It appears that it wasn’t a one-off prediction as a result of boredom and this might actually happen. Huawei launched the P20 Pro on March 27th making it the first smartphone with a triple camera setup on the rear. The smartphone borrowed a couple of design cues from the iPhone X like its notch and placing the cameras vertically on the back.
