windows_not_genuine

One of the most common tech blunder that most people make is to Install the pirated version of Windows. But you have to ask yourself whether it’s worth losing and rebooting your system a year down the line, or paying a few extra thousand for the original windows now?

4. Leaving the house with less than 62% battery life

Low-battery

Smartphones today either run on Android or iOS which are known for their User Interface. One thing, however, these phones are not reputed for is their battery life. Make sure you leave home with a fully charged phone or suffer the wrath of the missed calls.

3. Buying a device with an old software

There are two kinds of old software buyers. One who don’t care about the latest version and the other who expect an upgrade to launch for their device. The latter are easy to spot since they are always seen complaining about their device.

2. Investing in a 3D Tv

3dtv

Investing in a 3D TV is one of the biggest mistakes one could make. With only few movies and games available and scarcity of time; 3d TV’s are not the best bet yet.

1. Buying Samsung Galaxy S5 at full price

It was initially launched at a whooping Rs 53,500 after which the prices dropped drastically. For people who value their wealth and want their money’s worth, this is not the device for you.

Cheated by Samsung Mobile India Hi friends, I have purchased Samsung Galaxy Note-3 SM-N9000 on 11th May 2014 bearing my Invoice TIN no-07320292654 and Serial number is- 351540060519006. Its hardly two months old and I am facing charging problem. Whenever I am charging with its original charger its dropping in-between but when I connect with other charger with usb 2.0 charging jack so it charges without any drop but it is taking very longer than usb 3.0. I believe it is having this problem due to my recent software updates. I went to my nearest Samsung service centre which is SRS Telecom, E-3, Block E, Kalkaji, New Delhi-19 # 011 6570 5252 and shown my mobile to them. After diagnosing it they said due to liquid contacted with the charging port and got carbon that's why your phone is not charging. They also said It might be due to your sweaty skin or rainy season. even though they admitted that there is no sign of water inside the phone....which is about right because it never got wet! The service centre representative told me that charging port need to replace and according to our company warranty policy this will be chargeable which is costing around Rs. 2,700. Here I need to know the charging port is located at outside the mobile panel and there are chances of contacting moisture to it which lead to happen chemical reaction. Due to this its generated carbon and not taking charging. It might be sound funny but has anyone ever told you that kindly don't use this phone in humid environment or don't talk longer otherwise you will get sweat and this might will harm your phone. I am also owner of Apple product but never experienced such after sales experience. I never expected such experience with an esteemed company like Samsung. Kindly look into this matter as my phone is under warranty and hardly 2 months old the and part should be replaced under the warranty only . PS: Samsung Telephonic reference number-8431681744 Samsung Service Centre reference number- 4177989669

Just because you can't afford something doesn't justify pirating it. If you can't afford a BMW, you will buy a Maruti. You won't steal a BMW and say they don't care about markets like India. It's simple. Software piracy is STEALING. If you can't afford genuine windows, then use Linux. It's open, free and overall much better than windows. Give it a shot. You won't regret it.

@Chikon Agree on some points however am not referring to the customers who brought the Motoo-G 6 months back, Am reffering to the customers who brought it a month or two bak, in fact have I find freinds who who want to sell their phone Moto G to by a Xiaomi. Waiting helps if u r really concerned abour price, The reason behind buying my HTC dual was to buy a high end with dual sim capabilities which I found it beneficial at that time. Take a note 3 for eg which took a long time to come down, until last month it was selling for around 45 k and my colleague was one of the first buyers who bought it for 50k 9 months back. So you really cant say which phone will come down by what time. What am saying is that if you r a gadget freak and like something then go for it, if you are concerned about value for money you always have the option too wait and take the best price which I did for my Z10. I liked Z10 since it was launched for 42k and wanted to use it as my work phone however bought it only in March when the price reduced to 16k. so really a choice to make between need and anxiety :).

ImJC well i don't think so..biwi ka pata nai but for mobile, yes we can wait and watch how it goes by in the market. You could have saved Rs 15k for your HTC ONE DUAL bcz everyone knew that the price is bound to go down after few months...you got same thing at a higher price which you could have got at a lesser price after few months...Moto G users won't regret for Xiaomi bcz  Moto G users have already used their handsets for almost 6-7 months now..they will use their G for nxt 5-6 months and also would keep an eye on Xiaomi handsets and would check how they are performing and after an year they would get a Xiaomi handset by exchanging his/her's current G handsets.

Iphone 5S 64 gb was launched for more than a lac when was first available in India, In 4 weeks it reduced by 35 k :P This doesn't mean we should not  buy phones at the launch time if you really like it and looking forward for it . I bought my HTC one dual for 55k and in a couple of months it reduced to 40k but i dont regret because i had it when I needed it .. LG g2 pro was launched two months bak for 50k in a month it was available for around 30K. The pricing of a smart phone depends on multiple factors. I'm sure half of the Moto G users will be blaming themselves now have to not waited for Xiamo :) so its never a right time to buy a Cellphone. When u like something just buy it.. Mobile aur Biwi ek tarah hi hoti hai, Hamesha lagta hai thoda wait karte toh aur achha ho jata :P

The point about Samsung galaxy S5 is the real truth... The price of it dropped by ₹18500 in just 3 months... That's ridiculous...

Not everybody can afford genuine windows. All versions are unrealistically priced for a market like India. MSFT doesn't care about markets like India, that's very clear. I have seen many companies running pirated Windows on all of their computer systems. And btw, most mentions in this article don't sit right with the topic
