Penta Camera On The Nokia 9 PureView, What’s All The Hype About?

Cameras on smartphones have evolved so much so that the need for bulky camera equipment including DSLRs and digital cameras have reduced greatly. Apple’s iPhone has been one smartphone that is renowned for its camera quality ever since its launch. Nokia, another leader in smartphone technology has also manufactured devices in the past that had remarkable camera capabilities. One such device is the Nokia 808 PureView from the year 2012 that featured a 41 MP rear camera sensor. Meanwhile, Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC launched the world’s first dual camera smartphone, the EVO 3D. This device kicked off the whole trend of multiple camera sensors on a smartphone. Having multiple cameras on a smartphone can surely provide its camera capabilities with a boost. However, Google with its Pixel lineup of smartphones have time and again proved that it is not necessary to have more than one camera sensors to capture excellent images.

Nokia, now owned by HMD global has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Nokia 9 PureView. The smartphone was launched during the MWC 2019 which was held in Barcelona late last month. The newly launched smartphone is packed with high-end specifications, though its key highlighting feature is certainly the rear mounted Penta camera setup. Long before the launch of the Nokia 9 PureView, there have been boatloads of enigmas surrounding the camera setup it packs. In this article, we will spread some light on the strange-sounding man-made technological marvel to demystify all its element and aspects.

Composition Of The Penta Camera Setup

The Penta camera setup of the Nokia 9 PureView is located on the 2.5d curved rear glass panel. Its alignment mirrors that of a hexagonally shaped constellation. Out of the five sensors, two are RGB sensors that capture the image and video data in colour format. While the remaining three are Monochrome sensors which capture Black and White image and video data. Each of the camera sensors has a resolution of 12 Mega Pixel and use a 28 mm lens. The camera sensors have a pixel size of 1.25µm (ultra micron) which allows in capturing 1.25x the amount of light resulting in better lit pictures.

Uniquely, the Nokia 9 PureView also has a ToF (Time-of-Flight) imaging sensor which enables it in capturing the depth of field (DOF) in an image. As the name suggests, DOF is the distance between the farthest and nearest object in the frame. This additional information captured by the sensor is infused with the pictures captured with the five sensors resulting in an image that looks multi-dimensional. This image focuses mainly on the subject while de-emphasizing the other background elements. Supplementary, the focus of images captured on the Nokia 9 PureView can be readjusted after clicking the picture if need be.

    Distinctive Camera Features

The Nokia 9 PureView, unlike most other smartphones, can also capture images in RAW and DNG format. This feature could be the sole reason to distinguish the newly launched device from its competition. RAW images, also referred to as ‘digital negatives’ are essentially unprocessed data that the sensor captures. RAW files preserve the most amount of information about an image and generally contain more colours and dynamic range than other formats. The prominent advantages of capturing images in the RAW file format are as follows:

    • RAW files contain full JPEG previews that were processed by the camera sensor dependent on the chosen settings.
    • In addition to basic exposure information, RAW files also store other camera-specific data such as picture controls and focus point.

DNG images are similar to RAW files except for the fact it is proprietary format developed by Adobe. Therefore, the software developed by Adobe including Lightroom can be used to manipulate DNG images. Additionally, DNG images can be previewed on most devices without the need for special software, unlike RAW format images. Noteworthy, the Nokia 9 can also edit both DNG and RAW format images.

    Software and AI Algorithms

The Nokia 9 PureView with the combination of five cameras collects up to times more light in comparison to a single smartphone camera colour sensor. The smartphone captures images concurrently from all five sensors which with the help of software and AI algorithms are processed to produce the best output. Notably, the fusion process takes upto 30 seconds and occasionally, even longer. Nokia has partnered with a company called Light that in the year 2019 launched the L16 camera with 16 lenses. Nokia claims that the hardware and software of the Nokia 9 PureView work in perfect harmony to produce the greatest output achievable.

Nokia 9 Camera Sample Spotted On Instagram, Looks Amazing

Nokia is will soon launch several smartphones which include the highly anticipated Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 1 Plus, and Nokia 6.2. The company has scheduled its press conference on the 24th of February in Barcelona which is a day before the MWC 2019 kicks off. A senior Nokia executive has shared an admirable picture of a scenic landscape on Instagram which was captured and edited on the Nokia 9 PureView.

    About The Camera Sample

The image has been geotagged in Scotland, and it shows an amazing landscape with a variety of exposure and light settings in the same picture. The picture intends to display the capabilities of Penta Camera Module present in the Nokia 9 PureView. Going by the initial impressions, the device might just secure a spot in the tight niche of extraordinary smartphone cameras in the market.

    https://www.instagram.com/p/BuL3OeOA20u/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Since Instagram doesn’t allow images of over 1080 pixels to be uploaded, the image’s compression might deprive users of some important aspects of the picture. Nonetheless, the composition can be appreciated owing to the crisp colour balance, darkness and highlights.

Nokia’s Penta lens setup has been the talk of the town since its revelation last year. With a distinctive arrangement, the 5 camera lenses may use computational photography to generate high quality images. The HMD Global owned brand teamed up with Zeiss to patent a ‘miniaturized zoom camera’ system, which forms the basis of the Nokia 9’s camera.

    Expected Specifications

The Nokia 9 may sport a 5.99 inch AMOLED display with a 2960×1440 px resolution. The smartphone will have Gorilla Glass protection which will safeguard it against scratches and accidental drops. It will run on the Snapdragon 845 chipset, which consists of an octa-core CPU paired with an Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone is speculated to be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants which will be paired with 128GB of internal storage. Reportedly it will be powered a 4150 mAh battery which will be charged via a USB Type-C port. Past leaks have claimed that the smartphone will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and IP68 dust and water resistance.

  • Nokia 9 Leaked Through Android Enterprise Listing

Nokia 9 Leaked Through Android Enterprise Listing

The next Nokia flagship, the Nokia 9 has been leaked into oblivion. The smartphone has been much anticipated, mostly due to its Penta-camera setup. It was earlier leaked then announced that the smartphone will make an appearance at the Mobile World Congress or MWC 2019 in Barcelona this month. But more details about the device hadn’t been confirmed. That was until now. The official Android Enterprise listing has seemingly confirmed the existence of the  Nokia 9.

The Android Enterprise listing also confirmed some of the specifications of the device and how the device is going to look like, at least from the front. The listing seems to have been taken down now. This is the first time an official listing has been found. This confirms the fact that the launch of the device is imminent.

    Nokia 9 Specifications

The Nokia 9 is the newest flagship by the legendary brand. According to Android Enterprise listing, It will feature a 6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 px. There will be no notch or punch hole in sight, due to the bezels on the top and bottom. Under the hood, the device will have a Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is a year old at this point. What is surprising is the existence of 4GB of RAM with 128GB of Storage. This refutes the earlier leaks claiming the device will have more RAM. However, there is a possibility that there will be a variant with more RAM and storage. The device will have Android 9 Pie with Android One certification on board.

The highlight of the phone will be the five cameras at the back. It was reported last year that Light and Nokia are working on a multiple camera setup for smartphones. This seems to be it, with the Nokia 9 having the advantage of Light’s computational photography. The lenses and their specs are unknown at this point, but there is a 41MP or higher sensor expected in the device. One interesting feature will be the introduction of the In-Display Fingerprint scanner in the Nokia 9. The phone will also support NFC for mobile payments.

HMD seems to understand that and is trying to revive the old glory of Nokia. And while they aren’t as successful in making a good flagship yet, they have been trying it constantly. One such phone is the Nokia 9 PureView, which has been leaked into oblivion. The phone is expected to be the next flagship from the brand and we finally have some news. HMD has sent media invites for an event on February 24 in Barcelona. The launch event will finally see the launch of the Nokia 9 PureView.

The phone will be launched on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress or MWC that happens every year in Barcelona. Nokia also, launched four phones in total at MWC last year. This year would be no different. The event could also see the launch of a mid-range Nokia device and a feature phone reboot.

    Nokia 9 PureView Specifications

A video was leaked earlier, confirming almost all the specifications of the device. the Nokia 9 PureView is said to have a 6-inch AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU. However, Nokia may be planning to announce a 5G-compatible version of the same device in the future with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. There will be a penta-camera setup, the details of which are unknown at the moment. Also, The phone will support fast charging and get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack. There will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on board.

As far as pricing goes, the phone is expected to cost around $749. Indian price could be under Rs. 50,000. Also, The phone looks great and can put Nokia back in the flagship game. What is yet to be seen, is the capability of the cameras. If they are as good as the original Pureview cameras, the phone may be a breakout success.

Nokia Might Debut The Nokia 9 Pureview And Nokia 6.2 At MWC 2019

Nokia has been teasing a flagship level device, the Nokia 9 PureView for a long time. The upcoming phone carries the PureView branding which implies that it will have a focus on photography. The device will sport a Penta rear camera set up that will make it stand out from the competition. The launch of the Nokia 9 PureView is long overdue as the company has missed several expected launch dates. A tweet shared by a Nokia executive indicates that the company might officially launch the device at MWC 2019 which is scheduled for 25–28 February 2019. Except for the showstopper, the company might also launch the Nokia 6.2 that is rumoured to have a punch-hole camera.

    Nokia 9 Specifications

The Nokia 9 PureView has leaked on several instances that have revealed its key specifications. Reportedly, the smartphone features a 5.9-inch display with QHD+ resolution. Under the hood, it is suspected to feature the Snapdragon 845 SoC which consists of an Octa-Core CPU and Adreno 630 GPU. A leak from the past suggests that the Nokia 9 PureView will have 8 GB RAM + 128 GB of ROM and it will be powered by a 4,150 mAh battery.

    Nokia 9 PureView Camera Technology

Light is an American digital photography company that had launched the remarkable Light L16 camera. As the name suggests, the L16 has 16 camera sensors that add up to a 52-megapixel image that could zoom without pixelation. The company has lately put a page online that explains how the software and hardware for several camera sensors work together. Surprisingly the images shared on the page are reminiscent of the Penta camera setup on Nokia 9 PureView. Furthermore, Light is a partner of FIH Mobile, HMD’s manufacturing partner and surprisingly the co-founder and CEO of Light, Dave Grannan worked for Nokia from 2004 to 2007. Adding the cues from different sources suggest that camera technology on the Nokia 9 PureView is possibly developed by Light.

Nokia is reportedly working on a camera-centric smartphone, the Nokia 9 PureView. The specifications and accessories of the smartphone have leaked on several instances. A latest leak of the Nokia 9 PureView provides detailed information about the design of the smartphone. The renders of the smartphone were shared on Twitter by notorious leakster EvLeaks.

    Nokia 9 PureView Design

The Nokia 9 PureView seems to have an all glass front and back build with an aluminum chassis. The aluminum chassis has chamfered edges that look very attractive. The front of the Nokia 9 PureView has a large screen display with minimal right and left bezels. However, the top and bottom bezels are quite notable. The top bezel of the smartphone accommodates a single selfie camera, earpiece, light sensors, and the Nokia branding. Most notably, the display of the Nokia 9 PureView has a fingerprint indicator that states the smartphone will have an In-display fingerprint sensor.

The glass back of the Nokia 9 PureView tapers towards the sides and houses it’s key highlighting feature, the five camera setup. Additionally, the rear of the smartphone carries the Nokia logo and the android one marking. The android one marking ensures that the smartphone will receive prolonged Android updates. The five rear camera setup has an unconventional placement and reportedly each camera lens will serve a dedicated purpose. • Nokia 9 PureView And Nokia 8.1 Cases Get Listed, Might Launch In December

Nokia 9 PureView And Nokia 8.1 Cases Get Listed, Might Launch In December

HMD Global has teased the launch of three of its smartphones at its ‘Expect More’ event scheduled for December 5th. The event will most probably see the launch of the Nokia 2.1 Plus, the Nokia 8.1 and the Nokia 9 PureView. A recent leak has shown the covers for the Nokia 9 and the Nokia 8.1 listed online. This mostly confirms that we will see these two devices launching at the event.

    Nokia 9 PureView

The Nokia 9 PureView is one of the most anticipated phones this year. This is so because of its unique penta camera setup and a host of flagship features. These features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a large display and a huge battery. The icing on the cake is obviously the penta camera setup, which is a patented technology by Zeiss.

The leaked case of the Nokia 9 shows slots for the penta camera setup on the back. The lack of a cutout for the fingerprint sensor on the back of the case makes it clear that the phone will indeed have an in-display fingerprint sensor. At the bottom of the case, we can see slots for what appear to be a USB Type-C port, speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The headphone jack is a pretty sensitive topic these days. The inclusion of one will surely win over some more fans fro HMD.

Some more of the rumoured specs of the Nokia 9.1 include a 5.9 inch OLED display with a QHD resolution and 3D glass. The device is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. You can read everything we know about the Nokia 9 here.

    Nokia 8.1  Specs & Price

The Nokia 8.1 is said to be the global version of the Nokia X7 which was launched in China last month. The device is a mid-range phone and packs great features along with a solid design. Based on the specs of the Nokia X7, we can predict what the Nokia 8.1 will have. The Nokia 8.1 has a 6.18 inch FHD+ LCD display. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC with the Adreno 616 GPU with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants. • Nokia 9 With Penta Camera Setup To Launch Soon

Nokia 9 With Penta Camera Setup To Launch Soon

Just as we thought that all the major launches for the year were done and dusted, reports about the Nokia 9’s imminent launch surface. The Nokia 9 is exciting and highly anticipated, for 5 reasons; It’s penta camera setup. Jokes aside, this is one of the biggest design changes in a year full of big design changes. 2018 saw the adoption of in-display fingerprint sensors, sliding camera modules, and the addition of more lenses to the camera setup. But how many lenses are too many lenses, and does a smartphone need them at all?

    Nokia 9

The Nokia 9 made headlines a few months ago when a hands-on image of the device leaked, showing off its penta camera setup. While the setup is impressive, it is equally peculiar as well. The setup features three vertically aligned lenses, likes of which we’ve seen before, however they are a bit spaced out. Accompanying these are two more lenses placed to the sides of the vertical setup. These are placed adjacent to what appears to be two flash modules. This setup does look like something out of a sci-fi movie, but the fact that it is a patented design by Zeiss, adds to the legitimacy of the leak.

    Specifications

The patented design by Zeiss is called ‘Miniature Zoom Camera’. This uses an array of multiple smaller lenses in a circle instead of singular or dual, larger sensors. The setup is said to consist of an image sensor and a normal lens. Along with a secondary group of ‘rotating lenses’ with varying focal lengths. Apart from the unique camera setup, the Nokia 9 is said to have a 6 inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will  run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8 GB of RAM. It is also said to have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Apart from this, it will have 256 GB of inbuilt storage and a 3,900 mAh battery.

Apart from the aforementioned features, it is also said to run on the Android One OS. The device is also exciting as it will be one of the first devices to carry the PureView trademark after HMD Global reacquired the same. It is well known that a smartphone with a PureView trademark never disappoints in the camera department. And with a Nokia-Zeiss collaboration, we can expect something great.

The device had gone underground for a while, but sources say that HMD had done so to ensure that there were no further leaks about the device. The Nokia 9 is the next flagship from HMD and is highly anticipated due to its long list of features. According to sources, the device can be expected to launch 3-4 weeks from now.

The specifications are based on various leaks and the official specs will only be revealed after the launch of the devices.

    Google Pixel 3

The upcoming flagship devices from Google is one of the most and least anticipated phones. The reason being that even though they will be great devices, a series of leaks have laid the devices bare before us. With unboxing videos and reviews doing rounds of the vast internet, the only thing which is possibly left to know is the price. The Google Pixel series is the only one to have stuck to a single lens camera setup, even in 2019. This does not make the devices dated or dull the camera performance.

The Google Pixel 2 has one of the best smartphone cameras out there, despite the fact that it has been an year since its launch. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will continue to carry what has now become a signature single camera setup. However, Google has given in to another trend from the smartphone industry. The infamous notch. The larger, Google Pixel 3 XL has a huge notch while the Pixel 3 will sport a more conventional design.

Both the devices will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The phones will have a 5.4 inch  display. Both pixel phones will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of Storage in the base variants. OnePlus 6T

The OnePlus 6T is going to launch on October 16 and fans cannot contain their excitement. The upcoming device will see major changes such as the presence if an In-display fingerprint sensor and a water drop notch. A ‘T’ upgrade does not usually see such changes. Upgrades in terms of camera, battery and speed are possible, making the device even more appealing. However, OnePlus has let go of the headphone jack and the decision does not sit well with some fans. But, it is highly improbable that the someone would shun this device over a headphone jack.

The device will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and have 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will have 512 GB of storage as OnePlus does not offer microSD card support with its devices. It has a 6.41 inch Super AMOLED display with a tiny waterdrop notch. The device will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and has a 3,700 mAh battery.

The OnePlus 6T will launch on October 17.

The design is in a square with the LED flash filling in the last spot in the box. The device will run on the Kirin 980 SoC as announced by Huawei. The Kirin 980 is the next flagship from Huawei and is manufactured by the 7nm process. Huawei claims that the Kirin 980 is faster than Apple’s latest A12 Bionic chip.

The device has a 6.3 inch screen with a tiny, water drop notch. Along with the Kirin 980, it has the Mali G76 MP10 GPU, an AI processing Unit and DDR4 RAM. Under the hood, it has a 4,000 mAh battery . It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The cameras range from f/1.8 to f/2.4 in terms of aperture and have varying focal lengths from 16 mm to 80 mm.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is set to launch on October 16.

    Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro is set to be the next big thing from Samsung. The device is said to feature a quad camera setup, a first for the company which recently launched the Galaxy A7 with a triple camera. Nokia Shares A Mysterious Teaser Ahead Of Nokia 7.1 Plus Launch

HMD Global is set to launch a new Nokia smartphone tomorrow. In the run up to this launch, it has posted a teaser on twitter, that sure has everyone confused. The event will see the launch of the Nokia 7.1 Plus and maybe the flagship Nokia 9 PureView.

The post ends with the silhouette of a smartphone and the date of the launch. This could mean that we will see the launch of just the Nokia 7.1 Plus tomorrow. However, a surprise from Nokia could also be on the way in the form of the Nokia 9. HMD Global had recently acquired the PureView trademark and it is rumoured that it will be using it in the upcoming Nokia 9 flagship. This adds strength to the rumours that the Nokia 9 has a penta camera setup.

    Nokia 7.1 Plus:

The Nokia 7.1 Plus has been subject to many leaks before its launch, with the latest taking place today. According to the alleged renders, the device has a notch on its display and a dual camera setup along with a fingerprint reader on the back. The Nokia 7.1 Plus is reported to have a 5.84 inch IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 2244 x 1080 px resolution display. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options. It will have microSD card support with 32 GB and 64 GB memory options.

The device is said to have a 12 MP + 5 MP rear camera setup and a 8 MP front camera. Along with this, a report claims that the price of the upcoming device has been leaked and that it will start at around Rs 29,000 in India.

    Nokia 9 PureView:

Although we might not see this smartphone being launched tomorrow, we are adding it as a bonus. The device has picked up a lot fo attention due to its unique penta camera setup. While the design isn’t appealing to many, the functionality of the 5 cameras could be something to look out for. The design is already patented by Zeiss, which adds strength to the rumours. Also, recent reports stating that the Nokia 9 will carry the PureView trademark push the odds in favour of such a device. The PureView trademark is only carried by devices which have a groundbreaking camera setup. Therefore, a lot can be expected form the Nokia 9.

  • New Nokia Smartphone Launching On 4th October

New Nokia Smartphone Launching On 4th October

HMD Global has sent out invites for its launch event which will be held on 4th October in London. The invite announces that a new addition to the Nokia smartphone family will be made on the launch. This leaves us with two possible smartphones which might be launched, the Nokia 7.1 Plus or the Nokia 9 flagship device.

The Nokia 7.1 Plus is set to make its global debut soon and the device has popped up on various websites and forums. Recent leaks have also given us a good look a the device. It is highly unlikely that we might see the Nokia 9 device so soon. This is because of the possible delay in production and also the fact that the Nokia 8 Sirocco was launched earlier this year and is the current flagship for Nokia as of now. If we do see the Nokia 9 this year, it will be a great surprise.

    Nokia 7.1 Plus Leaked Render

The Nokia 7.1 Plus is set to be the successor to the popular Nokia 7 device which was launched earlier this year. The leaked renders do show us some external design changes which set it aside from the previous device. The Nokia 7.1 Plus has a notch, unlike its predecessor but sports a similar chin. The chin also houses the Nokia branding. The device also has a rear fingerprint scanner and a dual camera setup with a Zeiss lens. It also has the Android One branding on its back.

The device has a glass design, as we can see from the images. It is rumoured that the device will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC.

    Nokia 9 Specifications:

The highlight of the Nokia 9 is its rumoured penta camera setup. This places five lenses in the rear camera setup, which is a patented technology by Zeiss. The device is also rumoured to have a 6 inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Reports suggest that the device will run on the Snapdragon 845 SoC and has 8 GB of RAM.

Other than this, the device is said to have a 3900 mAh battery, IP68 certification and 256 GB of storage. You can read in detail about the Nokia 9 here.

Nokia 9 Display Assembly Leaked, 5 Camera Setup And More

After reports surfacing about the Nokia 9’s massive battery, the display assembly of the upcoming flagship has been leaked. At first glance, we can see that the device is not sporting the popular notch and has stuck to a conventional design format.

This does not mean that HMD isn’t making design improvements. The chin doesn’t seem to be very broad and the bezels present on the device seem to be absolutely necessary for the functionality. This leaves the Nokia 9 with an impressive screen to body ratio, despite not having a notch.

Just yesterday, a leak had added to the list of possible features that the Nokia 9 may have. This is a massive 4150 mAh battery to go along with its penta camera setup and in display fingerprint scanner. If we consider all of these to be true and see the actual Nokia 9 with these features, it could be two steps in the right direction from HMD and Nokia.

    Specifications:

The device will have a 6 inch AMOLED display with an in display fingerprint scanner, according to reports. The lack of a fingerprint scanner in the leaked image could point to the same. The device has the Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8 GB of RAM, according to reports. Along with this, it will reportedly have IP68 certification, 256 GB of storage and a 3900 mAh battery. The device will reportedly run Android One, giving a stock android experience.

    Launch:

The launch of this highly anticipated device could be sooner than you thought. Reports tell us that the Nokia 9 had passed testing and entered production in August. If these are accurate, we should be seeing the launch in this month or the next. However, the same source also claims that HMD might be a bit behind schedule as it is very strict with the quality measures when it comes to the Nokia 9. Therefore, HMD might not start shipping the device or even reveal it until a considerable number of Nokia 9’s with no issues are produced.

Nokia 9 May Have Massive Battery And Penta Camera Setup

The leaks surrounding the Nokia 9 have been increasing, and so has the excitement. The latest images give us another look at the rather unorthodox design and also a hint that the device will be packing a massive battery.  Adding to this, with the penta camera setup, Nokia’s flagship is turning out to be more exciting with each leak.

This image shows off the penta camera setup and also mentions a massive 4150 mAh battery. This probably means that we could be seeing a bigger device. The highlight of the Nokia 9 has been the penta camera setup. For those unfamiliar with this, it refers to a setup with 5 rear lenses. This is very similar to the ‘Miniature Zoom Camera’ patent held by Zeiss. It is well known that Zeiss has been the choice for cameras when it comes to Nokia devices. Therefore, it is safe to assume that this leak is somewhat true.

    Nokia 9

The technology by Zeiss uses an arrangement of multiple smaller lenses in a circle. This consists of an image sensor, normal lenses and a second group of rotating lenses with different focal lengths. Therefore, these would ensure different zoom levels without the need to use a larger module. In the pictures, we can see three vertically arranges sensors, and two on the sides. These are accompanied by a flash.

All these specifications put together, make the Nokia 9 a very exciting device, if the leaks turn out to be true. The upcoming flagship by HMD is expected to launch towards the end of this year. This could be a possible game changer for Nokia and HMD and speed up its slow comeback into the smartphone market.
