Sony is just about to release the Xperia U in the Indian market, for a price of Rs. 17,000/-. For that price we believe the Xperia U has a lot to offer.

The device has a 3.5-inch bravia engine Reality Display, a 1GHz dual-core processor and five megapixel camera. Sony is claiming a 6.5 hours of talk time on their debutant, which seems like good battery promise. The Xperia U will come with Android 2.3 but will also be upgraded to ICS soon afterwards.
The device is expected to be available in Q2 2012 , no release cycle or price point is available yet. Either way the device is a good looking addition from Sony into the Android world.
