We’ve got exclusive news about the launch of the next generation Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 3. The Note 3 was announced on 4th of September during IFA 2013 in Berlin, and was expected to hit markets by September 25th.

Exclusive sources at Samsung close to iGyaan have told us, that the company will launch the handset on September 17th and the 16GB variant will be priced under Rs. 50,000. This week a rumor pointed out that the Galaxy Note 3 will be launched for a price of Rs. 47990, and if we tie it up with the information we received from our source, it sounds about right.

India is one of the biggest markets for Samsung, and has been constantly the first tier to receive our products in the mobile division, this time it will be no different.

S View Case for Note 3

Samsung will launch the new Galaxy Note 3 at an event in New Delhi on the 17th of September and will have the phone available in the market by September 25th.  Samsung is also expected to launch all the new accessories including the new S-View cases for the Note 3, the Leather back case options and the glam cases, alongside the Note 3.

The biggest disappointment to buyers in India will be the chipset option for the Galaxy Note 3. With LTE a far away dream for Indians, the company will presently launch the Galaxy Note 3 with the Exynos 5 Octa chipset, also limiting Video Capture to 1080p and not the 4k offered in the Snapdragon 800. Samsung will however launch all three colors the black, white and pink , where the company expects a lot of female buyers for the Pink option, opening a new market of consumers.

Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Gear watch alongside the Galaxy Note 3, with an expected price of Rs. 18000. also to be available by the 25th of September.

It is also expected that Samsung will initiate a pre-order option with some bundles to offer for early buyers. If Samsung launches the Galaxy Note 3 at Rs. 47,990 with a bundled flip case, would you buy it, and in what color ? Let us know below.

Update : Although the 32GB variant was the smallest version announced at IFA, we have heard that Samsung may launch a 16 GB variant to keep the price low in markets like India.

Samsung u have to bring the SD800 in the Indian market ….. 47k is too much for a non SD800 processor although its ram is 3gb.
This is the same processor which has been used in the GS4 which is slightly leggy some time while scrolling the contacts and browsing internet .
m waiting for the dual sim variant .Lets see how is this about ,lets hope that it will come with the SD800 processor Verson…That the only that we can do….

Not unless you figure out a way to dump loads of data into a laughable 96GB(32 + 64) of memory space

4K will easily eat away all your parking space

Why all the boring features are there for indians. We also need good features. The best option is to import the phones.

It would have been nice if samsung Launch’s the Note 3 in india with the Snapdragon Chipset with the same price, would also be better if they increase the Memo to 32 GB…i saw the benchmark results & was amazed with the Snapdragon’s Chipset results in topping in all the test…WoW for that Snapdragon & Hmm for Exnos Chipset…

It is probably a good decision not to launch the 4k video feature. Imagine the space 4k videos will acquire on ur phone or sd card considering that a 720p capable phone takes 25mb space for a 1 minute video. 48k is too much for any phone. Note 2 was selling at 38k 6 months ago, now, its down to 27k* without exchange. S3 is available for a little over 23k* (*Online prices).
It’s got desirable features bt every person I know with note ot note 2 has no use for the stylus or S-pen. Y dnt they get rid of it & bring the initial prices down a lot.

Indians have been know Globally for considering price point of each device,Note 2 is no less in everyday use I personally don’t think 50k is worth for any phone.I would rather buy a note 2 once again.thank God Note 2 price in India just got slashed & I bought it in 27.5 K from a local dealer, Seeing the price of note 3 I’m really very happy.

these are cooked up stories. 32GB will be the lowest capacity. yes no 4K but thats good since u can save a lot of disk space and will be around 45K initially and u can expect it to come down to 38-40K by diwali

What the……….!!! I have using samsung smartphones from s2 to currently s4.. I like their responses and the good features. But to be honest the s4 is lot gimmicky. It is so limited. So switching to note series this time. I loved that they are bringing the 4k video category but I was wrong. Why the hell is the exynos version so limited? No lte, now no 4k. Very dissapointed. I think will wait for the htc max.. lets c

50,000 for a phablet? and the price will go down almost 50% after a year even if rupee price doesn’t fall. Look at S3. It was launched at 42000 and after just over a year since launch it’s available at around 25-26k. These introductory prices have huge margins for sure.

Dude that’s last year’s flagship phone. After 1 year almost every phone out there will be cheaper than when they are launched. Look at the prices of HTC OX/OX+, Sony XS, LG OG, Nokia L920, etc.
