Finnish smartphone manufacturer, Nokia is on a smartphone launching spree in India. Last month, the company launched their budget-friendly Nokia 3.1 smartphone. Now they have unveiled the Nokia 7.1, which is a sub 20k smartphone. Like other Nokia phones, it also is an Android One device. With these listings already out, it is said that HMD will launch the smartphone soon. Other specifications of the device include the Snapdragon 710 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie. HMD Global had launched their Nokia 7.1 smartphone at an event held in London earlier this moth. The device was announced for the European market. An India launch was expected soon after, but HMD launched the device as the Nokia X7 in China after a few days. However, the India launch of the device is now near, according to a report, stating that we may see the Nokia 7.1 soon.

An upcoming premium smartphone from Nokia with the moniker Nokia 8.1 has appeared on Geekbench’s website before it’s official launch. The specifications of the Nokia 8.1 are quite similar to the recently launched Nokia X7 or Nokia 7.1 Plus.
The device has the same processor as the Nokia X7 which is the Snapdragon Qualcomm 710 SoC. Nokia India teased a smartphone with a ‘mega display’ on its twitter account recently. The phone could be the Nokia 7.1 Plus, the successor to the recently launched Nokia 7.1.
