Mid-Range Asus Live is Now Official in Three Colour Variants

Asus has come out with a new mid-ranger, Asus Live. It has been launched in Brazil with its specs reminding us a lot of the Zenfone Go.

In terms of hardware, Live is modeled heavily on the same lines as its predecessor. It comes with a 5 inch display with 720p. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, and is powered by the MediaTek MT6589 SoC. On the camera front, the phone has an 8 MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 2 MP selfie camera. Live is further equipped with Dual SIM support and a 2,070 mAh battery. However, the phone doesn’t offer LTE support.

The dimensions of the device once again remind us of Go. Live measures 144.5 x 71 x 9.98 mm and weighs 140 grams, just a little bit heavier than Go. The new Asus device however has a different colour variants to offer at the time of its launch; they are – Blue, Pink and Yellow. Asus Live is priced at 849 BRL (close to about Rs. 14,000). Here’s How You Can Watch the Windows Event Live

Tech year has kept its hand full for a while now with all major brands coming out with their flagship devices and significant updates to their offerings, one after another. Taking a look at the recent past, Apple is an important name which triggered a new season of sorts in the technology circuit just a couple of weeks ago.

Come September and 2015 would see not only Apple, but also the Google Nexus event. We were just done drawing comparisons between these two events when Microsoft has now arrived with its contribution to the events song and dance. Both Apple and Google events offered the latest in technology, showcasing top-drawer devices, updates, software and accessories. Hopes ride high as we sit back to see if Microsoft too will follow the league of its counterparts.

There is much to expect from the company as it comes out with its first high-end smartphones of the year at event today. There are lots of hardware updates in store, along with additions to the Lumia phones category, a new variant of the Microsoft band, and the Surface Pro can be expected to found at the launch among other things. We might also get to see smartphones and tablets compatible with Windows by the end of the event.

Windows will be hosting the event in New York today at 10 AM ET. The event can be watched live here at 7:30pm IST.

Burberry Uses iPhone 5s to Capture Spring/Summer 2014 Runway Show

Apple and Burberry today announced that iPhone 5s is being used to capture and share beautiful photos and videos before, during and after the Burberry runway show in London on Monday, September 16. It will use the the all-new iSight camera on iPhone 5s, Burberry is shooting high quality photos and video for runway and beauty looks, product details, and backstage moments.

“iPhone 5s makes it even easier to take great photos with the world’s most popular camera,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of iPhone & iOS Product Marketing. “We’re thrilled to see the amazing photos and HD video Burberry has captured with the incredible all-new iSight camera.”

Watch the Launch of the Galaxy Grand Live on iGyaan

Samsung is ready to announce the Galaxy Grand for the Indian market at 12:30 on January 22nd 2013. Bookmark this page to watch it live. The Samsung Galaxy Grand is dual-SIM smartphone and features a massive 5-inch WVGA display , which as per the resolution (800 x 480 pixels) can be termed as average at best. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Under the hood, the Galaxy Grand is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM so we can easily expect a smooth operation on the device for the most part.

The device looks strikingly similar to Samsung’s current flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S3 and comes with 8GB of internal storage along with a micro-SD card slot using which, users can expand the storage on the device by up to 64GB. For connectivity, the Galaxy Grand features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS Glonass and DLNA.

Nokia PureView launch : We’ll be covering it Live

The PureView features a massive 41-megapixel sensor.

After an entire week of rumours and waiting, Nokia will finally launch their new device, the 808 PureView, on 13th June and iGyaan will be covering it live! The expected launch price is around Rs 29,999.

The device features a massive, high-resolution 41 megapixel sensor with high-performance Carl Zeiss optics and has full HD 1080p video recording and playback. The PureView was made available for pre-booking last month on Nokia’s website.

Tim Cook : 76 percent of Apple Revenue comes from iPhone, iPod and iPad

Al the launch event of the next generation iPad, Apple CEO Tim Cook has just declared that about 76% of Apple 2011 revenues came from the “three post PC products”. The iPhone, the iPod and the iPad made up for most of their income streams. Lets see what the iPad 3 does for the company.
