Honor 9X With Pop Up Camera and Kirin 810 Leaked
In the Q3 of 2018, Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor launched the 8X which is a mid-range smartphone. According to a Twitter user, the company will soon launch its successor which will carry the Honor 9X moniker and will be a significantly improved handset.
Honor 9X Design and Features
According to image and specs shared by the tipster, the front of the Honor 9x has an edge to edge display with minimal bezels and an under display fingerprint sensor. The display on the upcoming device will range between 6.5 and 6.7 inch which is yet to be confirmed. Similar to high-end devices like the OnePlus 7 Pro and Redmi K20 lineup, it also features a pop-up mechanism on top which houses the 32 MP selfie camera.
The rear of the smartphone seems to be made out of glass that is occupied by the company branding and a dual camera setup which is aligned in a vertical manner. Out of the two camera sensors present on the rear, the main camera is the 48 MP Sony IMX86 sensor.
The Honor 9X will be kitted with the Kirin 810 SoC which was first seen on the Honor Nova 5. The chipset is manufactured using 7 nm process and it consists of an Octa-CoreCPU along with Mali G52 GPU. Noteworthy, the chipset is based on Darwin architecture which is designed in house by Huawei. The Honor 9X will be powered by a 3,750 mAh battery which is likely to support some sort of fast charging.
The leaked poster has revealed that the Honor 9X will be launched on the 23rd of July which is nearing fast. Therefore, we won’t have to wait for long to get the confirmed features and price of the device.
All in all, the Honor 9X seems like an assuring smartphone, and if the company is able to aggressively price it, like its predecessor, it will turn out to be a worthy contender in the mid-range segment.
