After numerous teasers and leaks, the Mi CC9 lineup of smartphones from Xiaomi is now official. The company has announced three handsets in the lineup which includes CC9, CC9 Meitu edition and CC9e (essential edition). The first two devices in the lineup have similar specifications with the key differences being a tweaked camera and exclusive colour option on the Meitu edition. On the other hand, the CC9e is a watered-down variant of the regular device with a smaller display and a less powerful chipset.

According to the company, the “CC” suffix stands for “Chic and Cool” and it corresponds with companies philosophy of this lineup. The Mi CC9 [...]
