Google just launched the Nexus 5 along with the latest Android OS 4.4 KitKat, the same day of launch it was said that device like Nexus 4, 7, 10, HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 will soon have the latest update.
Sony’s flagship device is still away from the Android update, and the users are confused if they will get the latest OS to update or not. Sony has announced a firmware update for its two major phones, the flagship Xperia Z1 and the Giant Xperia Z Ultra.
The company notes in a blog post, “After these products started hitting markets, we listened closely to feedback and looked at how we could refine the build quality. As you know, we’re keen to ensure that all our software is as good as it can possibly be, so we’ve addressed & improved on a few things…”

An invitation to a Sony press event teases what looks like a Godzilla sized phablet. The rumoured Xperia Z Ultra is pictured and the translation reads “Sony mobile reserves a BIG surprise for you.” The Xperia Z Ultra has a speculated screen size of 6.44-inches with a stunning 1080p HD, plus shows a stylus with the words “Don’t forget to mark your calendars!” that indicates it’ll have input support similar to the Samsung’s Galaxy Note.
