Micromax has launched the Dual 5 in India as a part of a new series of phones in the “Dual” brand. The Micromax Dual 5 gets it’s name from the dual camera setup at the back. The phones sports two 13 MP Sony sensors. Of the sensors one is a colour and one a monochrome sensor, you also get F / 1.8 aperture and a Pixel size of 1.12u. The camera setup also has  PDAF and a Corning glass lens surface with a 6 lens type structure and a dedicated color temperature sensor which allows for accurate colour in the images.

Micromax still is one of the largest smartphone vendors in the country, while their premium and flagships did not do so well in 2016, the company sold a large number of entry level smartphones and feature phones.
