Lenovo-owned Motorola announced the Moto G5S and the G5S Plus on 1st August and has now launched the two phones in India at a price of Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively. The smartphones will be available in two colours – Lunar Grey and Blush Gold and is an Amazon exclusive.
Moto G5SThe Moto G5S has a 5.2 inch 1920 x 1080 px IPS LCD display with a fingerprint sensor sitting below it which can also double up as a single navigation button. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A 3,000mAh battery power the Moto G5S and features Moto turbo charge. Lenovo-owned Motorola just announced the Moto G5S Plus, successor to its popular mid-ranger the Moto G5 plus. Priced at Rs 15,999, the Moto G5S Plus is at par with the Moto G5 Plus which is priced at Rs 14,999.
The Moto G5 plus, like its predecessor the Moto G4 Plus has superior camera performance especially considering its price point. Add to that, an all metal design and fast user experience thanks to Motorola’s stock-ish take on Android 7.0 made the Moto G5 Plus a success.

Moto will launch the Moto G5 in India on the 4th of April with the phone going on sale Midnight of the 4th-5th April. The phone is a cheaper alternative to the recently launched Moto G5 Plus which sells at Rs.14999 as a flipkart exclusive.Â

The Moto G5 Plus was launched recently in India, and the Moto G5 is Expected to hit the country in the coming weeks. While both the grey and gold variants of the phone went on sale, the Moto G5 Plus is also expected in a Blue colour. Flipkart and Moto both, have been teasing the launch of the phone over their social media platforms, and now have officially announced that the phone will be a Flipkart exclusive. Lenovo Owned Moto is gunning for the glory of their best selling handset as the prepare the revision for 2017. The Moto G5 and G5 plus said to succeed the Moto G4 and G4 plus and to be launched at MWC 2017 will bring about a lot of changes for the category hit.
Lenovo will reduce the pricing in certain regions of the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. The Moto G5 will be available in 2GB + 16GB for 189 Euro and 3GB + 16GB for 209 Euro which is considerably lower than the 240 Euro price for the Moto G4. What is interesting is that Lenovo may do this by supplementing the Snapdragon chipset with a cheaper Mediatek chipset, a move that may not go down well with the fans of the Moto G [...]
