Samsung has unveiled its latest portable SSD device, the X5. An SSD offers greater speeds over a conventional HDD as it doesn’t not contain any moving parts and directly writes information on to the chip. The new Samsung X5 portable SSD is equipped with NVMe technology and uses Thunderbolt 3 to deliver lightening fast speeds. The NVMe technology delivers higher speeds because it accelerates the transfer of data between a system and an SSD.
