Visa, Accenture and Pizza Hut are testing a connected car technology that would allow us to place an order from the car even while driving, negating the need for a smartphone.

Using a feature called Interactive Voice Control (IVR), you will be able to talk to your car and place your order hands free. While Visa Checkout allows you to make hassle free payments.

Visa says initially the service will focus on food, but the technology behind the partnership can be extended and applied to other everyday purchases like fuel and parking.

Visa will be showcasing the connected car system at the ongoing MWC in Barcelona, while plans for finally rolling out the service begins this Spring after a three month test run, starting with the U.S.
