  • Realme 5 Pro Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Which One To Choose?

Realme 5 Pro Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Which One To Choose?

On the 20th of August, Realme launched two new smartphones which include the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. As the name suggests, the latter is a beefed-up variant and it sports a better chipset and camera. Going by its pricing, the newly launched device competes against the Redmi Note 7 Pro which is one of the best value smartphones in this segment available in the country.

Both the handsets from Realme and Redmi have similar specs which make it difficult for the consumer to choose the best option. To help solve the dilemma we have laid out the different aspects of the Realme 5 Pro and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Consequently, after reading the article you will determine which device suits your need and which one you should pick if you planning to buy a mid-ranger.

    Design and Build

In terms of build, both the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Realme 5 Pro have glass on the front and back which is held together with a polycarbonate chassis. The front of the two handsets have a waterdrop notch display which provides them with an elegant look.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is offered in four colour variants which include Nebula Red, Neptune Blue, Space Black and Astro White. In contrast, the Realme 5 Pro is offered in two variants which include Crystal Green and Crystal Blue.

Based on our design preferences, we feel the holographic rear panel of the Realme 5 Pro looks more appealing therefore we give it the first round.

    Display
    Redmi Note 7 Pro

Both the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Realme 5 Pro are equipped with an LCD display that measures 6.3 inch. Moreover, the resolution of the display panel on the two smartphones is 409 ppi and they have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

While the former is safeguarded with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 the latter settles down with the Gorilla Glass 3. Due to better display protection, Redmi Note 7 Pro wins this round.

    Battery
    Realme 5 Pro

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W fast charging. On the other hand, the Realme 5 Pro has a slightly larger battery which has a capacity of 4,035 mAh and it also supports VOOC 3.0 technology.

The technology allows the smartphone to be charged with a maximum power of 20 W which is tad bid higher than the Note 7 Pro. However, the Realme 5 Pro ships with a 20 W compatible charger whereas its competitor is shipped with a 10 W charger. Slightly bigger battery and in-box fast charger make Realme’s offering take this round.

    Chipset
    Redmi Note 7 Pro

Both the smartphones are kitted with Qualcomm chipsets. While the Realme 5 Pro packs the Snapdragon 712 SoC, the Redmi Note 7 Pro packs the Snapdragon 675 SoC.

Chipsets on both smartphones consist of Octa-Core CPU though they have disparate GPUs. The SD712 incorporates the Adreno 616 while the SD675 Adreno 612 GPU. Although we are yet to test the Realme’s offering, the performance that the two can churn out is expected to be comparable. Therefore, based on the assumptions this round results in a tie.

    Other Features
    Redmi Note 7 Pro
    Redmi Note 7 Pro

Connectivity options on the two smartphones are also heterogenous which include dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack and the bottom-mounted USB Type C port which can be used for charging and data transfer.

Both the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Realme 5 Pro also have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which allows to rapidly and securely bypass the lock screen. However, one feature that only the former offers, is an IR blaster. Although not a huge deal breaker or deal maker, this feature can come in handy more often than not.

Just for the record, the inclusion of an infrared sensor makes the Note 7 Pro steer ahead of its competitor in this segment.

All in all, the two smartphones offer excellent value for money. The Redmi Note 7 Pro which was the most feature-laden smartphone at this price bracket six months ago.

Though due to a higher number of camera sensors, faster-charging support (along with fast charger) and a refreshing design we feel the Realme 5 Pro could be a better choice than the Redmi Note 7 Pro for a lot of consumers.

Redmi Note 7 Vs Note 7s Vs Note 7 Pro: Which One Should You Buy?

On the 28th of February 2019, Xiaomi launched two smartphones in India which include the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The former was originally launched in China in the month of January and it has a notable difference in comparison to the Indian variant. The Indian variant has 12 MP + 2 MP rear camera sensors while its Chinese counterpart has 48 MP + 5 MP resolution sensors. This move faced a lot of criticism from the Indian customers who were left dissatisfied.

In order to make up for the backlash, the company has launched the Redmi Note 7s in India that has the said 48 MP + 5 MP sensors as its Chinese variant. The price of the two variants makes it sit between the Note 7 and the beefed-up Note 7 Pro. This has lead to a perplexing situation for the consumer who wants to get a Redmi device in the 10K to 15K price bracket.

Factually, the three devices have a handful of differences in terms of specifications which further contributes to the confusion. The key differences between the trio include dissimilar storage options, camera sensors, chipset and price. Let’s start with the dissimilarities which will be followed with the heterogeneous features.

If the user has a defined budget and cannot expend more than Rs 12000, both the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7s are worthy options. If the user wants more storage space they can opt for the 4 GB + 64 GB Note 7, while if the focus is on photography, we would suggest the Note 7s. By spending just Rs 1,000 more for Redmi Note 7 Pro the buyer ends up with a better camera and chipset.

Fortnite Can Be Now Played On The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro

When Fortnite was first released in 2018, the game had support for only a select number of devices, which included Samsung flagships like the Note 9 and the Galaxy S9. The game is free to play, and it earlier required the user to receive an invite, without which they could not play the game. Previously, Realme CEO showed off the game running on the Realme 3 Pro, which was released on April 29, 2019. The post was a jab on the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which was barely hidden in the same image, and could not run the game previously. According to the latest Tweet shared by Company VP, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has received Fortnite support with the push of the latest update.

The Chinese company has released v10.2.10.0 update for the aforementioned smartphone, which runs on the Snapdragon 675 mobile chipset, comprising of the octa-core Kryo 460 CPU and the Adreno 612 GPU. It is one of the most powerful SoCs in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6-series chipsets, and Redmi Note 7 Pro users took to Twitter to express their expectations regarding the popular Battle Royale game that has over 40 million active players on PC. The game’s number one competitor is PUBG Mobile, which dominates the mobile gaming scene. With Fortnite support now present on the Redmi Note 7 Pro, more users will be able to play the game on their respective devices.

As per reports, the performance of the game on the Redmi Note 7 Pro was underwhelming at most. Even after installing the latest update from the company, there was a negligible change in the performance, reports claim. Furthermore, the game runs on the lowest possible graphics settings and delivers about 20 frames per second, which is quite low for a third person shooter. It is possible that the game was not optimized for the devices running Snapdragon 675, considering the chipset is not widely used in the United States and Epic Games is a US based organization. It is expected, however, that Epic Games will push an update in the not-so-distant future which will significantly improve the performance of the game on Redmi devices.

  • Samsung Galaxy M30 Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro Comparison

Samsung Galaxy M30 Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro Comparison

Samsung launched the Galaxy M30 on 27th of February in India which was soon followed by the Redmi’s Note 7 Pro. Both newly smartphones are packed with features and carry a lucrative price tag. In this article, we will put both smartphones against each other and discuss their features in detail.

    Display:

The Samsung Galaxy M30 sports a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED display while the Redmi Note 7 Pro sports a 6.3 inch LCD display which is safeguarded with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Galaxy M30’s display has a pixel density of 394 ppi whereas the Note 7 Pro’s display has a higher pixel density of 409 ppi. Nevertheless, the variation between the ppi is virtually unnoticeable due to the meagre difference. However, Note 7 Pro’s LCD display is no match for M30’s Super AMOLED panel which has better colour reproduction.

    Chipset:

The Samsung Galaxy M30 is kitted with the Exynos 7904 SoC which is designed and manufactured by Samsung. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 7 Pro packs the Snapdragon 675 SoC. The chipsets on both smartphones are comprised of an Octa-Core CPU however their innards are entirely different. The Exynos 7904 has two Kryo 260 Gold cores and six Kryo 260 Silver cores while the Snapdragon 675 has four Kryo 460 cores and four Kryo 460 Silver cores. Even though performance on the Galaxy M30 is honourable, the Exynos 7904 is secondary to Redmi Note 7 Pro’s Snapdragon 675. Furthermore, the Snapdragon 675 is manufactured using 11 nm fabrication technology and the Exynos 7904 is manufactured using 14 nm fabrication technology.

    Camera:

Front facing selfie camera on both the Galaxy M30 and Redmi Note 7 Pro are housed in the notch above the display. The former has a 16 MP selfie camera while the latter has a 13 MP sensor. On paper, the Galaxy M30 is ahead of the Note 7 Pro in this department. Talking about the rear cameras, the M30 has triple sensors while the Note 7 Pro only has two. The Galaxy M30’s rear camera setup consists of 13 MP PDAF sensor, 5 MP ultrawide sensor and a 5 MP depth sensor. In contrast, Redmi Note 7 Pro’s rear camera setup consists of a 48 MP sensor and a 5 MP depth sensor. Though, the latter loses out in number it makes up for lost ground in terms of composition. The 48 MP rear camera on the Note 7 Pro is the Sony IMX586 sensor which is seen on high end devices like the Honor View 20.  However, it is noteworthy that by default the Note 7 Pro’s camera captures 12 MP resolution photos to conserve storage. Additionally, social media platforms including Snapchat and Facebook compress images to a great extent. Therefore, final results from both smartphones will be comparable if not equivalent. Though full resolution images captured on Note 7 Pro will undoubtedly outperform images captured on Galaxy M30 when viewed on a large screen high definition display.

    Battery and Charging Speed:

The Samsung Galaxy M30 is powered by a massive 5,000 mAh battery while the Note 7 Pro is powered by a 4,000 mAh powerhouse. Even though the Galaxy M30 packs a larger battery, the 11 nm based Snapdragon 675 chipset on the Note 7 Pro consumes less power and strives to make up for a smaller battery. Furthermore, the Note 7 Pro supports 18 W fast charging while the M30 supports 15 W fast charge. Pleasantly, Samsung ships its device with a 15 watt fast charger whereas the Redmi Note 7 Pro is shipped with a 10 watt traditional charger.

    Storage Options, Expandability and Price:

Both the Samsung Galaxy M30 and Redmi Note 7 Pro are available in two storage variants which include 4 GB RAM plus 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM plus 128 GB ROM. Both devices also support memory expansion via a microSD card. Distinctively, the Galaxy M30 supports microSD cards of upto 512 GB while the Redmi Note 7 Pro only supports card of upto 256 GB. Furthermore, the Galaxy M30 has a dedicated slot for the microSD card whereas the Note 7 Pro uses SIM slot 2 for memory expansion. The price for different variants of the handsets are as follows:

    • Samsung Galaxy M30 (4 GB + 64 GB) – Rs. 14,990
    • Samsung Galaxy M30 (6 GB + 128 GB) – Rs. 17,990
    • Redmi Note 7 Pro (4 GB + 64 GB) – Rs 13,999

Xiaomi released the highly-anticipated Redmi Note 7 Pro in India at their launch event in Delhi on February 28. The smartphone was launched alongside the Redmi Note 7 and aims to target mid-range smartphones with its aggressive pricing and competitive specifications. It is interesting to see that India was the first country in the world to witness the launch of this device.

    Design And Display

The Redmi Note 7 Pro sports the Aura Design, which features 1.95 mm thin bezels and a 2.5D curved glass design. The glossy curved frame houses the 6.3 inch LTPS FHD+, dot notch display. The screen has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The device has Sunlight display for better outdoor viewing and a Reading mode to improve readability on the smartphone. The smartphone is protected on both sides by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Redmi note 7 Pro is the first Note device from Xiaomi to house a USB Type-C connector, which is placed on the bottom of the handset (right next to the speakers). It also retains the 3.5 mm audio jack and the IR blaster, both of which are present at the top of the phone.

    Specifications

The Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on the 11nm Snapdragon 675 chipset. It consists of the Kryo 460 CPU with two Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and 6 Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The CPU is paired with the Adreno 612 GPU. The smartphone is available in two variants, a 4GB+64GB variant and a 6GB+128GB model. It also has the Qualcomm Spectra 250L ISP (Image Signal Processor) for improving camera performance. The Redmi Note 7 Pro has Android 9 (Pie) out of the box, with Xiaomi’s own MIUI 10 on top.

    Camera And Features

The smartphone features a dual camera module on the back of the smartphone, which comprises of a primary 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a secondary 5 MP depth sensor. Noteworthy, the Sony IMX586 sensor is found in higher end devices like the Honor View 20. The camera also supports 4K recording at 30 fps. In terms of the front camera, it has a 13 MP front facing camera with AI integration.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery which supports 18W Quick Charge 4.0, although the device ships with a 10W charger in the box. As mentioned before, the device has an IR blaster, similar to the one seen in previous iterations of the smartphone. Biometric security is limited to a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is available in three colour options, Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Visits TENNA, Specifications Leaked

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its first smartphone, the Redmi Note 7 in the month of January this year. Soon after its launch, the company confirmed that it will also launch a Pro variant of the smartphone. As the name suggests, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be a beefed-up version of the standard variant. A senior Redmi China official has confirmed that the anticipated smartphone will launch in the last week of February. Before its official announcement, the device was spotted on Chinese regulatory website, TENAA.

Redmi Note 7 Features and Layout

The supposed Redmi Note 7 has been listed as model number ‘M1901F7BE’ on TENAA which is similar to the Redmi Note 7’s model number. The device in the listing measures 159.21×75.21×8.1mm and weighs 186 grams. It sports a 6.3 inch display with a resolution of 2340x 1080 px. According to the listing, the unreleased Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie which apparently will be skinned with MIUI. The smartphone will be offered in three storage variants which are as follows:

    • 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM
    • 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM
    • 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM

In addition to the internal memory, it also supports memory expansion upto 256 GB via microSD card. The supposed Redmi Note 7 packs an Octa-Core CPU which is clocked at 2.0 GHz. The clock speed of the aforementioned CPU is equivalent to the Snapdragon 675 which the smartphone was previously reported to have. The device has a total of three cameras out of which one is placed on the front and two on the rear. The front-facing camera uses a 13 MP sensor and the rear dual camera setup is comprised of a 48 MP sensor and an 8 MP sensor. Noteworthy, the 48 MP sensor on the Note 7 Pro is dissimilar to the 48 MP sensor the standard variant has. Redmi executive had previously confirmed that the 48 MP sensor on the Pro variant will be the Sony IMX 586 sensor which is used on high-end devices like the Honor View 20. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by a 3,900 mAh battery which like its younger sibling is likely to support fast charging support.

Interestingly, the listing reveals eight colour options of the smartphone which include Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple and Gray. Though it is unlikely that Redmi will offer the smartphone in all these colour options. The TENAA listing also includes live images of the Redmi Note 7 Pro which exhibit that it resembles its younger sibling from all sides. The front of the smartphone has a waterdrop notch display that houses the selfie camera. The rear of the device is made out of a transparent panel with a gradient finish that houses the fingerprint sensor and dual camera setup. The placement of ports and switches on the upcoming device are also the same as the Redmi Note 7. Although specifications listed on TENAA are chiefly accurate, official specifications will only be confirmed once the company officially launches the handset. As mentioned previously the launch of the Redmi Note 7 is imminent and will take place in the last week of February.

  • Redmi Note 7, Note 7 Pro Key Specs Leaked; India Launch On February 28

Redmi Note 7, Note 7 Pro Key Specs Leaked; India Launch On February 28

Xiaomi has been teasing what could be one of the most anticipated budget devices in India, the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Redmi Note 7 was the first device by the brand after it separated to become an independent brand. Xiaomi has since then, released teasers and has confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in India on February 28. Fresh reports suggest that the elder sibling, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will also make an appearance at the event.

    Redmi Note 7

Redmi Note 7 will be the new budget offering by the Chinese manufacturer. The device is expected to have an identical design to its namesake launched in China in January. It will have a glass sandwich design with a polycarbonate frame. The smartphone will feature a 6.4 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px. With an edge to edge display, it will have minimal bezels and a waterdrop notch up top. There is also a fingerprint sensor and an attractive gradient colour scheme on the back of the device.

The Redmi Note 7, unlike the one released in China, will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 636 SoC which is manufactured using a 14nm fabrication process. The chipset has an Octa-core CPU and an Adreno 509 GPU. Interestingly, this processor has been present in the last year’s Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The device will also differ in the optics department from its Chinese counterpart. The dual rear camera setup consists of a 12MP f/2.2 sensor and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portrait mode. For selfies, the smartphone will have a 13MP camera placed in the notch on the top of the display.

The Redmi Note 7 will be powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging. It will be available in Black, Blue and Red colour options in India. In terms of memory and storage, it will be available in two variants which are as follows:

    • 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM
    • 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM
    Redmi Note 7 Pro

As the name suggests, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 7, with significant improvements in the performance and optics department. Notably, this device will be the rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi Note 7. It will feature the same design as the device, complete with glass on the front and the back and a gradient pattern on the rear panel. It will have a 6.3 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px. The device will also feature a waterdrop notch on the front.

Like the Redmi Note 7 in China, the Indian version of the Note 7 Pro will run on the Snapdragon 660 SoC which is manufactured using a 14nm fabrication process. The chipset has an Octa-core CPU and an Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of the optics, the smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP f/1.8 Samsung ISOCELL GM-1 sensor combined with a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portrait mode shots. Like the Indian version of the Redmi Note 7, the elder sibling will also have a 13MP selfie camera housed in the notch on the top of the display.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro, like the regular variant, will be powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging via the bottom mounted USB Type-C port. It will be available in Black, Gradient Blue and Gradient Red colour options in India. For memory and storage, the smartphone will be available in two variants:

  • Redmi Note 7 Pro Leaked With 18W Fast Charging Support

Redmi Note 7 Pro Leaked With 18W Fast Charging Support

Redmi separated from its parent company Xiaomi in January to become an independent brand. It then went on to release the Redmi Note 7 the same month in China. At the launch of the device, it was hinted that the company will launch a slightly upgraded version of the smartphone soon. This smartphone was later reported to be the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Despite the leaks and the official confirmation from the company, no details about its launch date were revealed. Fresh leaks show that the Redmi Note 7 Pro has passed China’s Compulsory Certificate (3C).

The model number of the leak is similar to the one assigned to the Redmi Note 7. The slight variation in the model number suggests that the listing belongs to the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Previously, Xiaomi’s President Lin Bin posted a picture with the text ‘Pro’ on Chinese social networking site, Weibo. This affirms that the launch of the device is imminent.

    Redmi Note 7 Pro

Other than the updated processor and the camera sensor, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will have the same features and design as the regular version of the device. This would imply a glass sandwich design with gradient colour scheme on the back. The display of the device will sport a 6.3-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px. It has thin bezels around the display and a waterdrop style notch up top. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 675 chipset which is comprised of an Octa-core CPU along with the Adreno 612 GPU. The handset will have many notable features brought over from the regular variant; like a massive 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, MIUI 10 based on latest Android 9 Pie, a USB Type-C port, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster present on the top of the device.

Despite having the same resolution, the main sensor on the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be different from the regular variant. It will use a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor instead of the 48MP Samsung GM-1 sensor present on the Redmi Note 7. Interestingly, the Sony sensor is seen on flagship devices like the Honor View20 and the rumoured Xiaomi Mi 9. This sensor is expected to deliver a better image quality than the regular variant. Like the Redmi Note 7, the upcoming device also has a 13MP camera front-facing selfie camera. In terms of memory and storage, the smartphone is expected to be offered in the following variants:

    1. 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM
    2. 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to be unveiled in China in the last week of February. Unfortunately, details about the pricing of the device are currently unavailable. • Xiaomi CEO Teases The Redmi Note 7 Pro With 6GB RAM, 128 GB Storage

Xiaomi CEO Teases The Redmi Note 7 Pro With 6GB RAM, 128 GB Storage

Earlier this year, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 7 with specs to kill for. A 48 MP camera with a Samsung ISOCELL sensor, 6 GB RAM, Snapdragon 660, It had everything that a smartphone connoisseur could desire. Needless to say, the device stirred up a lot of hype, with almost 100,000 units selling out in less than 11 minutes, as claimed by the Chinese electronics giant. Rumours are in the air that a newer edition of the same phone is on its way.

Rumoured Specs For Redmi Note 7 Pro

The device, which will be called the Redmi Note 7 Pro, is expected to launch with a Sony IMX586 sensor. And today, the company CEO dropped another hint online. When Lu Weibing was asking Redmi’s fans questions regarding their expectations from the Redmi Note 7 Pro, one fan had a rather far-fetched suggestion. “Drop the version with 3GB RAM and 32 GB Internal storage, and just release the 6GB+64GB or 6GB+128GB one.” This sounded like quite a big speculation. But the same reply was later reposted by the Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun. This suggests that Redmi is actually looking towards such a variant on the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

If we put together the rumours, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will probably resemble the Note 7 in a variety of ways. It is expected to retain the same 6.4 inch screen with a similar notch. It will have the same 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4. One of the more exciting things to look forward to is the introduction of a Snapdragon 675 instead of the Snapdragon 660. If this happens, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be the cheapest phone in the segment to provide this chipset.

Redmi Note 7 Pro May Have Snapdragon 675, Price Leaked

Redmi, since becoming a separate brand from it’s parent company Xiaomi has been working towards building a strong portfolio of phones. The Redmi Note 7 recently sold out in a matter of minutes in China and now it seems like new rumours have surfaced regarding the Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi had announced at the Redmi Note 7 launch that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will debut next month.

The Note 7 Pro will reportedly feature a Snapdragon 675 SoC, as reported by a tipster on a popular Chinese social networking website. Like the Note 7, the new Note 7 Pro will also feature a 48-megapixel primary sensor at the back but instead of the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, it will use Sony’s IMX586 primary sensor.

    Redmi Note 7 Specifications

The Redmi Note 7 was launched with a Snapdragon 660 chipset along with an Adreno 512 GPU. The phone’s screen is a 6.3 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 5 for extra protection. The Redmi Note 7 came in two variants. This includes a 64 GB storage, 4 or 6 GB RAM variant as well as a 32 GB storage 3 GB RAM variant. We can expect the Redmi Note 7 Pro to pack atleast 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of space.

Apart from that we can also expect a micro SD card support like the Redmi note 7. Qualcomm had launched the 674 SoC last year and it has support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology. Whether or not the company decides to have wireless charging enabled on the phone we will have to wait and see.

The phone launch is scheduled for sometime around the Chinese New Year next month and according to another tipster, it might cost CNY 1499.
