Panasonic has announced two models of its first full-frame mirrorless camera. The Lumix S1 and S1R cameras support 4K video at up to 60 fps. The devices will use the new L-Mount lenses from Panasonic and have a 35 mm full-frame image sensor.

The cameras were introduced at Photokina 2018 is claimed to be ‘dedicated to professionals’ by the company and form the base of the Lumix S series of cameras. Panasonic hasn’t refreshed its premium smartphone range from quite a while, but the Japanese firm is now retrieving the lost position, catching up with high-end offerings by other brands. The consumer electronics giant gained some spotlight with the launch of Lumix DCM-CM1 in the US, introduced last year in September. The CM1 is a smartphone/mirrorless camera encompassing some of the best features of camera and smartphone. Panasonic has teased, teased and teased its new G series camera, to finally launch it with interesting specs.  The Micro-Four Thirds almost as bis as a DSLRs and loaded with features  including dust- and splash-proof magnesium alloy body, you’ll find a 16.05-megapixel Live Mos sensor with 200 to 12,800 ISO natively with extension from 125 to 25,600. Panasonic’s foray into Micro 4/3 system cameras has got them the fame they were looking for, but that does not mean they are stopping anytime soon. The company has just released the new DMC GX1 Micro 4/3 camera, which features a new revamped 16 megapixel ILC that includes a Live MOS sensor and Venus engine. It also has a maximum ISO of 12,800 which seems high enough. Like other cameras these are also compatible with all micro 4/3 lenses from various manufacturers.

Panasonic has released the new Lumix FX90 which not only feature a built in Wireless antenna but also a Android and iOS app from Launch. These apps allow transferring pictures and video directly to a mobile device, then uploading them to Lumix Club — a cloud-based photo-sharing service — and on to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
