Asus has unveiled its new Zenbook Infinity Ultrabook during Computex 2013 today, the world’s first Ultrabook to sport a lid comprised entirely from Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3.
The Gorilla Glass has been fused directly to the aluminum frame, allowing for a thickness of just 15.5-mm thin (about 0.61 inches). That’s 14-percent thinner than the previous generation Zenbook, the company said.

While most companies are slotting their ultrabooks are premium laptops, HCL has launched their new range of Ultrasmart ME UltraBooks at a relatively low price starting Rs. 51990. The new Ultrabooks weigh in at just under 1.7 KGs and feature 14 inch WXGA displays.

Before the elusive HP Spectre could make it to India, HP has already launched a new Ultrabook called the HP Spectre XT. This new Ultraboox, however, uses a different design approach, 13-inch, aluminum-shelled Envy Spectre XT. It also offers a new look at pricing the original Spectre costs $1400, whereas the Spectre XT starts at $1000. The new XT will also come with the new Ivy-Bridge platform and measure in at only 14.3mm thick at the thickest point, 128GB SSD and a battery rated for eight hours of usable juice.

Dell has Launched the new Ultra slim Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook in India. With that Dell becomes the latest to follow in on the ultra book trend in India. Made from composite aluminum and carbon fibre, the XPS 13 is slim at just 6mm at its thinnest point and has a 13.3-inch display with a size of a 11-inch netbook.

The new X-Note Z330 is only 14.7mm (0.58-inches) in thickness, 1.21kg (2.67 pounds) in weight and has a SSD that makes it an extremely versatile machine.
