ASUS unveiled the ZenFone 5 and the ZenFone 5Z smartphones in Q1 of last year. Both the devices had worthy features and carried an aggressive price tag in comparison to their competitors. The former was targeted towards the mid-range segment while the latter was targetted towards the flagship segment of smartphones. An Unreleased ASUS smartphone has been spotted on the popular benchmarking website, AnTuTu; which is alleged to be of the ZenFone 6. The specifications of the preceding smartphone suggest that it will be a flagship smartphone. Noteworthy, it also hints towards the fact that the company might not release a ‘Z’ variant flagship, unlike last year. 

Zenfone 6 AnTuTu

As mentioned before, a listing of an ASUS smartphone with model number I01WD was uploaded on AnTuTu on the 3rd of April. The aforementioned smartphone is alleged to be the ZenFone 6. The listing exposes that the handset runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS and features the Snapdragon 855.

Specifications, Expected Launch Date And Availability

It is known that the aforementioned chipset is one of the best SoCs in the market as of now. The alleged ZenFone 6 registers an impressive score of 363172 points on AnTuTu. According to the listing, it is packed with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. However, Asus is also expected to launch the upcoming smartphone in other storage variants as well. Other specifications include the display resolution (which is 2340 x 1080 px) and the GPU, which is the Adreno 640. Other specifications will only be made available once the company officially reveals them.

The ZenFone 6 will launch on the 16th of May in Spain which will soon be followed by an India launch. The price of the upcoming smartphone is currently under wraps, however, going by the pricing of its predecessor, its entry-level variant will be priced under Rs 30,000 in India.
