Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 New Colours And Fingerprint Scanner Leaked
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has seen various leaks. The latest one features two Mi Mix 3 phones in two different colours. Very recently, a press render and live shot of the Mi Mix 3 surfaced. Now another image has been shown by the company’s CEO himself. In the image, two Mi Mix 3 devices are kept side by side, one is Black and the other is Blue in colour. The phone shows a dual camera vertical setup with flash and surprisingly features a fingerprint sensor. The photo was taken down shortly after.
It was much talked about that the new Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will have an in-display fingerprint sensor but it seems there will be different variants with different ways to unlock the phone. Xiaomi is also reportedly working on a special arts edition in conjunction with the British Museum. The phone will also supposedly sport 24-megapixel selfie cameras. The company has also recently confirmed that it will feature a sliding front camera with flash.
The glass back panel suggests that wireless charging might be an option as well. It also features a USB Type-C charging port. Other rumoured specifications include Android Pie, a Samsung AMOLED display panel with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Rumours also suggest that the phone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 10GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device is also set to be the first smartphone with 5G support.
Price leaks suggest that there will be several different versions of the phone. The 6GB RAM/ 64GB will cost around $510 (roughly Rs. 37,500) and the 6GB RAM/ 128GB will be $555 (about Rs. 40,800). The 8GB RAM/ 128GB should be around $600 (around Rs. 44,100) while the 8GB RAM/ 256GB is reportedly around $645 (close to Rs. 47,400). No leaks have come up yet on the 10 GB variant’s price. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will see its launch on October 25 at an event in China.
