Just recently The Playstation Network Restoration began across the Americas. Sony’s official PlayStation Twitter account has now confirmed that the deployment is going live for the entire world. The deployment process involves users to reset their PSN passwords and hence a major network blackout has been caused by millions of users trying to restore their PSN accounts.
Sony today announced the NEXT GENERATION PS PORTABLE (NGP) Specs includequad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor 5-inch touchscreen OLED display with 960 x 544 resolution dual analog sticks (not nubs as on the current generation) 3G, WiFi, GPS rear-mounted touchpad the same accelerometer / gyroscope motion sensing as in the Move electronic compass cameras front and back

Only 3 days to go for the PSP2 to be announced, Jan 27th unveiling. Japan’s Nikkie newspaper reports that the handheld gaming revolution will have an OLED multitouch display along with a 3G data slot. Allowing users to play multiplayer games on the go, in trains , schools, colleges, etc
The only drawback, this device wont make phone calls. Now, unless it sports a data only chip like the iPad 3g, hackers will surely crack this baby to get more juice out of it, Geohot perhaps!
The device is roumored to be likely as expensive as its $250 PSP predecessor
