Sony has launched a new mirrorless camera, the Sony A7R III at an event in China.
The Sony A7R III is based around the same 42.2MP full-frame image sensor as in the earlier A7R II. What’s different is that the A7R III is paired with a reworked imaging pipeline that should allow for a 15-stop dynamic range at lower sensitivities.
