean that the BES isn’t installed on whatever dev version this device is running, but there have been a lot of speculations regarding the BES dropout by RIM, and this looks like what is going to be the first real proof of their desertion of BES.

Also if you look closely enough you can spot the green Android that could mean only one thing- Android app compatibility could be built into this update. Is that a big woohoo? I guess not, considering only a couple of you have bought the Playbook if any.
