At an event in China, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its latest mid-range smartphones, the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. The devices are the successor to the Honor 8X series launched last year and features notable improvements in the design and performance department. The handsets have been launched in the Chinese market for now, with global availability expected to be announced soon.

Honor will soon launch the 9X and 9X Pro mid range smartphone duo. The upcoming devices are the successors to the 8X series that was launched in Q3 of 2018. Here is the first look of the official images for Honor 9X and 9X Pro dug up by researchers on iGyaan.

The Honor 9X and 9X Pro will be equipped with the newly unveiled HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC and offer up to 8GB of RAM. Internal storage options can be configured up to 256GB and a microSD card slot may be provided as well. Honor has been long anticipated to launch a couple of mid-range smartphones which will succeed the sensational Honor 8X from 2018. As per reports, the new handsets will be dubbed the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro.
