OnePlus will soon introduce Google Duo as its native video calling service throughout the OxygenOS ecosystem. This comes after the Chinese smartphone company announced in a blog post of an update that will be available to a few OnePlus 6/6T users. This will initially be a closed beta update which will roll out as a stable build later. It will also be introduced to older devices in the future update.

Google is finally bringing a feature that has been in the iOS ecosystem for a while, video calling without leaving your phone app. Apple devices have had this feature for a while and it’s been appreciated by the users as well. Google posted a blog on October 12th to announce that it has integrated video calling feature in its Phone, Contacts and Android Messenger app.
