Intel has officially announced the 8th generation Core i3, i5, i7, and Core i9 processor for laptops at a global event in Beijing. Additionally, the company also announced next-generation Intel Optane memory that can deliver high performance even on older PCs. These processors will be available across the globe for notebook manufacturers. The manufacturers are most likely to launch notebooks based on these chipsets by Q2 2018.

Apple’s WWDC conference is live and the company has announced refreshed Macbook Air and MacBook Pro Lineup.
The Macbook Air will come with Ivy Bridge with 2GHz Core i7, with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz. The FaceTime camera is now 720p, the display on the 11-inch model now 1366 x 768 + Intel’s HD graphics 4000. The 13-incher will 1440 x 900 2 xUSB 3.0 ports
Prices will start at $999 for 11 inch basic.

The new X-Note Z330 is only 14.7mm (0.58-inches) in thickness, 1.21kg (2.67 pounds) in weight and has a SSD that makes it an extremely versatile machine. The Ultra-book comes with the Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 options with 4GB of Ram and SSD b/w 120GB and 256GB. The portable computer will also include as standard HDMI and USB 3.0 along with Intel’s Widi for wireless streaming. A whole new range of ultra books from HP reinforce their future in the domain. The new Folio notebooks/ultrabooks start at $900 and come standard with a 128GB mSATA SSD and a backlit keyboard. The battery life is estimated at 9 hours. The new Folio has a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) display, TPM circuitry as an option and a Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of RAM, a six-cell battery and HP’s CoolSense technology.It also has the now standard HDMI, Ethernet, USB 2.0 and 3.0, a memory card reader and a combined headphone / mic socket.

As was expected the new iMac refres has been in the mill for quite some time, and Apple has officially annouced and started shipment of its new iMac 2011 Lineup. The new revision will feature the same starting price of US $ 1,199/- for the 21.5 inch mac with 1920 by 1080 pixel iPS Display and 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5. With specs going upto 3.4 Ghz Core- i7 on the iMac 27 inch.
The new revision brings single thunderbolt port to the 21.5 inch and a dual thunderbolt to 27 inch iMacs.
