Motorola is expected to revive the much appreciated Moto Razr flip phone which was first introduced in the year 2006. The device will arrive as a foldable smartphone from the company and will be a premium offering. While the company itself confirmed the existence of the device a few weeks ago, there were no details shared. Fresh reports have surfaced online that exhibit the specifications of the upcoming device.
Motorola Razr Specifications

The Razr foldable smartphone from Motorola will be its first foldable device in the market. Previous leaks and reports suggested that the device is codenamed ‘Voyager’ and will release soon. They also revealed how it may look like. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X which fold horizontally, the Moto Razr will have a vertically folding display which will measure 6.2 inches when in its unfolded state and will utilize an OLED panel. The display panel will have a resolution of 2142 x 876 px and an unusually tall aspect ratio. The secondary display present on the outside will have a resolution of 800 x 600 px but unfortunately, its size is unknown as of now. For swiftly and securely unlocking the handset, it will also have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Reports claim that the cover display on the upcoming Motorola Razr will be limited to certain applications. It is likely to be used for operating the following features on the device:
- Accessing camera controls.
- Using its a trackpad for applications that can be browsed vertically.
- Accessing Quick Settings tiles.
- Launching Google Assistant
- Displaying the clock widget and unread notifications
- Controlling media including music

Under the hood, the Motorola Razr is reported to run on the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. The chipset consists of an Octa-core CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. While the details on the smartphone’s optics are not known yet, the leaked image suggests it will have a single camera which will be located on the top half. Accordingly, the camera sensor can also be used to click selfies. In terms of memory and storage, the smartphone will be available in the following variants:
- 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM
- 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM
The Motorola Razr will be powered by a 2,730mAh battery with support for fast charging. The smartphone will be available in three colours, namely White, Black and Gold. The first look of the game is now out, thanks to Warner Bros. and Niantic Games. The primary mission of the game is to save non-magic folk (also known as Muggles) from evil wizards, and capture them all before they cause any more havoc. The players will play as a recruit of the Statue of Secrecy Task Force, which is a venture by the Ministry of Magic and the International Confederation of Wizards to lock down all the rogue wizards that threaten the sanctity of the wizarding world.
The game will also introduce “Spell Energy” to limit how much users can play in a given stretch of time. Once a player runs out of Spell Energy, he/she won’t be able to cast spells until the Spell energy is replenished at “Inns” by collecting food items and drinks. Also, the player can brew potions to help him/her during battles and travelling. The items required for brewing can be found around the map, and their availability depends on the environment (such as weather, time of day).
