Micromax is now the newest company to start its own operating services and apps. Taking a cue from Xiaomi, Microsoft and Samsung the new OS, as reported, will run on all of Micromax’s devices.
This project has been started by the new technology head at Micromax, Ashish Agarwal. This OS is said to be a platform developed on Google’s Android. The first few smartphones that will come with this OS are expected to arrive by the end of the financial year and will be affordable.
Micromax co-founder Vikas Jain told ET:
“We’re excellent with partnerships and we don’t want to reinvent the wheel,”
The above statement has confirmed the fact that the new OS will not break away from Android. Micromax’s goal is to invest in software in order to differentiate itself without alienating its consumers and developers.
Previously, we have seen Micromax tie up with Cyanogen for the Yu range, through a fully owned subsidiary. They are also investing in start-ups such as Healthifyme and MiMedia – services that can be integrated into their devices.
Final reports suggest that the new forked Android OS is being developed in Bengaluru. Stay tuned for more updates.
Starting the week right is Micromax’s launch of its ultra budget smartphone. Meet the Canvas Xpress 2 – it comes with a 13MP camera, a 5-inch HD display, 1GB RAM and is only priced at Rs. 5,999.
Chinese companies have spoilt Indian buyers by offering high-end specs at affordable prices and Indian companies are trying hard to keep up. This is Micromax’s attempt.
You’d expect that such a smartphone would be a product of the company’s subsidiary Yu Televentures. But Micromax decided to swoop in and bring out its own budget offering.
In the box, along with the smartphone, we get a pair of earphones, a data cable, a power adapter, a screen guard and standard documentation.
Coming to the smartphone itself, this one is quite a looker. The smartphone comes with a gold rim, which is subtle and stylish. It also has a smooth matte black back, so there isn’t a need to worry about fingerprints. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which takes away the worry of careless scratches. The gold and black exteriors complement each other well and moreover give the phone a premium feel. The design of the device also seems sturdy.
Meanwhile, under the hood, the Xpress 2 comes with an octa core, MediaTek6592 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz. It comes coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB internal storage, which is expandale to 32GB. Micromax has provided a 2500Ah Battery to fuel the device.
The company claims they’re extremely proud of the smartphone’s camera prowess. The Canvas Xpress 2 comes with a 13MP rear camera, with a Dual LED Flash and f/ 2.0 lens, which promises to produce clear pictures in low-light settings.
The device comes with Android KitKat 4.4.2 out of the box, which is upgradable to Lollipop. The user interface is mostly generic, with a little or no changes from Micromax. The overall experience of the UI is incredibly smooth. One of the useful features about it is that a quick swipe to the left opens up the newsfeed; which is an easy way to keep up with current events. The standard three buttons at the bottom of the screen are touch-capacitive.
The smartphone is again, available online-only, and will exclusively go on sale via Flipkart via the infamous flash sale model. Registrations begin today, i.e 27th July and the first sale is scheduled on the 4th of August. The company also is offering an exclusive deal in collaboration with Vodafone.
Watch out Unboxing and Hands On review here:
To know what we think of the device, wait for our full review.
A few days back, iGyaan leaked the news about an upcoming budget smartphone by Micromax. We reported that the new device included a sleek gold and black design, Snapdragon 615, and a 13MP rear camera.
While we were wrong about the chipset, we got the rest of the details right. In an iGyaan Launchpad episode, iGyaan’s Founder, Bharat Nagpal sat down with Shubhajit Sen, CMO of Micromax to discuss the new Canvas Xpress 2.
Watch the whole conversation here:
In December 2014, Micromax launched Canvas Xpress to compete with Motorola’s bonafide hit, the Moto E. Today, the company has launched its successor, the Canvas Xpress 2, which feels more of a jab at Xiaomi, based on the specs and its jaw-dropping price tag of Rs. 5,999. The pricing is surprising because the Canvas Xpress was launched at a price of Rs. 6,999.
The phone is superior to its predecessor in all aspects – display, camera, processor, battery and pricing. The Canvas Xpress 2 has a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a huge improvement considering its predecessor had a 4.5 inch FWVGA(854×480) display. The phone has a 13MP rear and 2MP front camera, which is at par with what the Redmi 2 offers. Micromax also upgraded the processor by using a 1.4Ghz Octa-Core MediaTek 6592 processor. The phone offers 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB, with 1GB of RAM.
Micromax has made a huge improvement in the Canvas Xpress 2 by increasing the battery from 1,950 mAh to 2,500 mAh. The device comes with Android KitKat 4.4 and supports 2G and 3G network.
Although this latest offering by Micromax should attract buyers, it will be a tough sell because of the Redmi 2, which lags a bit in the display size and camera section, offers value-for-money at the same price of Rs.5,999.
Micromax will sell the Canvas Xpress 2 exclusively at Flipkart. The registrations will start today and the device will go on sale from 4th August. The company has also announced exclusive deals for Vodafone users.
Yu Televentures has launched the Yu Yureka Plus, the successor to Yu Yureka, priced at Rs. 9,999. The phone comes with a 5.5 inch FHD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. Check our review of the new phone and find out whether it is worth your money.
According to a report, Amazon will launch its Prime service in India later this year. It is the membership program that offers unlimited free shipping on most deliveries with no minimum order size, unlimited backup for photos, access to streaming movies and music, free books from the Kindle Lending Library and more, for an annual fee.
In a bid to connect with their audience and to up their usage, Google has finally decided that it will be shutting down Google+ photos and making way for Google Photos by August 1st.
After announcing it in CES, Las Vegas, earlier this year, Sony has finally rolled out the Android TV in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 69,900.
Details about Micromax’s next ultra budget phone has been leaked. It will apparently be the next big thing since Canvas. The phone is expected to be below the 10k price bracket and will use a Snapdragon 615 processor.
Apple has posted its third quarterly results for 2015 and the company has performed better than the previous quarter, but apparently it wasn’t enough for the investors. Apple’s performance is based on the rise in iPhone sales and its increasing popularity in China.
Samsung has announced the launch of Galaxy Tab S2, which the company says is “the most immersive Samsung tablet to-date” . The Galaxy Tab S2 is available in two sizes – 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch.
If our source is to be believed, this is Micromax’s next big thing. However it is going to be an ultra budget device. Details are sketchy at the moment, however it appears to have a black and gold design with a metal frame. The phone is expected to be below the 10k price bracket considering their own Yureka sells for Rs. 8,999.
The second image illustrates the device slightly better and also shows off the 13MP rear camera. The Micromax logo appears to be in a gold colour as well. The rear appears to have a rubberised back cover. Our source (who refuses to be named) also tells us that the device will be a Snapdragon 615 handset and may possibly run Cyanogen OS.
We know that this device will be competitively priced and may be sold through an online exclusive partner. The details of RAM, storage and display etc. are presently unknown. We are trying to get more information or at least a name for the handset. The leaked smartphone is expected to launch soon, however, all this must be taken with a pinch of salt. It is just as likely that this could be a prototype or a test device.
Micromax officially declined to comment on the same.
Micromax’s new entrant into the smartphone rat race, is not really new. The Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 is the Indian manufacturer’s slim device to take on the other slim phones. The upside, the Canvas Sliver 5 is 5.1mm end to end with no bumps or depressions. The frame is made from Aircraft grade aluminium and the front as well as the back is glass.
Specs wise, a few disappointments can be made out easy. For the price of Rs. 17,999, Micromax has included a Snapdragon 410 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB non-expandable storage and an 8 MP camera.
The front has a paltry 720p display along with Gorilla Glass 3, the battery is a mere 2000mAh. There is not a lot on offer here apart from the slim profile and the lightweight design.
The software is mostly stock Android 5.0.2 with some installed software, most of it is easily uninstalled. A flagship was expected from Micromax today, but the Rs. 17,999 price is might be the reason Canvas Sliver 5 remains on shelves. At a time where the world’s smartphone makers are battling to offer maximum at minimum rates, the Canvas Sliver 5 seems to fall short with average specifications. Besides, users have the choice to spend Rs. 2,000 extra and buy the OnePlus One (64GB) at Rs. 19,998. For that small amount, you would get a better camera, processor and a massive (multimedia-friendly) display.
Micromax’s Jailbreak event kicked off in New Delhi and the firm brought before us the world’s slimmest smartphone. Adding to its Canvas line-up, Micromax introduced its flagship device, the Canvas Sliver 5, holding a thickness of 5.1mm end-to-end. The handset joins the list of the world’s till-date “slimmest phone” title holders – Oppo R5 (6.9mm), Elife 5.1 (5.15mm), and Vivo X5 Max (4.75mm).
Not only is it slim, it’s lighter than any phone released till date. Micromax claims that the Canvas Sliver 5 weighs a mere 97 grams. It accommodates Aircraft grade aluminum that helps maintain its feather-like weight. Along with that, touch sensitivity is integrated onto the screen, helping it acquire the thinness.
CEO Vineet Taneja on Stage at the launch.
That was all about its exterior specifications. The phone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB DDR3 RAM. Canvas Sliver 5 is 4G/LTE enabled, which means overall, it might be a smooth and fast device. The display size stands at 4.8-inch with 720p resolution. The device, running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, comes with 16GB internal storage space with no expandability option.
Going by the camera specifications, the new Canvas flagship will hold an 8MP Sony IMX219 sensor on the back with Blue Glass Filter, Professional Mode and Night mode. The Blue Glass Filter offers better pictures by restricting infrared. Micromax has provided a 5MP front camera. A Dirac HD Sound system takes care of the audio quality. A battery of 2000mAh is fitted to the device, which according to Micromax is sufficient for the smartphone. The phone will be available in two colour options – white and black.
Besides this, the homegrown company announced additional offers. With Airtel connection, users will get double the data pack. Also, one of the major highlight of this smartphone, all buyers will get a guaranteed 7-day after-sale service, in case of any issue with the phone. Micromax has priced it at Rs. 17,999.
The next flagship by Micromax is scheduled to launch today in the national capital of India. Media invites have been sent by the homegrown firm for the event starting at 12 PM. Although the event will carry out in an enclosed dark room, Micromax has added support for everyone to witness the jailbreak of its device, live. It is expected to disclose more than one product at the launch.
Micromax has designed a special page for the unveiling of its upcoming flagship. A countdown appears on top of the page, beneath which is a video with shows a prisoner trying to escape from the jail.
Updating its Canvas Knight series, Micromax has introduced the second-generation Canvas Knight 2 in India. The device, which supports 4G connectivity, is priced at Rs. 16,299. The dual-SIM Canvas Knight 2 is not a major overhaul of its previous version; it packs a Snapdragon chipset, which was MediaTek in the last offering, advanced operating system and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset came to our testing lab and we got our hands on the device.
Here’s our first experience with the phone:
The super slim Canvas Knight 2 is surrounded by a golden metal frame. It sports a big-sized screen of 5-inch HD AMOLED with 720 x 1280 resolution and 294ppi pixel density. The display surface, as well as the back, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is scratch resistant. On the front, they’ve provided a 5MP camera for selfie enthusiasts.
The dual SIM card slots offer support for one Micro SIM and one Nano SIM card. If one wishes to expand the storage capacity of the device, a memory card can be placed in place of the Nano SIM card slot. That means you can use just one SIM card if you want to expand its storage capacity.
On the top side of the Micromax Canvas Knight 2 is a 3.5mm headphone jack with secondary noise cancellation microphone. The right side of the device has the SIM card slot where you can stuff the MicroSD card for memory expansion. On the left, volume rockers as well as a power button.
Inside is a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage space. Users have the option to expand it up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The new iteration runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The rear camera of the Canvas Knight 2 is a 13MP autofocus with Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor and 5-element lens. A non-removable Li-ion battery of 2230mAh keeps the device running for around 8 hours.
There are no surprises that the first lot of the Yuphoria sold out within seconds. The inception of YU as a brand is relatively recent. However, Micromax, its parent company, has been around for a while. Yu was started as an online exclusive spinoff resulting in deeper competition for the likes of Xiaomi and others who mastered this domain. The success of the Yureka has proved that Indian brands are ready to change their old decaying methods
The Yuphoria is YU’s new handset. However, the company is not pegging it as a sequel, more like a different segment hero. The Yuphoria is their budget end of the spectrum, but YU as a company have ensured that people don’t think of this handset as a budget handset.
Overview
The Yuphoria is priced at a low Rs 6999/- however it packs in a big bang for its buck. Good construction is what YU and Rahul Sharma played off well while launching this device. Packed with more than you can expect from a budget handset. However, the market is now saturated, with the likes of Honor, Xiaomi, and Lenovo. So what makes the Yuphoria different and why is it getting attention? For Starters, in its entirety the Yuphoria handset will be assembled in India. It was made clear at the launch that the initial lot would come from China, however, post the first few thousands, the Yuphoria will be assembled in their local plant in India.
Hardware
The Yuphoria promises a lot and packs a decent set too. No, it is not game changing in performance, but its got a good lineup.
For a price of Rs. 6999/- one begins as thinking of this handset from YU as a no-brainer.

Build and Design
[pullquote_left] The included screen protector is a great freebie [/pullquote_left]
The YU Yuphoria may be a budget handset, but it feels like a lot more. The phone has fantastic construction for its price, an all metal frame, made from stamped parts, which have been laser welded into place. The edges give the phone a lot of rigidity and strength, which in turn gives a reassuring feeling to the holder. The back has a soft touch rubberized back panel, which is not prone to fingerprints. The fat lens cap, however, is like an oil slick ; slippery and constantly smudgy.
The design is very Lumia-like and resembles good-old Nokia Lumia handsets with the metal frame shape and fat lens in the back centre. There is a very slight, almost negligible, lip on the front glass of the handset that may attribute to some protection for the front glass. However the included screen protector is a great freebie, especially for a device that may not see case manufacturers running after it.
Performance and OS (Cyanogen)
The Yuphoria is not a benchmark king, but then again it costs Rs 6999. We ran several benchmark tests, and the results were average. We weren’t surprised by the performance because the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 is fairly limited in capability. However the way cyanogen is built, and the use of Android 5.0.2 on the inside will make day to day operations a breeze. Expect no lag in the usage of the device, while switching from and to backgrounded apps, making calls, browsing the internet.
The 64-bit architecture comes into play here, and while you won’t get the best “extreme” performance scenarios, the handset can handle high-end games at lower graphics.
No special points for guessing that Cyanogen 12 works well on the Yuphoria. The Lollipop version of Android with Cyanogen’s custom tweaks have made sense for this budget device, eliminating daily bothersome lags. Post many days of use, the operating system on the device remains smooth.
Many things are easier thanks to Cyanogen. You get tap to wake and sleep, but you don’t get screen-off gestures that let you turn on the flashlight or jump into the camera.
Benchmark results were off the usual expectations, and low. If you are expecting a performance workhorse, this truly is not your price segment, nor is the Yuphoria your device. This device runs smoothly through the day and will keep up with almost all sorts of usage as long as you are not going to work it too hard. It tends to heat up, however, the plastic back panel doesn’t let you bear the brunt of it. The metal frame appears to have been insulated to prevent it from getting hot.
Multimedia and Camera
YU’s promotions prior to the launch of the Yuphoria included a music demo which showed off the loudness of the speakers. No, do not expect that at all. However, the AAC Technologies manufactured speakers are loud and clear and placing the Yuphoria flat on the table causes them to muffle out.
The camera is an interesting mix while the Yuphoria has a smaller MP size it has a wider aperture lens. You also get a big 1.4-micron pixel size that drastically improves low light performance. However, when the images are viewed on a larger screen, noise is apparent.
The front facing camera is equipped with a 5 MP sensor that allows for higher resolution imagery however images are still noisy. Contrast is pretty good, and colour saturation is more accurate than many in this segment, but still off.
Cyanogen’s camera app is the same as what you saw in the previous version and adds just a few changes. Functionality remains simple, and you can swipe down to add effects/filters and jump to the settings to enable face detection etc. The camera is fast and snappy especially for a shooter in this class. YU paid special focus to the camera at the time of launch, however, it may not be a magical clicking machine that they promised, but it does overtake many in the region.
Phone and Networks
What good is a smartphone that makes no calls? The Yuphoria does not have that problem. The phone has been designed to accept 4G Sim Cards, which might be an excellent option. However, considering the rollout speeds of India’s 4G capabilities, you might be many models down by the time you get to use it.
The LTE band support makes the phone great for travel, again something that may only be useful depending on how much you travel. The connectivity is good, and dropped calls appear to be a non-issue with the Yuphoria.
Battery
Unlike the Yureka, the Yuphoria has great battery life and there are no signs of the heating issues mentioned before.
Talk time standards were good when tested with 3G network, giving an average of 6 hours of talk time in a day of use.
The battery also charges quickly, giving you a full charge in about 1.5 hours. However, it’s not the fastest we have seen. The supplied “fast charge” charger would be the best way to charge this handset.

Conclusion
In a market that is a mess, with all kinds of phones from all kinds of companies, there seems to be some hope. The YU Yuphoria illustrates that you don’t need to pack loads of money to get a good smartphone experience. That’s what the Yuphoria is; A Good Smartphone Experience. But, it also just stops there, leaving a large void for improvements. As technology becomes more and more affordable, you might see what you call today “high end” trickle down to this price bracket sooner than you expect.
[pullquote_left] The Yuphoria will not impress the true geeks, the power hungry or even the benchmark crazy [/pullquote_left]
The Yuphoria makes for a good first smartphone, a good built premium feel smartphone, a good gift, a great new Android phone if you are replacing something in this price bracket, or even a second phone to already have a special device. The Yuphoria will not impress the true geeks, the power hungry or even the benchmark crazy. The Camera is good, the battery is good and phone call capabilities are excellent. Cyanogen makes for the best experience of “Raw Android,” and the Yuphoria gives it at a mighty impressive price tag.
Just like any other domain, you do have alternatives from Lenovo and Xiaomi. But none of them run Cyanogen, and none of them are made of metal.
Yesterday, Micromax YU showed off its latest smartphone in India; the YU Yuphoria is another amazing product by the company. With the latest smartphone, YU is certain to cement its status in the smartphone domain.
Yuphoria features a decent display of 5-inches with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. As revealed earlier by the firm, it packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 with Adreno A306 GPU. The RAM stands at 2GB with internal storage space at 16GB. The best part is that all these specifications are available at an inexpensive price tag of Rs. 6,999.
Let’s check out if Yuphoria takes a dig at other contenders in the budget category:
As you can see the table above, Yuphoria’s specs are giving a tough time to the best smartphones in the budget segment. It touts a Gorilla Glass 3 protection, which even the Rs. 7,499 Lenovo A6000 Plus doesn’t have. It has LTE connectivity and runs on the latest Cyanogen 12 OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. What isn’t mentioned above, is that the smartphone also flaunts a metal frame, which is rarely seen on smartphones in this category.
Yuphoria clearly stands out of the pack, but we will only give our final verdict on its performance after an in-depth review. Stay tuned for that, till then watch our unboxing and hands on with the YU Yuphoria.
Not long after Micromax set up a new company by the name YU Televentures, and launched a new device called the YU Yureka, the company launched the new YU Yuphoria. The name for this device has been chosen by the people in the YU community, and the device is the first to be designed by YU and is Made in India.
A lot of firsts for the handset, including an all-metal shell, stamped out of a single billet of metal, adding strength and rigidity to the handset. The phone is best in class considering the class is well below the Rs. 10,000 bracket, it has been launched at a price of Rs. 6,999.
Hardware wise many differences from the Yureka, but the Yuphoria adds new detail in a way the company will move forward. A Qualcomm 410 64bit Chipset, with a 1.2 GHz Quad Core CPU and Adreno A306 GPU. 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage complete the pie along with 64 GB expandability option.
The handset has two SIM card slots, both of which will accept LTE enabled SIM cards, making this budget handset future proof.
The camera is a fast and bright 8 MP camera with a large 1.4 micron pixel size, and a sharp f2.2 lens with quick autofocus and minimal drain on battery. You can shoot upto 1080p video at 30fps and 720p video at 60fps. The front has a 5 MP camera which has a bright f2.0 aperture wide angle lens.
The battery is kept at 2230 mAh, but the phone will be one of the first under 10k devices to feature fast charging capability. The phone with the battery only weighs 140 gms which makes it really lightweight and easy to handle.

Hands On the Yu Yuphoria
The Phone feels great in the hands and the 5-inch size is a sweet spot, the grip is easy and seamless. The brushed metal band that goes round the side adds a reassuring soft feel and rigidity to the Yuphoria.
The UI is fast and responsive as the mashup of Cyanogen 12, Lollipop 5.0.2 and the Qualcomm 410 64 bit chipset works great out of the box. The new elements of the Cyanogen 12 include seamless integration of Truecaller directly in the dialer. The new App Themer allows you to customise individual applications with different downloaded themes.
The camera UI is exactly what you would have seen before on Cyanogen, the camera has good depth of field and a bright f2.2 lens. You can shoot 1080p video and 720p video at 60fps.
Overall YU has managed to deliver an excellent device which will have the competition scrambling for their design teams. Good hardware, great build, Made in India, Cyanogen 12 and Lollipop all make for an excellent product. Add dual Sim Cards, LTE, and fast charging and the Yuphoria looks like a winner to us, especially with the Rs. 6,999 Price Tag.
A few months back Micromax spinoff YU entered the smartphone arena with a bang. It’s first smartphone the Yureka was a blockbuster in the budget segment and raised the bar for low-cost handsets. The company’s new flagship, Yuphoria, is expected to take the affordable smartphone market by storm.
The homegrown smartphone firm is taking the veil off the Yuphoria, right here on iGyaan. In in iGyaan Exclusive Launchpad Episode : iGyaan’s Founder, Bharat Nagpal sat down with Rahul Sharma, the Founder and CEO of YU Televentures to discuss the future of YU as a brand, the Yuphoria and where the company goes from here.
The handset will be the first to be fully designed by YU Televentures (Or Micromax for that matter) and will keep up the current trend of “Make in India”. After the initial lot of 1000 odd units the handset will be manufactured locally within the Indian borders.
No waiting anymore, Micromax YU’s next product is finally here! As scheduled, YU Televentures today launched its fresh smartphone Yuphoria in India today, adding another product to the YU lineup. The handset is an amazing offering from the Indian electronics start-up with LTE connectivity and Cyanogen OS 12. It won’t put a dent on the buyers pocket, the smartphone has been priced at a mere Rs. 6,999.
Yuphoria boasts an all-metal design with a matte finish at its back. It’s not a rebranded Chinese product and will be manufactured in India. Coming on to the specifications of the phone, Yuphoria sports a 5-inch IPS HD display with 1280×720p resolution and 294ppi. The screen has a protective coating of Gorilla Glass 3. Inside is a 64-bit 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 along with Adreno A306 GPU. It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable up to 64GB.
Optics of the phone include an 8MP rear shooter paired with a 5MP camera at the upfront. Battery capacity is sufficient at 2,230mAh. It offers 4G LTE connectivity, which allows faster internet browsing. Other options for connectivity includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio jack and a Micro-USB port.
Not only this, the handset is the first to integrate Truecaller directly in the dialer through its collaboration with Cyanogen. A lot of customization options are available on the phone along with a new app called App Themer that allows you to customise individual applications with a simple press of a button.
The smartphone will be available in two colour choices – Champagne Gold with white panel and Buffed Steel with black panel. The product will go for sale on May 28 on Amazon India website. Registrations begin today from 5pm onwards.
Just a few days back, Truecaller announced its collaboration with Cyanogen to pre-install its technology on Android devices in an attempt to eliminate spam phone calls. The caller ID service was among the first of its kind that displayed the name of the person calling from an unknown number and provided a call-blocking facility.
Today, Micromax launched its second Cyanogen-based phone here in India, the YU Yuphoria. This will be the first device to have Truecaller already installed within the device’s circuits. This feature can be toggled on or off, depending upon the choice of the user.
Truecaller and Cyanogen announced that all the future devices based on Cyanogen OS will have Truecaller integrated within its system, and it will be made available for existing users by over-the-air update in the next few months.
The YU Yuphoria is the successor of Micromax’s Yu Yureka, the company’s first Cyanogen based handset. Know more about the device here.
