ViewSonic has just released three new smartphones into the market the 4s (not to be confused with iPhone 4s ), 4e and 5e.
The ViewPhone 4s features a 3.5-inch 960 x 640 Super Clear IPS LCD (identical to the real 4s) along with a five-megapixel camera, a VGA front-facing imager and a 1GHz chip, the second device the ViewPhone 4e has a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 LCD, a slower processor at 650MHz only, a three-megapixel camera and one extra touch button. The third one aka the 5e has a lower 800 × 480 resolution and a larger 5 inch screen.
Viewsonic is taking its tablet business seriously, and has announced the impending launch of three new tablets – The ViewPad 7x, ViewPad 10 Pro and the budget friendly ViewPad 7e.
The ViewPad 10 Pro runs Android 2.3 and Windows 7 and will be available from September 5th at €499 (INR 35000) for the WiFi only version.

Viewsonic has unveiled the new ViewPad 10Pro, which not only has a Intel atom Z670 1.5GHz processor but also the ability to dual boot Windows 7 and Android OS 2.2 at the same time. The device is a 10 inch slate that boasts a battery life of 8 hours thanks to the ULV processor.

Pocket-lint is reporting, that the Viewsonic Viewpad, sporting Android 2.4, instead of intended Android 2.2 is all set to launch in April this year.
According to their source, however, that update will not be called “Ice Cream”, instead simply still be called Gingerbread.
The major change in the update is Compatibility with dual-core apps its also the main reasons we’ve yet to see many Android 2.3-based devices hit the market.
