Samsung has added another device to their lineup. The new 3.6 inch Samsung Galaxy S WiFi is a basic handheld PMP with a 3.6-inch HVGA display, Android 2.3, a 1GHz OMAP processor, 8GB or 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, GPS, a mic for VoIP calls, and dual cameras (2 megapixels + VGA on the front). The device has been made official for Asia and Europe for £149 (INR 11,000) and £169 ( INR 12500)
Looks like Samsung was expecting the Apple next smartphone to be a knocker, and has studied a next gen device, in hopes of attracting the crazy iPhone buying crowd.
The device itself has 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED Plus display that measures in at 5.29 inches diagonal, it will run Android 2.3 and will have a 1.5ghz dual core processor, not to forget a 8mp camera
The device hopelessly reminds us of the trailer and details that came out by Samsung recently. Either way there is a big announcement on the 1st and we will wait for that.
In the case of Apple vs Samsung, Samsung was earlier denied the motion to put a stop on sale of Apple products in the US which broke the patents held by Samsung. Apple went on to countersue and asked for a ban on sale of Samsung Products like the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S2 / S among others. Apple has also asked to see upcoming products from the company to ensure that none of them violate trademark and copyright laws.
Whats more Apple had also asked for the Judge to speed up the hearing and briefing process. The court put Apple down by denying its request to compress the briefing schedule. The reson for denial is stated [...]

The question haunts every smartphone buyer, “should i instead buy a tablet?”. In the past few weeks we have got over a hundred emails asking us this question.
Tablet season is here and its going to stay. When tablets were launched globally starting with the 1st iPad in the United Stated, analysts speculated that the market in India would not adapt to a tablet lifestyle. Today more than 25% of India’s mobile internet traffic is from iPads alone, another 10% from other tablets. Analyst have been proven wrong yet again, but the question still remains a Tablet or a souped up Smartphone?

The suing war started back in April when Apple sued Samsung claiming it copied “Apple’s technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products.” Samsung responded just one week later by filing countersuits.

Looks like everyone in this world believes that Nokia is a dying breed. Analysts from Nomura Research say Nokia’s will lose the top spot this quarter for the first time since 1996. Its a shame really. Also, according to the Analysts the top two spots will had by Apple and Samsung pushing Nokia to No. 3.
