Ah the infamous Asus PadFone, shown off last year to tease us with its dual functionality, the company has finally introduced the device at the MWC 2012. The phone part of this hybrid has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display, Snapdragon’s new dual-core S4 chip, an Adreno 225 GPU, Ice Cream Sandwich and an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and f/2.2, with autofocus.
The phone has 16-64 Gb capacity options plus MicroSD (32 GB) , Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, GPS, A-GPS, a gyroscope, 1,520mAh battery and a compass. The phone has a thin profile with only 9.2mm thickness.

Now here is an innovation that speaks volumes. The BlueLounge MiniDock makes use of your existing Apple USB power adapter for a cordless, charging and display dock. the company calls it a dock for the “customers who are passionate about their iPhones”. Either way the simplistic design makes us want to own it. Unfortunately its only available in the US, UK and EU, the good news is that its only US $ 20.

Every now and again we find a product which we look at and go, “That’s cool, I want one”. Well the smart pebbles are one of those products. These colourful pebbles created by Korean designer Kijin Shin of Designmaxx provide a comfortable resting spot for your phone, tablet, laptop or any other device that you want. They can also be used as a wrist support while you’re using the mouse. To use the pebbles, simply press them in the center and you can then proceed to place your phone, laptop or tablet on them. The pebbles are available for 15 USD for a pair.

You can now turn your iPad into a fully functional laptop by purchasing the Crux Loaded case. For $250 you can purchase this case which has an iPad dock in place of the screen. It gives you a keyboard and trackpad that connects to your iPad via Bluetooth, and a 7.5 hour extended battery on top of the iPad’s already impressive 10 hour battery. To make full use of it you would need a remote desktop app on your iPad.

Korean manufacturer Omnio has come out with a few prototypes of its ‘WOW Keys’ USB keyboard last year and is all set to enter the keyboard industry with its finished product this year. Measuring 16 x 4.7 x 1 -inches and weighing 1.4 pounds, the full-size QWERTY keyboard is compatible with both windows and mac operating systems, permitting the docking of iPhones and iPods.
