Xiaomi launched its second iteration of the mid-range phablet lineup, the Mi Max 2 in India on July 18th. The smartphone went on sale on Xiaomi’s official website for a price of Rs14999 for the 32GB onboard storage variant. On September 20th, the Mi Max 2 will go on sale on Amazon India for the first time and will be priced at Rs 12999 for the 32GB storage variant.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a 6.4 inch 1920 x 1080 px display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for added protection. Xiaomi’s Mi Max 2 is the largest smartphone manufactured by Xiaomi and a successor to the Mi Max which was highly successful for the company in China as well as in India.
The Mi Max 2 has a large 6.44 inch 1920 x 1080p display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. The new design is also more rounded off and has the antenna lines on the back placed like they are on an iPhone 7.
The Mi Max 2 is made to last with its big 5300 mAh battery which lasts a whole day and then some. Running everything is a Snapdragon 625 with an Octa Core 2.0 GHz setup along with Adreno 506 GPU.
