The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite which was launched as the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth in China back in September has been spotted on Geekbench recently and it seems like the phone may come to India with Android 9 Pie out of the box! But there is also a possibility that the company might be testing their MIUI custom skin on some devices. There are a number of different Mi 8 editions as well. They include Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Pro.

Xiaomi has added to its lineup of Mi 8 smartphones with two new devices. The Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite were launched at an event held in China. The highlight is the in-display fingerprint scanner in the Mi 8 Pro, which shares most of its features with the existing Mi 8.

The device is available in two variants. It has a 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variant with 128 GB of internal storage. These variants are priced at CNY 3199 and CNY 3599 which are around Rs 33,703 and Rs 37,755 respectively. The Mi 8 Lite carries a lesser array of features as the name suggests.
