At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018), HMD Global unveiled as many as five devices. While the Nokia 7 Plus and 8 Sirocco look like great devices and the Banana Phone is a nice throwback, the event lacked a true flagship unveiling. That is because the Nokia 8 Sirocco still runs on the Snapdragon 835. However, MWC 2018 saw the launch of a few Snapdragon 845 powered devices.
The Nokia 9 will be that flagship device could be announced by mid-2018. There were a lot of leaks and renders prior to MWC 2018 pertaining to the smartphone. However, none of that came to fruition. But, new concept renders of the Nokia 9 [...]
The Apple iPhone X introduced a new design language to the iPhone lineup. After three generations of very similar looking devices, the iPhone X represented what the future of iPhones would be. And that future includes a notch on the display. Panned at first and appreciated later, the notch on the iPhone X has gained quite the status since September 2017. So much so that the Mobile World Congress 2018 saw plenty of iPhone X clones being unveiled.
Even Google introduced support for a notch in the first developer preview of Android P. This means that the notch is here to stay and Google wants as many apps as possible to be acclimatised with the new aspect ratio. A new report [...]

Over the past couple of years, smartphones have increasingly become “camera phones.” Companies know that a few hardware or software frailties can be overshadowed by a solid camera performance, the biggest example being the Pixel smartphones of both the generations. With the iPhone 7 Plus, the trend of a dual-camera setup caught on and in today’s market, a smartphone that costs Rs. 10,999 has a quad-camera setup (two on the back and two on the front).
Nokia, according to a report, is willing to challenge this industry trend by introducing a Penta-lens smartphone at MWC 2018. Apparently, the device has [...]

Ever since its return to the fore, HMD Global-owned Nokia has had a flourishing restart in the smartphone industry with a slew of launches in 2017. The most noticeable one in India was the launch of the Nokia 8 back in August with its dual-camera setup and vibrant colour variants. However, the design of the Nokia 8 did not represent the trend of 2017, thin bezels and a tall display. It appears that Nokia will rectify that with its early-2018 launch of the Nokia 9.
The image was leaked on the Chinese social networking website, Weibo and represents the design shift that Nokia will make in order to have a more modern-looking smartphone. While there are phones with a [...]

The rumours of Nokia 9 have been doing the rounds for quite some time now and new renders show a 360-degree view of the smartphone.
The Nokia 8, although a flagship, has thick bezels around the display which a lot of 2017 flagships don’t. The Nokia 9 renders show a more modern look with thin bezels. The dual-camera setup retains its place and the fingerprint sensor is moved to the back. As far as rumoured specifications go, the Nokia 9 in all likeliness will feature a [...]
