A Motorola One Power device was recently spotted on Geekbench running the latest Android 9.0 Pie. The benchmark was posted on November 2nd. It reveals that the smartphone gets a single core score of 1274 while the multi-core score is 4508. Comparing to the Moto One Power running on 8.1 Oreo, which had a single core score of 1332 and multi-core score of 4812.

The scores have surely dropped after the upgrade but, this might not be the final release version and the company might tweak it prior to the official rollout. Sadly, any precise date for the update rollout is not available but the device will probably get it before the end of this month.

Motorola One Power With Android One Listed On TENAA

Most smartphone manufacturers have already embraced the notch-display. Some have even taken it a step further and introduced an almost all-screen display. However, brands like Motorola and Sony are still releasing smartphones with a notch and relatively big bezels. A recent TENAA listing of an Android One Motorola has surfaced. The listing suggests there may be a Moto smartphone with notch-display after all. The company may call this smartphone the Motorola One Power. Many companies have released an Android One smartphone including the recent Xiaomi Mi A2. The earliest leaks of the Motorola One Power were a series of hands-on images of the smartphone showcasing the device from each angle.

    Motorola Power

The Moto X4 is the company’s only Android One device on sale presently. The certification posted on TENAA suggests a second Android One smartphone by the company. The listing also reveals the smartphone’s specification including a 6.18-inch TFT display with a resolution of 2246×1080 px. Since the smartphone will have a notch we predict that it may have an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

Options include 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM with either 32GB or 64GB storage. We think that the smartphone may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. • Motorola One Is An Android One Smartphone That Looks Similar To Motorola One Power

Motorola One Is An Android One Smartphone That Looks Similar To Motorola One Power

The Motorola One Power has been in the news for a while now. The mysterious smartphone has been leaked consistently and is expected to launch sooner rather than later. A more compact version of the device, the Motorola One has now been leaked in new renders and will be an Android One smartphone from Motorola. The two smartphones look identical and could launch together.

The renders leaked by Android Headlines reveal that the Motorola One will be a smaller phone when compared to the Motorola One Power. As of now, it has not been confirmed whether the device will be smaller in terms of the display, or smaller in regards to the thickness of the device, or both. It is possible that the word “Power” would suggest a bigger battery which means that the Motorola One would be thinner than the One Power.

Left: Motorola One          Right: Motorola One Power

Looking at the renders of the Motorola One, it looks a lot like the Motorola One Power. There are, however, subtle differences between the two devices. The dual cameras on the back, for example, look separate. On the Motorola One Power, the protrusion is more pronounced. On the front, both the smartphones have a notch and a small chin that houses the Motorola branding.

  • Motorola One Power Leaked Specs Reveal 6.2 Inch Notched Display And Snapdragon 636

Motorola One Power Leaked Specs Reveal 6.2 Inch Notched Display And Snapdragon 636

Motorola One Power appears to be the next big launch in the company’s plans for 2018. Lenovo-owned Motorola has already launched the sixth generation of Moto G series in India and unveiled the Z3 Play in Brazil. The soon to be launched smartphone has been leaked several times and the newest piece of information reveals all the major specifications of the device.

It is almost certain that the Motorola One Power will have a notched display. However, unlike other Android OEMs, Motorola has not gone for a slim notch and it looks uncannily similar to the iPhone X. It is, however, highly unlikely that Motorola will introduce advanced facial recognition hardware in the Motorola One Power like the iPhone X. This also means that it’ll be the first Moto device to launch with a notch.

It has also been a while since Motorola used the full name as part of a smartphone’s moniker. Usually, the company sticks to “Moto” followed the series and then the number. The company will also jump on the vertical dual-camera bandwagon with the new device.  The Motorola One Power looks to be a first in terms of many things for Motorola.

According to the leak, the smartphone will have a 6.2 inch display with a 2280 x 1080 px resolution. It is not confirmed that whether the smartphone will have an IPS LCD or an AMOLED display panel. With a notch, users will benefit from an AMOLED display since they’ll be able to hide the notch using the software.

Under the hood, the device will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. This means that the smartphone will be priced under Rs 20000 if it launches in India. The new budget SoC will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which should be expandable via a microSD card. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the smartphone housed inside the Moto logo.

Powering the smartphone will be a 3780 mAh battery. That is a sizeable battery and should last a day easily, in theory, at least. Out of the box, the smartphone will run stock Android 8.1 Oreo. The name, Motorola One Power suggests that the device will be an Android One smartphone.

The back also houses a dual-camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor. The notch on the display houses an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The previous leaks suggested a 16MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture. But, these are leaks at the end of the day and should be taken with a pinch of scepticism.

There is no date set for the launch of the Motorola One Power as of now. However, with more and more leaks coming to the fore, it shouldn’t be too far away. We will keep you updated with all the leaks and information about the upcoming Motorola One Power.

  • Motorola One Power Specifications Revealed By 3C Certification Listing

Motorola One Power Specifications Revealed By 3C Certification Listing

Lenovo-owned Motorola has had an eventful past couple of months. The company recently launched the Moto G6 and G6 Play in India and is scheduled to launch the Moto Z3 Play in Brazil today. One smartphone that has come out of the blue has been the Motorola One Power. Apart from a design different from other Moto devices, the nomenclature is also different. The smartphone has now passed through 3C Certification, giving us a bit more information about the soon to be launched device.

So far, we do not have an extensive list of leaks about this device. Unfortunately, the 3C Certification listing doesn’t tell us a lot either about the smartphone. The listing mentions that the device will carry the model number XT1942-1. Apart from the model number, the listing reveals the supported charging speeds, 5V/3A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A. The maximum 18W output is supported, confirming the presence of Qualcomm QuickCharge.

The name of the smartphone suggests that it is an Android One smartphone. Motorola has been known for keeping the software on its smartphones close to stock. The company even launched an Android One version of the Moto X4. Hence, there is a high probability of this being a repackaged Moto X5. Long before the launch of the Moto G6 series, a series of leaks revealed the design of the upcoming Moto X5 with a similar notch. If true, the Motorola One Power could be the first Android One smartphone with a notch.

The leaked images and renders reveal that the Motorola One Power will have a wide notch like the iPhone X. So far, we have seen Android smartphone makers go for a very thin notch, like the OnePlus 6 and Huawei P20 Pro. The recently launched Mi 8 has a wider notch but, that is mainly because it has 3D facial recognition. It is highly unlikely that the Motorola One Power will feature any sort of 3D Face Unlock feature. This notch could just be a design decision more than anything else.

It appears that Motorola will plan a different launch event for the Motorola One Power instead of unveiling with the Z3 Play. More details to follow.

  • Motorola One Power Leaked In Live Images

Motorola One Power Leaked In Live Images

A couple of days ago, we came across a render of an upcoming Moto device, the Motorola One Power. The smartphone is touted to be Motorola’s entry into the world of notched smartphones. According to the render, the Motorola One Power will have an iPhone X-style wide notch. A new live image has now appeared online which could be the final design of the Motorola One Power. The image is in line with the previously leaked render.

According to the leaked image, the Motorola One Power will have a wide iPhone X style notch.

The reason the iPhone X was not slated too much for its notch was that Apple managed to get rid of the chin. Android OEMs have embraced the notch but, not found a way to get rid of the chin. The Motorola One Power is no different here. The chin on the Motorola One Power is very prominent and sort of resembles the Pixel 2 XL albeit, a missing speaker.

As many would have guessed it by now, the name of the smartphone suggests that it’ll be an Android One device. The Motorola One Power could be the first Android One smartphone with a notch. This should not be an issue in terms of app compatibility since Google has provided support for the notch in the developer’s preview of Android P.

There is also a high probability of this being a repackaged Moto X5. Long before the launch of the Moto G6 series, a series of leaks revealed the design of the upcoming Moto X5 with a similar notch. There is a possibility that Motorola will rebrand the Moto X5 as the Motorola One Power to market it as an Android One smartphone.

It is possible the Motorola One Power will be unveiled after the Moto Z3 Play will launch in early-June. We will keep you updated with all there is to know about the new Motorola smartphone.

  • Motorola One Power With iPhone X Like Notch Leaked

Motorola One Power With iPhone X Like Notch Leaked

The notch seems to be everywhere in all kinds of shape these days. The Essential Ph-1 cyborg eye-looking notch to the wide iPhone X notch, the smartphone industry has definitely embraced this trend. Lenovo-owned Motorola appears to be the latest smartphone maker to jump on the bandwagon with a completely new series of smartphones. A new leaked image reveals the design of the Motorola One Power which sports an iPhone X-like notch on the display.

The image leaked by Android Headlines shows the front and back of the device. It is fair to say that the design is nothing new and we have already seen a number of Android devices adopt the vertical placement of the dual-camera setup, similar to the iPhone X. The fingerprint sensor appears to be housed inside the “Moto” logo.

The front of the smartphone is where the headline-grabbing feature lies. The device will have a wide notch (wider than the likes of OnePlus 6, Honor 10) which looks very similar to the iPhone X. Whether a wide notch means there will be a Face ID-like security system is anybody’s guess as of now. The chin, unlike the iPhone X, is very prominent and houses the “Motorola” branding. The company has brought back its classic branding with its 2018 lineup of smartphones.

As many would have guessed it by now, the name of the smartphone suggests that it’ll be an Android One device. The Motorola One Power could be the first Android One smartphone with a notch. This should not be an issue in terms of app compatibility since Google has provided support for the notch in the developer’s preview of Android P.

Long before the launch of the Moto G6 series, a series of leaks revealed the design of the upcoming Moto X5 with a similar notch. There is possibility that Motorola will rebrand the Moto X5 as the Motorola One Power to market it as an Android One smartphone.

The report does not mention any details about the alleged specifications of the device. Neither does it mention any details about the launch event. It is possible the Motorola One Power will be unveiled after the Moto Z3 Play will launch in early-June. We will keep you updated with all there is to know about the new Motorola smartphone.
