The August 23 launch of Samsung Galaxy Note8 was one of the most anticipated events of the year and Samsung unveiled a worthy successor to the Galaxy Note7. The South Korean smartphone maker announced that customers have pre-ordered the Galaxy Note8 more than any other Note device ever sold by the company.
The steep price of USD 930 had cast a shadow of doubt over the success of the phone, but, Samsung tried to justify that price by bundling a DeX dock and Samsung Gear products for the first few pre-orders. Samsung also announced heavy discounts for previous owners of Galaxy Note7 who traded in their current devices. There were reports that the Galaxy Note8 in South Korea has [...]
Samsung is trying to get the business buyers excited with the upcoming Note8, since they are going to be a big chunk of the prospective owners with a massive Rs. 74999 price tag (rumored). Samsung will bundle a DeX Dock with the Galaxy Note 8 Early orders, a value of almost Rs. 10,000, plus every Note8 buyer will get 100GB of data with Airtel and/or Jio according to our sources. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 will launch in about a week in India. Which is the Same day as the official announcement of the iPhone 8. Samsung really wants to push its DeX hub to potential Note 8 buyers. The first iteration of the DeX didn’t do well, and with revisions Samsung claims that the DeX is faster [...]
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 renders are a thing of past. It’s time to move on to a much more realistic Galaxy Note 8 dummy. Samsung’s flagship device is less than a week away from its official launch and the dummy gives a good look at exactly what to expect from the unreleased phone.
The latest leak shows the Galaxy Note 8 from various angles – rear, front, bottom and sides. The dummy of the smartphone appears to be in line with the past rumours and leaks. As earlier speculated, the Galaxy Note 8 dummy features an Infinity display, similar to the Galaxy S8. The images show a horizontally placed dual lens camera along with the heart rate sensor and the [...]
Samsung is hosting an “Unpacked” event on 23rd August and many are anticipating the glitzy reveal of the new Galaxy Note 8. Though the press invite didn’t disclose the name of the device, but, the words “Samsung’s newest mobile device.” makes it quite obvious.
Recently, the Galaxy Note 8’s “Midnight Black” colour variant was leaked in a tweet. Now another colour variant of Samsung’s flagship device has surfaced. The tweet shows a leaked image of the Galaxy Note 8 in a “Deep Sea Blue” colour with the Note series S-Pen stylus.

Samsung’s next big launch of the Galaxy Note 8 is around the corner. With the company prepping for the August launch, a whole bunch of leaks have surfaced for the mega flagship from the company. The Note series will continue on despite the recall of the Galaxy Note 7 last year. The company plans to launch some exciting new things with the Note 8 , which will not only excite consumers but make them lighter by about US $ 1000 or more.
The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be based on the design and build of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, think of wider Galaxy S8+ but with an S-Pen. The company will launch the Galaxy Note 8 with a lot of firsts, it will be the first [...]
The state of affairs are poor for Samsung Mobile, as the company deals with its biggest disaster yet. The Note 7 has truly turned out to be a problem for the brand, an expensive problem at that.
The reported recall and disposal of the Note 7, will cost the parent company a whopping $5.3 Billion. However Samsung has assured its investors that it plans to recover the losses in less than three quarters after the Note 7 process is complete.
Samsung claims it will expand sales of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge and will not be releasing updated versions of those devices. Samsung has recalled 1.9 million Note 7 units in the US , 200,000 phones in China and about half [...]
Samsung has confirmed that they will be putting the Note 7 to rest the old fashioned way. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units will be completely disposed off, as it seems Samsung wants no reminder of its failings. Samsung has already adjusted its quarterly estimates to account for $2 billion in losses.
The reality is that, short of Apple’s new recycling initiatives, smartphones are not really recycled. They end up in landfills causing huge environmental damage. Samsung has in all manufactured over 2 million Note 7s, and inefficient manufacturing along with no plans of smartphone recycling make the difficult-to-mine rare earth elements, like gold, silver, copper, platinum [...]
The Note 7 is Dead and with it Samsung has essentially lost market share, customer loyalty and a whole lot of goodwill for the fiasco, not to mention billions of dollars of losses and enormous environmental trash. But, in a last ditch effort to save face with Samsung owners atleast in the US, Samsung is offering US $ 100 in Samsung Credit (for future purchases) to those who exchange the Galaxy Note 7 with another Samsung device.
Samsung will still give you just $25 if you decide to rather switch to Apple, HTC or any other brand. The best option might be to avoid the exchange and get a full refund where available.
The Note 7 is not the only device affected with the [...]
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 amid battery explosion controversy and the global recall has left a bad taste in the buyers mouth. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is an amazing phone (minus the fact that it might blow up) and till date has been rated as the best Android smartphone only to succeed the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will make it’s comeback once the company has managed to fix this problem, till then we decided to unbox the stealthy all black Galaxy Note 7 Duos (dual sim variant). The dual-SIM phone is not the variant that will launch in markets like India, however, the specifications and features remain identical (apart from the [...]
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 seems to be the talk of the hour, where recent leaked images point towards a smartphone with a dual curve display, more like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will also supposedly run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with two display options, a 1080p variant for possibly those on a budget along with a QHD or 2K display for those not willing to mind their pockets.
More leaks for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 point towards a dual camera setup along with a 6 GB and 128 GB setup offering up with the SD 821 mentioned earlier.
