Google Play Store Update Adds Attractive Visuals and Full-Height Navigation

Time to bid farewell to the Hamburger menu, as Google Play Store has been updated with its latest version 5.1.11. This version brings along a few changes, the most important of which is the useful full-height navigation.

The new version is being rolled out in phases and does not sport a lot of changes, though is filled with slight tweaks and minor improvements that should make the overall experience of the Play Store much better. In addition, there are a plethora of Android 5.0 tweaks which include various new animations.

Other changes include real time card shadows for Android 5.0 and onwards, visuals and scrolling optimisations in the My Apps menu along with a brand new look on the My Account screen.

You can download the updated version of the Play Store here or here. Though users need to be reminded that some features might only work on devices with Android 5.0 and onwards.
