Honor has announced a new budget smartphone, the Honor 8C in China. The smartphone has a 6.26 inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 px and 269 ppi pixel density. It is the first device to run on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC with an Octa-Core processor and the Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
On the back, the Honor 8C has dual rear cameras, the first one is a 13 MP, f/1.8 aperture equipped color sensor and a secondary 2 MP, f /2.4 aperture equipped black and white sensor. The device can capture 1080p videos at 30 fps. Along with the dual rear cameras, it also has an 8 MP selfie camera which can shoot 1080p videos at 30 fps. The Snapdragon 632 has AI integration that assists in taking better pictures from the smartphone.

The Honor 8C is powered by a 4,00o mAh lithium-polymer battery and it also has a fingerprint scanner for swiftly unlocking the phone. The phone is running on EMUI 8.2 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It has a triple slot which houses two SIM cards and a microSD card.
Talking about connectivity, the smartphone has 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and micro-USB 2.0 for charging and data transfer.
Price and Availability:
The Honor 8C starts at a price of 1,099 ¥ (around Rs 11,700) and is available in three color variants: Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Platinum Gold. The smartphone is up for pre-order in China, but the company is yet to make any announcement about its India launch.
