Realme once an Oppo subsidiary has quickly grown to become one of the top 10 smartphone OEMs in the world. On the 20th of August, it launched the highly anticipated Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in India. Both smartphones are mid-range devices but the Pro variant have comparativley bumped up specs.

Both the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro have a crystal design on the rear panel  which mimics a holographic effect. They feature a 6.3 inch FHD+ display with an impressive 90.6% screen to body ratio. BBK electronic’s sub-brand and OnePlus’ sister company, Realme is bracing for the launch of its latest smartphone lineup which will carry the Realme 5 branding. The lineup will consist of two handsets which include the ‘standard’ variant and the  ‘Pro’ variant. 

Earlier this month, the Realme 5 was listed on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench which revealed its key specs. Similarly, another Realme smartphone has been spotted on the website which allegedly is the beefed up Realme 5 Pro.
