Motorola is all set to launch the new Moto E4 and the E4 plus in India. The phone that features a whopping 5000 mAh battery is being teased by Motorola India’s twitter. Claiming that the biggest horror today is a dead battery.

The Moto E4 Plus was launched earlier in June in certain markets and is expected to hit India within a fortnight. The Moto E4 and E4 Plus will launch in India priced under the Moto G series and above the Moto C Plus that was launched recently by the company.

The Moto E4 Plus features a 5.5 inch 1280 x 720px IPS LCD display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone runs on 3GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage along with microSD expandability for up to 128 GB.

For optics the E4 Plus has a 13 MP, f/2.0 AF main camera with 1.12 µm pixel size, and a 5 MP, f/2.2 front camera with a 1.4 µm pixel size.

The smaller sibling the Moto E4 gets a 5 inch IPS display with the same resolution, along with Gorilla Glass 3. The E4 also gets the same chipset with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage with microSD expandability for up to 128 GB. In the cameras the E4 gets an 8MP main shooter with an f/2.2 aperture , with the same front camera as the Moto E4 Plus.

The Moto E4 will be priced considerably lower than the Moto E4 Plus and the smaller phone also features a smaller 2800 mAh battery.

Both the E4 and E4 Plus have front mounted fingerprint sensors just under the front display.

2GB ram is OK for the price…not very good, but 16GB internal is bullhshit, buy nothing less than 32GB for the price which it will be launched and why is the younger sibiling’s camera aperture 2.2 and not 2.0, the MP gets reduced from 13 to 8, that was enough to justify it being the lower priced, why mess with aperture?? seems like whoever wants a compact 5″ phone doesn’t deserve a good camera…aye Moto??
