Apple will launch the next versions of the iPhone on 12th September 2018. The phones are expected to be based primarily on the iPhone X and launched as incremental updates. One of the expected iPhones to launch in 2018 is a new “affordable 6.1 inch variant. This may as well be dubbed the iPhone 9.

The 6.1 inch iPhone is expected to have an LCD display allow for comparatively more affordable pricing with respect to the flagship iPhones it will launch with.
