Transcend intros USB 3.0 Flash Drives in INDIA

Transcend today announced the addition of the new JetFlash 700 USB flash drive to its USB 3.0 product portfolio. The new JetFlash 700 USB 3.0 specification boasts optimized interface speeds up to 10X faster than the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 specification. It provides data transfer rates of up to 70MB/s and nearly twice the read speeds.

The JetFlash 700 is now available at an MRP of Rs.1300/- for the 8GB model, Rs.2000/- for the 16GB model and Rs.5600/- for the 32GB model, and backed by Transcend’s limited lifetime warranty.

Other USB 3.0 products from transcend include the StoreJet 25D3 and StoreJet 25M3 portable hard drives, and the USB 3.0 expansion cards for desktop and laptop computers.

    As the USB 3.0 enter the market gradually,more and more devices such as motherboard,hard drives,usb 3.0 hard drive dock,iPad,notebook etc will upgrade to USB 3.0?it’s a exciting thing because of the 10 times speed.But many old devices in current market are USB 2.0 generation,however,the new USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1,so there is no worry.
